Dead end jobs till I was 21 ->

get mediocre IT job ->

already reaping the benefits of this in my first year of new job

Fucking bitch high school guidance counselor said I was too dumb to do engineering.

Graduated with an engineering degree 4 years later despite being in a more competitive environment.

I am a self employed project manager. I take 6 month vacations every $100M of capital projects I deliver.

Was going to be a tradie until I realised how oversaturated the market for trades were in Australia. I also realised that I'd have to live in the middle of nowhere to even get a foothold on an area that didn't already have a million tradies competing with each other.

So I went to Uni at 22. I didn't go previously because I lived three hours away from the nearest university and I grew up in a poor single parent family, so I had location and financial issues which prevented me from ever going in the first place.

I studied cybersecurity for the first year, but I got good enough marks to switch over to computer science despite never having taken math in my old crappy little high school because it wasn't even an option.

Unfortunately, since I commute from a sharehouse, have to work on weekends and go to a university with a shitey nonexistent social scene, I'm still a virgin. I'm transferring to another university next year that has a better social club scene, so hopefully I'll actually get a social circle going in that one.
