Hey guys. I'm just going to put it out their, this is my first field report, so some parts aren't clear please let me know so I can improve for next time.

My celebrations began a bit later than usual. I had stayed over at my friends place, lets call him Bob, the night before and we were both slowly recovering from our 3rd of July celebrations. Our plan for the 4th was to head to one of Bob's friends places, his name is Michael, who had an open pad. When we arrived around 7pm, I saw that his place was awesome. This kid had it all. Comfortable couches, a big screen TV, a nice sound system, and best of all a balcony over looking the east river. At that point I knew it was going to be a fun night. We fired up the music, which was playing from his laptop that was hooked up to the TV and the sound system, and started to pregame and the few of us who where there were taking turns playing songs off of the web using the wireless keyboard and mouse stationed on the cofee table.After several rounds of pregaming drinks and a couple of J's, some of Michael's friends started coming in. It was a good balance of guys and girls and at this point I was feeling relaxed and in a good mind set. As they came in I made sure to stand up from the couch I was sitting on when I introduced myself, make good eye contact, a firm handshake, and after hearing anyones name I made sure to repeat it quite a bit in my head to help it stick. Naturally, after the introductions people began to spread out, get drinks and what not. As soon as there was space to open these girls, I went for it without hesitation. Throughout the night I was focusing on three completely different, attractive and interesting girls. Later, however, speaking to the girls individual became a challenge, as one of the two girls I wasn't speaking with at the time would come in and interrupt. Now when I say they came and interrupted the existing conversation, I mean they would physically come in and interrupt it. For example, while talking to girl #1, girl #2 would walk over, wrap her arms around my neck, look into my eyes and start talking about something else. Looking back on it, girl #2 was being pretty rude, but at the time I was loving the attention. Another time when I was chilling on the couch talking to girl #3, girl #1 would come in and squeeze in between us, which forced us apart and killed some of the attraction that was going on. Later, when talking to girl #3 on the couch, girl #1 came over to change the music. As I said before, the music was playing off of a laptop connected to the awesome setup of the apartment, and the keyboard and mouse were chilling on the coffee table. So girl #1 made her way over, clearly within my peripheral I might add, bent at the waist and proceeded to "change the music". Being the drunk, high, fool that I was, this took priority over whatever conversation I was having and it really didn't help that girl #1 was wearing tight denim shorts that night. Unfortunately, shortly after this one of my good female friends got sick from drinking too much and it was my duty to take her home as I was crashing at her place that night. I ended up leaving in too much of a hurry to make any number closes or anything, but I still had a great time. All in all, throughout the party it seemed like people were fighting for my attention and I felt like a million bucks. It may have been all the booze and bud, but that night I was able to stop second guessing myself, have fun, and go after the girls that I wanted. So seddit, what are your thoughts?

Tl;dr: Went to a 4th of July party at a friends awesome apartment. I ended up talking to three beautiful women who seemingly ended up fighting for my attention throughout the night. I had to leave in a hurry to take care of a sick friend and didn't get any number closes or anything.
