Why should I try and form relationships and amass wealth when I'm happy without either?

It is. Why? We’re herd animals. Relationships are a necessity. You can cruise through life barely interacting with anyone but no man’s an island. Better to hone your social skills so you’re in control of interactions as opposed to subjecting yourself to them.

Put sex aside. Wealth = freedom. That’s all. Want to holiday in Goa? Go ahead. Want that life saving Chemo? Don’t mind if I do.

The main reason I chased wealth when I was younger was so I could have freedom of choice. Learning human nature; and how to benefit socially; was just a bonus along that path. Or choose to cruise through life with no control; it’s your call.
