Oof I dont know man. Anyone who says "I wanna be friends with the cool kids" never becomes friends with the cool kids because he tries too hard usually. Instead just lift, focus on improving yourself genuinely, be ambitious for your future and youll be noticed eventually by others as a cool guy. Become the one they want to be friends with.

But don't try to make people like you by force (by kissing ass) - I did that a lot in high school and I did end up knowing a lot of people but I had very actual friends and I gamed very few girls.
