I usually just ignore it when she talks about other men, celebs included. Any attention you give to it will feed into it.

Agree and amplify and switch to a topic or activity that interests you.

I also don't take women on dates to show off other guys, including actors, musicians, bartenders or athletes. I take women on dates that show me off.

'Twas about 20 years ago. We are sitting in the company cafeteria having coffee. We overhear a colleague [F-20s] talking to another colleague [M-20s] about a popular movie actor: Wesley Snipes. "... ooowww the muscles ... I'd do him in a minute ..."

The M in this dialog listens politely but finds reason to leave shortly thereafter. Sometime later I say to him, "I overheard your conversation with F-20s in the cafeteria." he acknowledges it. I ask if she scared him off. He responds with something to the effect: "She likes black men and is willing to fuck them. She is attracted to muscles. I'm brains. There is no reason to talk to her again."
