This is why you shouldn't talk about TRP to anyone but your closest male friends, people will do everything in their power to discredit you.

Who cares? You should have no problem defending what you believe. If your ideals can't stand up to scrutiny, what good are they?

I can understand not wanting a fucking debate every day, that shit can be annoying, but that doesn't mean you should keep your mouth shut about beliefs all together.

You are assuming that these discussions would follow the rules of logic. It is an unpleasant topic for most people and should be treated like you would treat other sensitive topics (religion, politics). Personally I dont wanna be that guy.

No, I know damn well they don't follow the rules of logic. Very few emotional subjects do. Doesn't mean I'm going to sit in silence when people talk about religion or politics.

I try to take a delicate approach, and though it doesn't always work, I'd rather not sit around in silence and let other people talk about it, just because I'm afraid of offending them. I don't go around preaching, but like I said, I'm not going to keep my mouth shut all together. If I lose friends over it, good, I'd rather be around people that can handle differing opinions instead of expecting me to listen to them drone on.
