Tough crowd I guess.

In the past I've posted quite a lot on the RVF forum and the Red Pill is something I have always had in me. The thoughts posted in this reddit are nothing new to me.

Just figured it might be of interest to guys that think like myself.

As far as additional commentary, I feel that the stigma of mistresses is another reason behind the continually falling marriage rate. I'm 44 and have never been married simply because I did not feel like getting divorced after 10 years just because I wanted some strange.

A "Provider" relationship is a traditional relationship, with the man handling his gender roles while the woman fulfills her's. As I see Dalrock in the good links list to the right, and he is definitely a red pill relationship guy, it would seem to me that other sites advocating traditional dating would not be out of bounds to link here.

I see that it is common, but not universal, to also provide a lot of commentary along with said link. If I was wrong in not breaking down the article, I apologize.

As stated in the article, mistresses have been common in the past and still are in much of the world, even certain classes of wealth in the US.

And keeping a mistress is very red pill in my view.

Lots of wealthy guys don't know how to control a mistress however. See one Donald Sterling for an example of that. Plenty of wealthy guys end up getting divorced and losing huge amounts of their income/property/savings due to not controlling their wives and mistresses.

The divorce laws of today make it difficult for anyone in the US.

Tip for wealthy guys with a mistress; Don't buy her anything, lease it.

Sterling failed on that one and lost control.

I had the same take; He was pissed she was flaunting being with other men while he was supplying her pretty opulant lifestyle. I didn't take it as a racist rant. Of course being pissed about his mistress slutting around wouldn't pull near the ratings that him ranting about her being with black guys did, so there we are with today's media. It's all about pageviews and TV ratings, not the facts.

One thing I have noted about married wealthy men with mistresses is that many of the wives either are or were, depending on age, pretty hot and attractive. The group of women less likely to fall for the feminism lie. They understand their gender roles as they have benefited from them, living a comfortable life provided for them by their wealthy husband. They are less likely to blow up the marriage as it would threaten their lifestyle, even with a substantial divorce payout.

It's actually common most everywhere except the western world and was practiced much more frequently here before no fault divorce became an income stream for women.

Like Don Draper said so eloquently, "I invented love to sell nylons".

Love in the physical doesn't last and marriage has always been a business arrangement.

Mistress implies that there is sexual dissatisfaction in the chains of marriage.
