Now that summer is starting to come through I have been attending music festivals with different groups of friends.

Whomever I go with, I always end up (sometimes on purpose) losing my friends and forcing myself to entertain myself and meet new people. Over the course of months of developing myself and changing into an easy to talk with guy, things have been going pretty well. Most of the times I go out I meet tons of new people, laugh, have fun, and hook up with girls. No problems, right?

Last week I went to a festival with a friend. We jumped in on the fun and started talking with whomever. He ended up leaving earlier and I partied on for a few hours on my own, meeting almost everyone in a certain music area, talking a bit. The problem was that the girls were HB8+. More challenge, right? I must've had over 20 conversations with 20 different girls within 2-3 hours, escalating, having fun, a&a-ing shit tests, having fun, getting hugs when I didn't even ask for them. When the time came around to kiss, with the ones I had a fun conversation with, they denied me (about 6). Some saw me talk with other girls, some didn't.

The following thought crossed my mind: "Fuck, maybe they somehow think I'm creepy". Went outside to smoke a cigarette, talked with a girl for a few minutes (HB6) and k-closed her using the exact same tactics I previously used on the HB8s. Fucked off right after that because I now made it my mission to disregard the 6s and only move up from here.

My SMV is decent, when you see my body it is noticeable I lift. Full head of hair, jawline, 6'1 and a deep voice. Not trying to blow my own horn, but I'm not the kid with a weird mustache and fedora creeping up on girls thinking he's a pimp - the friends I go with tend to k-close, if not f-close, nearly every time we go to a party. Being with them ups SMV (and it's a fuckload more fun than hanging out with people that are afraid to dance/talk to girls).

What do you guys do to pick up girls at festivals? Perhaps I'm a bit too aggressive, since when I'm in the zone I feel like I'm friends with everyone, ask for a lighter and just strike up conversation. It works most of the time, but I want to get the feeling that I'm in control 100% of the time, instead of 75% of the time like now.
