So I was supposed to go out with one of my plates. Just go and get a couple drinks, maybe dance a little. She changed the plans, insisting that her roommate come with us because she "would just be sitting at home alone". I think, well then I'll just walk into the bar with 2 girls, fine whatever.
She texts me an hour before we are supposed to leave. Now her friend "Aly", a slut who I have watched cheat on one boyfriend, dump both the boyfriend and the second guy, and who is with her new boyfriend "Tom" and another "friend" Colin, wants to come. they are too drunk to drive so I have to go get them.
I say no. We already made plans and changed them. I don't want to deal with her slut friend and her boy toys tonight (not what I said to her, but what I was thinking) and she said "they are coming whether you drive them or not". I say fine, if they want to drive drunk that's not my problem.
Now I am here. I'm about to leave for the bar by myself, to go hangout and see if I meet any cool people. I'm accustomed to going out alone so that's not a big deal in the slightest. I wanted to ask before I left, however. Could I have handled it better? How would some of you have reacted in that situation?
