You should tell females that you have it I would want someone to tell me first before having sex same as how you wished you would have known first before having sex with the female that gave it to you. It would only be fair.

Ya precisely thats your fking problem for not taking precautions on your part since you alrd knew u may have a chance of getting STD and it was definitely socially irresponsible of the girl as well. You claim that doctors say that there's no need to disclose and so be it since its not "wrong" but its socially irresponsible of you to not disclose your condition to whoever your sleeping with and its morally wrong, especially if you know you have it

u/AvryBarRouge - So I am suppose to let a non serious medical condition fuck up my dating life? Naw. There is no need. I can use protection now and take the other precautions and live a normal life as what many doctors recommend. Now, if this was HIV or something serious, absolutely.

u/displaynamechris - I nor you can not say by me asking it would have saved me from anything. Most people with HSV do not even know they have it.

That’s a pretty big thing to disclose. It’s not like a kink or whatever, it’s your health and if you’re trying to settle down with someone, that’s a sure fire way to breach their trust in you.
