You don't need to be closer to her, but you need to escalate on her, and fast.
The longer you wait, the more she will see you as a friend. Keep in mind though that this could mess up your work at the company and if it doesn't work out, one of you will probably leave the company.

Yeah, that's the main fact I don't escalate so fast, I am afraid to leave this company, this friend is very close to me and of two other guys too, so I escalate every time we see each other but the way others don't see it, but I know she understands that, I ve seen many times how she looked at me when I touched her and did some weird things. But the problem is that they are balancing at the edge with my friend, I just can't go further, the next step is a kiss for them, that's just the way they interact and there is no more area for me to escalate further because of their relationships

Ask your friend what the relationshio with her is and if it would be ok to ask her on a date. Case closed.
