Alright, so definitly new to pick-up and all that shit, but i have been a lurker and have recently got out of a 3 year relationship, so i thought fuck yes time to try some pick-up. Advice would be appreciated.

So, i was chilling with my boys bout to smoke some blunts when one of my friends, Steve, says that there will be some females joining us. I though awesome, here we go some pick-up time. So, i meet her, i smile puff up my chest, i got a smirk, and i shake her hand tell her my name is "ihateporn5," but she doesnt look at me at the shake-up. She looked shy as fuck. So, the night continues and i try to engage in conversation by asking "what do you do." She says nothing and ignores me. We sit down, were in a group, and start smoking and shit iam still trying to talk to her but we were making small talk at most with almost no kino.

Here comes the controversial part. So its almost the end of the night. She kinda has a dry attitude towards me, but i caught some looks, so i decided that i was going to ask her for her phone number when i get dropped off at home. So, iam sitting there shaking up with the group, and as everyone is expecting me to leave the car i say "hey, can i have your number" and she gives it to me. A really awkward asking for the number, but it worked... i guess. Anyway i decided that i should text her and i said in the message "Hey i just wanna say i had an amazing night and want to thank you for contributing."
