When texting a girl, does every message need to be thought out so that it has masculine vibes to it or can the conversation be a regular one? For example, a girl that I haven't talked to in a while texted me "are you still alive?", what would be a good answer to that? I know I'm overthinking, but I'm just trying to figure out how I should approach texting girls in general.

Edit: I'm not trying to take this girl to bed, she lives far away and is just one of a few I text just to improve my texting skills.
