Love Grows Cold

While I was writing about The “Let’s Break Up” Sh!t Test (LBUST) and the motivations behind it, I gathered an important takeaway — that the LBUST game play is a tell-tale sign of an Avoidantly Attached woman.  Thus, social media being flooded with women playing the LBUST indicates that there is a mass proliferation of women with an Avoidant Attachment style.

research study by Konrath et al. (2014) indicates this is true. The percentage of people having an Avoidant Attachment style has more than doubled since the 1980s, and now stands between 20-25% of the population.  That’s huge!

In an earlier study, Konrath et al. (2011) reported that since 2000, there has been a drastic decrease in both empathic concern and a willingness to imagine other people’s points of view.

Burnette, et al. (2009) found a link between Avoidant Attachment and depression, which helps explain why more singles, especially single Feministas, are more unhappy than ever.

Further, Sagone et al. (2023) found that individuals who enjoyed stable close relationships reported higher levels of psychological well-being than singles, whereas singles were significantly more likely to have an Avoidant Attachment style and be uncomfortable with closeness.  They also found that psychological well-being could be fairly well predicted by one’s attachment style.  One other noteworthy point of interest is that people with healthy attachment and good relationships were confident individuals, whereas Insecurely Attached singles were stricken with a need for approval / validation.

In summary, having an Avoidant Attachment style strongly predicts singleness and unhappiness, which is exactly what comes of the LBUST.  None of this will be surprising to regular RP readers, except that the $c!eNt!$t$ got it right this time.

Avoidant America

Faith Hill, writing for The Atlantic, cited Konrath’s study in an article titled, America Is in Its Insecure-Attachment Era (2023/4/27) [Archive].  This article is worth reading for its description of Attachment Styles, a summary of Konrath’s research, and an overview of the general decline of trust in American society.  However, when reflecting on the possible causes for the rise in Insecure Attachment, she cites nearly every single hot-button issue purveyed by MGM and the PTB, including…

  • “Climate Change”
  • Career competition
  • Reduced social trust
  • War in eastern Europe
  • Faltering faith in institutions
  • Swipe interaction dating apps
  • The economy and financial pressures
  • Constant school shootings in the news
  • The socially disruptive conditions of formal education
  • Fewer marrieds and more singles, and more people living alone
  • An ambient feeling that society is falling apart, termed “precarity”
  • AI (ChatGPT?) threatening to transform jobs and upset job security
  • Social media and smartphones leading to less face-to-face interaction
  • And even “Boundaries”, of all things*

* Boundaries actually increase closeness and trust between Securely Attached individuals, whereas Boundaries are perceived to prevent intimacy among Insecurely Attached individuals.

I was almost exhausted by the end of Hill’s piece, so I wasn’t too disappointed that she failed to mention how immigration reduces social trust (as well as GDP) and how pandemic lockdowns isolated everyone.  Oh, right.  Those are Conservative views that mustn’t be mentioned.

Hill concludes by saying,

“It could be all of these things, some combination of them, or something else entirely. We can’t determine why people are putting up walls, growing further and further away from one another. We just know it’s happening.”

Well folks, gather ‘round, and Σ Jack will tell you why.

Broken Childhoods

That’s right.

One’s Attachment Style, including Avoidant Attachment, is not caused by social or environmental conditions in the present, as Hill and all the ‘experts’ she interviewed seem to think.  No.  It is a learned habit that originates from one’s upbringing.

Tracing this behavior further back to the causes of Avoidant Attachment, the rising prevalence of Avoidant Attachment means there are a lot of people (including women) who were not properly loved as children. Their parents were strict and emotionally distant; they did not tolerate expressions of feelings, and they expected their child to be Strong and Independent. (Where have we heard that before?)

Now, why would so many people have such a ratty childhood?  I’ll posit a guess that a large number of these people were neglected because of any combination of the following.

  1. Familial dysfunction in general.
  2. Growing up in day care while Mommy works overtime.
  3. Being used as an alimony / child support / citizenship anchor.
  4. The Effects of the Sexual Revolution on Female Sexuality, i.e. mothers.
  5. The absence of both parents exhibiting Headship and the glory of God within the home.
  6. Feminist mothers controlling them, consuming them, spoiling them, and distancing their Dads.
  7. Parents were feeding on a steady diet of Liberal Progressive lies, i.e. Chivalry, Churchianity, Disney, Feminism, romcoms, etc.
  8. Parental divorce, which effectively casts the children directly into an unescapable hell NOT of their own choosing or doing.  And BTW, parental divorce destroys sons’ confidence and ruins daughters’ commitment to marriage — or their BFs (plural), hence, the LBUST.

Overall, I’d say the increasing prevalence of Insecure Attachment, as well as the LBUST epidemic and all the broken lonely hearts that come of it, are a longitudinal fallout of The Sexual De-Evolution, The 15 Sirens of the Socio-Sexual Apocalypse, including No Fault Divorce laws, Feminism, specifically the SIW trope, and How Feminism Erodes Marriage, all of which have led to a relationship-breaking number of dysfunctional families and mucked up kids who grow up to create yet another generation of debased dip$h!tz.

There you have it.  That’s real gynocratic civnattery for you.

This is why Modern Women Have No Game.
