The adequacy of compensation is a big concern imo. I’ve come across many cases where it wasn’t enough. Just like with every other kind of crime towards men/women theres a big room for improvement in how we deal with false accusations. I think the point of a harsh punishment is to discourage ppl from committing similar crimes in future , which is where the system fails I think. I think the false accuser isn’t dealt with as efficiently as the system should.
