1	The holy trilogy There are also FTF sales which don’t require a 4473. She could’ve bought it from her dad for all we know. It’s legal and any state laws that try to prevent it are practically unenforceable, which I’m sure you know. If it was a FTF sale, then the seller shares the blame, ESPECIALLY if he knew she was unstable. 3	The holy trilogy Are you thinking of ATF Form 4473. It’s the little questionnaire form the FFL makes you fill out before running the NICS check and making the sale/transfer.
