All ex bf are assholes. That's how women cope.

I agree, although I wish I could have handled the situation a bit better I'm using this experience as something I can learn from.

I assume you've not stolen any of her stuff like records right? Cos that would be the most obvious answer to what she's doing!
If everything is equal though and the relationship has ended, and you were as bad as you say when in it with her, the sudden drying-up of fawning attention has probably smacked her in the face like a shovel and she's having serious withdrawal-symptoms. It could be that she's desperate to get back on semi-good terms with you just so she can validate that 'she did nothing wrong' and can go on gleaning her self-esteem from awe-struck BF's.
If you are reliant on outside sources to feed your self-esteem or sense of worth then you're onto a losing life right there, and if you end up like that and simultaneously ugly then that's how women end up the size of blimps.

Perfectly stated. Even when we were together and I was out or busy with other things it would be a problem with her. I ignored all of the red flags with her and she saw me as a weak man so I don't even blame her for taking advantage of me because at the time I could not live for myself. Towards the end of the relationship I started to stick up for myself and call her out on her bull shit and she was not okay with that.

Well at least you had the good sense to end it.
You can think of the power-dynamic in a relationship like a man (or woman) digging a hole as time goes on, if you realise there is a problem with the hole early enough you can easily clamber out, but if you don't see the problem, are too uninformed to realise it exists or it catches you unaware then you can end up with being 'in-too-deep' and stuck with the problems in your "hole" and with no choice but to clamber out, leg it, and start another one somewhere else with new knowledge.

I like this... that is the plan. I am in no rush to get into anything serious and I want to enjoy the single life.

I know you are new to this, but if you didn't care about her , why does it matter if she is trying to get back in contact? and why did you then feel motivated enough to make a thread about it.
Approach other women, work on your game, hit the gym, don't give a fuck about an EX. DGAF, in general.

That is a great question & I will answer truthfully: recently I have been working out and meeting new women but in the back of my mind I was still holding onto a little bit of the hurt. The difference is my old LTR never reached out to contact me as far as I know but I knew she was still speaking down on me. I lost my composure dealing with this situation no lie about that, however I will apply everything I've learned from these last few days to my daily life. I have a lot to work on and I will never be able to get to where I want to be if I'm still holding onto the past. Even then I handled everything in the wrong way. From what I learned from the red pill is more than how to get over oneitis and pulling women, I learned how to hold myself accountable and admit when I screw up. Thank you for the reply, honestly.

Congratulations! I have started swallowing the pill on my own two years ago an I have discovered the red pill about a year now(but I have been truly applying what I'm reading here only for about 6 months or so), an I can really see the improvements and I'm on my way to get over my 5 years long Oneitis( I liked her for 3 years before I started realize something is not right, then my feelings started to fade away, even though, sadly, they are not yet completely gone). I hope in a couple of months I will be able to do what you did.

Best of luck to you! It was not easy getting over my Oneitis but through working out, introspection, and cutting out all of the drama I was able to it. The feelings will fade away as the days go by and one day it'll hit you. When the day comes, you will know. I wish you nothing but the best.

Thank you! Focusing on my career really helped me starting to get over her. Have a great day!

My ex literally slipped my pregnant secondary the morning after pill, hidden in her hot drink.... trying to make her abort it, a couple weeks in. Fast forward a few months, and they are chatting it up at a local pub, talking about taking their dogs to the park together.
That's right. She was bonding over how 'shitty I am' with someone that fucking poisoned her (and admitted it to others).
Seriously. This is the hamster in action.
Don't every be surprised, EXPECT to be told by women and white knights that you're being shit talked.

Well done, mate. Kill the beta, dismember, put in a barrel of gas and burn. Then bury the barrel.
