Long time lurker on theredpill. Thanks to all of you for encouraging me to get off my ass and be a better man. I do have a question or two though.
Currently in a LTR. She's great. Treats me well, smart, makes good money, good body and shes easy to deal with. Very low maintenance. Over the years I've done my own thing, if I see something/someone I want, I go after it... Because as Patrice O'Neil once said "your man don't need viagra, he need variety"
As a result of this we have a one sided open relationship. I go out and see other people if I want to, sleep with other people, whatever the case may be. She's loyal, over time its bothered her less and less, and we've actually grown closer and appreciate each other more because of it.
The issue I'm having lately is that I want to continue this, but have always gone the route of honesty. I'm fortunate to be tall, handsome, and my hair started going grey really early (which I hated senior year of high school but girls swoon over it now). When I meet someone new I say right away, "I'm in a relationship, I do this for fun, you're either in or you're out" (paraphrasing). I do this cuz part of me likes the honesty, it's easier to keep track of than lies, and I feel like it represents more of a "take it or leave it" attitude and abundance mentality. Some girls go for it, but a lot don't.
I should probably mention I usually meet girls on dating apps, I work nights and it's just easier to have a swipe session once a week and see what happens. But in your guys opinions, is there a better way to do this? I have the mentality of Pokémon for these girls. Gotta catch em all. But a lot of them obviously become turned off by the relationship, regardless of my looks or status or whatever. So my question is how do I improve? Is there a more effective method to finding plates while maintaining my current relationship? Thanks!
