Honestly I'm suprised at all the feed back and support. I really didn't expect that. This one post made me feel better at the decision to cut most everyone out of my life. I've been dealing with depression and he hasn't been there at all. After reading all the supporting comments kinda made it feel like I'm not alone. The last couple days instead of sitting watching the same rerun after rerun I started to play my guitar again. Play some new video games. I genuinely am feeling better. Ignoring th…

I worked at a retirement center. I can tell you the dude always dies first. And the women? Fucking devastated. But you have understand they had been together for 60 years and were probably the only partners they had. Going into my 40 I got 2 friends been together since 16. My employees is turning 22 and been with his gf since 16 as well. It's probably not going to be as common today I don't think. That's why I'm not sure we should be encouraging young people to think like adults. We been thru th…

First of they are both your elders so don't be disrespectful and tell them to stfu. Instead try explaining how it makes you feel uncomfortable and you would rather not hear it. You always get a better reaction out of anyone when you're respectful. Never lie. Never get into a habit of lying. This subreddit frowns on women who lie so how better are you if you lie to your parents. That being said your parents are in the wrong. My brother broke up with his wife and to this day they still use the chi…

Yup. Had this buddy. We would game together like 4~5 times a week. He got engaged now we haven't gamed since. He acts like he's more of an adult because of reasons. "I really don't like to play video games any more" no joke this is what he said. I don't care I like video games and if after a 9 hour work day if I want to light up and play some red dead fucking ye haw.

Think to yourself. Why would it matter if you live in a house vs apartment? Could it be that a house typically cost more? Run dude.... fucking run

Yeah was going to say the same thing. Have a little out burst that I can give a pass, everyone's lost their cool at some point. But to go back that's aggressive. I kinda doubt this story is true.

This happened 10 years ago. She got some other dude to get her knocked up. They got married and last I heard they are no longer together. Like I said I'm the luckiest dipshit

Yeah I've seen the movie but at the time it had been a few years and I simply forgot about that. But to be fair I'm pretty much just as clueless

Wait, hold up. "If you didn't want to pay, you shouldn't have started a family" So what this is saying only men can start a family. Isn't that sexist?

I'm getting winded just looking at this. It's harder to walk thru snow like that than it is to run on sand. Nice pic op

I'm wondering the same thing. One advantage I can think of is if you go camping after the rain you won't have to pitch a tent on mud. But a disadvantage is not having your roof if you have a kayak or anything like that. I'm curious on conveniences if it's more or less than a regular tent. When I go camping I like to use my car to go find hiking spots or launch my kayak. This dude looks like he drove out to the middle of no where and is posting up. I guess it depends on what sort of camping you d…

All this post dose is remind me on how not having kids=best decision of my life. No kids no wife=drunken Amazon purchases of a crossbow leads to having fun of firing a crossbow at cans. Because fuck beer cans. Die beer cans! PSA 180lb is a lot of force a crossbow while fun to shoot well piss drunk is still not a toy.

K so there's a lot to unpack here. I agree it's strange for a 16yo to do this but it probably didn't happen the way you got it in your mind. Generations ago in the west it was common to ask the hand of a women for marriage. If you didn't get the condolences from the dad you couldn't marry his daughter. I had a similar situation. I was 19 and dating my 1st gf. Dads in the west seem to be more concerned with not hitting their little girl rather than their little girl being a whore. I was told that…

Being from California I kinda wonder if these fires are blown out of proportion like they are here. Cal fire is so incompetent. Think of it every year there's fires all over California and every year cal fire is caught off guard. For fuck sake we have to borrow planes from Washington. No joke. We no longer do control fires. I personally lived thru one of the deadliest fires California has ever seen. And yes it was bad and yes premature death isn't cool. But the news just went ape shit with it. I…

Wait isn't this social media? I get your point though and there's very much truth. I never thought about it but you're right. I know this one chick who is at least 50lb over weight and has a face of maybe 2/10. But the way she takes her pictures with these filters you would never know.

9 out of 10 for your girls friends want to fuck her. The other dude? He's gay. I told one of my gf that I didn't like her hanging out with this one dude because he wanted her. "No he doesn't we're just friends" 2 months later she's fucking him.

I love animals cats included. But out apartment building didn't allow it. This is why I didn't want the cat. It was my first apartment, I wanted to follow the rules. It's like the rules didn't apply to her. She had no understanding or concept of responsibility.

Oh it gets better. A movie came out called "along came polly" so guess what she wanted. I did not want a ferret at all but she kept pushing and pushing. I was already super nervous about the cat. Finally the blue kicked in and I was like "fine but only if it stays in its cage unless you're playing with it. You clean the cage." So we go out of state to get this damn thing and cost like $150. So one day I get home see the cage open look at her, she's sitting on the computer. I ask "hey where's the…

I would go but it's a 10 hour flight and just had my car totaled. It's really money. $500 plane ticket $500 motel. Renting a car. All said and done it's going to cost me almost $2000. That's literally half of what I planned on putting down for a new car.

She makes more than him. I told him he should get a prenup just incase of kids and things, don't want to become the weekend father. He laughed at me. Basically said I was a moron for even suggesting.

The wedding is going to be lopsided as hell too. Non of his original friends is going to be there. Her side of the isle is going to spill over to his side. No who's going to replace me as best man (a friend for 20 years)? A friend under of 10 years who had his dick sucked by his ex. Yup you read right his new best man will be the dude who his ex cheated on with. Another reason why I'm not going. I hate any dude messing around with another dudes girl (knowingly) you just don't do that.
