I've got most everything down except for this. I know that you aren't supposed to let them know everything about you at once, but I'm so confident about who I am that I can't stand to keep secrets. I will give you an example. Somehow the conversation came up with a girl that she didn't want to die a painful death (bad conversation, but I decided to let it go forward because... I like deep subjects). My response (awful) was that I never wanted to be enslaved. Now here is where I knew that I could just say "It sounds awful," but instead I said what I think which was "well, with the fall of society the worst in human nature could come out, and we've done it before," and she abruptly changed the subject. Obviously not leading towards sex conversation, but it's still a hugely important subject to me. More important than sex, actually. So my question is, should I keep letting girls know that I'm worried about the future of mankind and wait for one who feels the same, or just keep it inside until later? How can I be myself without seeming like the bearer of bad news? Is there any way to bear bad news and still be attractive? I mean, I keep my battles with depression out of subject, I try to not mention the difficulties of the male sex drive, but I can't talk about the future like it's gumdrops and rainbows, and I don't like laughing it off. What do you guys do?
