This is a post directed towards newer members of The Red Pill.
It’s very easy to backslide and lose your footing. If you have yet to cultivate your DGAF mentality - which more accurately is a “redirect where you give a fuck” mentality - and don’t have a RP mentor in your life, then odds are you’re looking for answers and aren’t too picky about where they come from. You’ve ended up here, after all. So how do you stay true to yourself when everyone is trying to capitalise on your uncertainty for their own gain?
You need to decide a set of morals or principles by which you stick to when times are tough. This could be something like “I will not tolerate people disrespecting me” or “I will be kind to everyone I talk to”. Your frame will be determined by these principles.
How do you decide your principles? First, consider what is important to you and what you hold in high regard. Second, observe the principles of successful people. Third, draw on your own experiences of being fucked over and use that experience to decide.
Why are principles important? Well, it provides a foundation for your frame. It gives you a better sense of identity. It helps you give your life a direction if you don’t have one already. Perhaps you won’t take everything stated on this sub at face value and you might even develop critical thinking skills!
Maybe you’re a complete newbie. Maybe you’ve been here a year. Maybe you’ve been here for a few years.
Whatever your situation is, you need principles to ground yourself. Decide them.
