I'll try to keep this short. New girl moved in on my floor, a few days later, I ask her to help me put up a poster in my apt (excuse really to talk to her, but it was a big poster). She tells me her name (unprompted) and she's going out with a girlfriend, but would like to do hang out or something sometime. I'm like ok, try to play it cool, so a week later, I knock on her door, ask her if she wants to go to this cool scotch bar with live music the next day. She invited me in and we chatted for a few min, seemed to be hitting it off. She's a new law student and she's got a ton to read, but says she'll probably want a break from studying and she'll let me know either way. She texts me the following day saying she'll have to skip going out to get all her reading done, but says "Raincheck?!" at the end. I'm like, all right, we'll do it some other time.

About a week later, I tell her I'm going to this cool art event where the artists showcase their work in this gallery while serving booze, and just say "let me know if you wanna come". She says yea, that sounds fun and she was planning on taking Fri off anyway blablabla, and then on Friday a few hours before texts me to basically say she's tired and has to wake up early tomorrow so she won't be coming.

So now I'm like f this, I'm done contacting her, if she wants to do something, she has my number. But part of me is like, maybe I'm overreacting, she probably is busy/tired (although, tbh, those are always bs excuses anyway), and me not giving any signs will probably result in her not contacting me, and I do want to see her. Suggestions?

(A bit more context, I recently moved here as well, and don't have that many friends to do shit with, was in a relationship before moving that I tried to make work long distance, but of course it crashed and burned. Have been trying okc without much success, so I'm in a sex craving mood to say the least).
