Intro
This month’s theme of Community touched on many subtopics, including Free Speech, Patriarchy, Teaching, and the Unfaithfulness of a Community. Many other authors around the sphere also wrote articles on these topics. There were a few responses, but others were by coincidence I believe.
Free Speech
‘Free Speech’ offers maximum value when it is regarded as a form of verbal self-expression, e.g. a confession, debate, discussion, exposition, teaching, testimony, etc., rather than a ‘right’. Free speech has the most liberty and power in small communities — groups of people who will actually care about what you have to say, and who will react and respond. This feedback loop also provides opportunities to test and refine what is being said, and thereby take advantage of The Law of Sowing and Reaping and The Law of Responsibility.

Patriarchal Community
The demand for various forms of authoritative structures, Patriarchy, and tribalism is slowly growing as a countersignal to the brutal excesses of Feminism / Progressivism / W0k!sm, but many of the proponents don’t know what they’re asking for, and when they do get a taste of Patriarchal normalcy, they balk and chafe and object.

Teaching
Teaching is a very important and central part of a community.

Vox Day’s Socio-Sexual Hierarchy
We also revisited Vox Day’s SSH, and considered how it is NOT (but could be) used as a tool for teaching, building community, and conducting ministry. This discussion is a culmination of several posts in the previous theme (included here).
