| 4 | 27 yrsI appreciate all the advice and info guys. It helps to have a group of people who have been in the same situation to lean on and get advice. Some days are better than others. I woke up today feeling rested and mentally focused. Daughter's wedding is tomorrow and I'm ready for it. As a side note, I have not had any alcohol in at least 4 weeks. | 1 | 27 yrsI knew that my drinking could get out of control so I made it a point to tone it down. My support structure so far has been a couple close friends who have also went through a divorce. I also have a life long friend who is a pastor now and he has been invaluable. He checks up on me daily and tries to keep me motivated to stay the course and get better.
