Horoscopes are also very general. There's a reason for that too. People are introverted or extroverted based on their moods, feelings, and a lot of other factors. Put me around a bunch of idiotic drunkards I'm introspective because I can't talk to them. Put me around some logical and well spoken speakers and I'm a chatty Cathy. As far as I know there's no science to prove the Meyers Briggs does anything a horoscope doesn't. Still waiting for more than "I feel _____" responses. Those that claim i…

Thank you. I'm so confused as to the amount of defense this is getting.

I'm saying from a scientific standpoint for this system to be valid it should be able to predict outcomes in some way. A good model of personality types should be able to predict behaviors. Consider criminal psychology and how it can assist in catching criminals. This system does not predict any behaviors from any sources I've seen. But hey, prove me wrong with evidence and I'll admit I'm wrong

The problem is humans are not so psychologically simplistic as to categorize them based on this sort of criteria. Too many things can affect our mood which alters our "personality" type. A little alcohol and inhibitions drop. A little stress and again were different. This system was created by two women and it's about as useful and accurate as you'd expect from anything in the 1940s. It's pervasive but it's scientific validity is highly questionable. Remember there was a guy who hooked up a lie …

Tanning isn't critical, just an update to your clothing can do a lot. Dress for success all that bs. Consider what kind of impression you want to make meeting new people/women. I grew up hating suits but damn if professional attire doesn't improve your looks. Maybe there are hair styles that would fit you, see a barber maybe if you don't wanna shave. Confidence goes a long way too, and you'll only have that by putting yourself out there.

I was expecting hobbit level ugly. Honestly you just need a change of style, some sun, and muscle mass. I feel you on the balding thing, I'm 34 and keep my hair really short for the same reason. There are just things we can control and things we can''t. You're not as bad off as you think just change it up brother.

Seriously, how old are you? In the adult world you don't stir shit like that without risking your neck. People are responsible for themselves, halfback gave the dude fair warning about what he was doing and was ignored. Using his examples, a verbal confrontation in the workplace risks your job. A physical altercation risks your freedom (jail) and your job. Helping him to keep his job isn't his responsibility either. Consider the options, the maneuvering he did was masterful.

Don't think you should have got a ban for it... but maybe something to do with their forums agreements? Dunno would have to explore their reasoning behind the ban to really know.

Right, biology regarding chromosomes? There isn't a separate way biology determines gender that I'm aware of. I meant it is societal bias because we cannot "see" someones chromosomes. So we base gender on visual traits we can observe, Adams apple, muscle structure, facial structure etc. To my knowledge no drugs will change a persons chromosomes but if there is only male or female what are all the individuals with chromosome abnormalities? I'm questioning how "we" determine gender to begin with. …

I understand what you're saying, but you're talking about how we or "society" deems the gender of someone. But if society/culture can determine the gender of someone why can't the individual also? If you wanna go off genetics, chromosomes, someone with XY is "genetically" male or "XX" female. But then what are "XYY" males, females, or a third gender? Same for XXY, XXX etc. But when we talk about gender as a society or culture are we really basing that on genetics or our individual beliefs and id…

One I base on knowledge on psychology and brain chemistry... if you wanna argue this use evidence to support your claim that it's "just a feeling"

It's not feelings though, it's the psychology of the brain... they didn't just wake up and decide to be women/men gender identity is ingrained from an early age. If I lost my penis i'd still identify as a man but the chemistry in my brain controls that... completely rewire it and i'd probably feel different.

IDK believe what you want theres a lot of evidence to support that gender identity is hard wired... which means someone can be born with one organ and infact feel a different gender. Plenty of examples out there regarding it, disagree with it all you want but I tend to put weight into psychology on this subject. Reference - http://transascity.org/the-transgender-brain/

Part of why I ask is that I saw a post the other day regarding single moms, limited value kinda bashing them in general for poor life choices. The guy made a decent argument about it but I had to ask myself genders reversed am I in the same "untouchable" territory as the hypothetical he put forth.

I know there is a strong connection to mood and the outdoors. You may consider spending a bit of that free time walking/exercising outside while listening to your audio choices. I can tell you from my own experiences up to now (33) if you can't keep a positive mood you'll have trouble keeping motivated to do anything. Having a lot of responsibilities can quickly overwhelm you, again speaking from experience, but finding a healthy way to de-stress would be the best take away. GL Sir

New to TRP myself but general advice repetition builds confidence, take a chance, fail and get brushed off until you start doing it right. Don't be afraid to fuck things up it's unlikely shes the last "hot girl" you'll like.

That's good to hear I know she is soon to reach the age of questions and she's gonna have to face some hard truths about her mom in her teenage years.
