If you think men are losing half of their stuff during divorce, go talk to actual divorce lawyers. Women are lucky if they even get enough child support to take care of his children. My aunt is currently going through divorce, gave him 3 boys and US citizenship. He’s declaring bankruptcy on his real estate development company, pining after college aged women, and her divorce attorney is saying most women barely get anything through this process.

No, it’s now more difficult for adult men to consistently get away with sexually abusing teens. “Research also shows pregnant teenagers typically suffered chaotic homes and childhood abuses. Girls who, in politically sanitized parlance, “initiate” sex before age 15 overwhelmingly had been victims of rape. A large majority of the impregnators of school-age girls are adult men, not school-age boys. Interestingly, teenage motherhood was perfectly acceptable before 1960, when men age 20 and older fa…

As a woman, I felt this. I don’t want to be the default parent for an entire family’s needs like I’ve seen in a majority of households.

In theory this makes perfect sense given how two men would better be able to navigate the world than constantly having to be the provider and protector of the physically weaker partner. I feel the biggest issue against this is the constant stigma around same sex partners. The constant remarks and put downs are enough to steer most from not expressing their preferences or even doing it in secret. I think another issue is that men prefer imbalanced partnerships. Women are taught from a young age h…

I believe most men like the thought of having children for the sake of their legacy, baby trapping a woman, or pressure to have children by their family for a multitude of reasons. I don’t believe they want to actively care for them after they’re born and just expect the default parent to do it.

Would you punish women for leaving when their partner starts beating them after having children? A lot of women become single mothers when fathers become dangerous or incompetent. Again, outside the moms control as people change all the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/24 06:09 AM

Women don’t actively choose to become single parents as raising children alone is difficult. If she had children with a man, it’s because she saw the potential for a long term relationship or else she’d abort. No one can accurately gauge at the beginning of the relationship and even years into being with the person if they’ll be a dead beat. It’s only up to the parent to decide and even then it’s out of the other parents control as people change with time and experience. We shouldn’t punish the …

If we had more people like you shaming deadbeats like you do with single mothers, who stayed to provide for their children, we wouldn’t have so many fatherless households. But of course, it’s always easier for you to blame the women than have to upset your buddies or get beaten by these men for being so disrespectful. I bet you’re also angry at women for the current dating market and declining birth rates when comments like yours discourage women from even trying to start their own families.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/24 05:33 AM

It doesn’t, I agree, with what you said for the dating market. But in simpler terms, it’s just first impressions, which applies to all people alike- Old men, young women, kids, etc. You take any person out, for the first time, to eat at a nice place and that’s a good way for them to gauge your finances and manners.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/24 05:12 AM

It’s just first impressions. Anyone would be more interested and have a better impression of the person who took them out to eat in a nice place over the person who took them out to coffee for their first meeting.

From experience, yes. This will apply to the majority looking for specifically freshly legal teenagers. Despite what many think, an 18 year olds brain does not magically turn into that of an adult. They’re more financially vulnerable and inexperienced to not see the red flags like older women would. Theres also no reason for older men to find anything in common with a kid who just got out of high school and is not even old enough to drink. I assure you, these type of people would go younger if t…

At 18 and even younger, I had a bunch of predatory men who were significantly older than me trying to groom me. Lots of older women have this experience from their teen years and it’s when you’re around the same age as those predatory men that you realize just how inappropriate their behavior is and why they do it.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 12:05 PM

Can’t believe I had to scroll this far to see this point brought up. I thought OP had been actively chased, followed, or had a car full of men stop to ask him if he wanted a ride like I or most of my female friends have experienced while walking alone at night. The only men I’ve actually witnessed be mugged/ beaten were homeless or hung out with the wrong crowd unlike the women I know who were just walking home.

Both genders are still held to a certain standard on gender roles. The difference is that nowadays women are significantly more socially pressured to uphold those standards than men. For example, we call women who participate in hook up culture as sluts and made fun of while men are excused to do the same thing. While men are considered simps for continually paying for their dates because women make money. Men get all the benefits, a woman who is socially pressured to remain pure/ loyal to famil…

BS. This is the best time for men in regard to our modern gender roles. Nowadays women are expected to split all the financial bills in half with the man while they birth, raise, and take over 80% of the household responsibilities. This doesn’t even account for the rising number of fatherless households where men are straight up abandoning their gender roles now that social norms have become even less constrictive for men.

You’d be eliminating more than half of the female dating pool. Men are vile and all of the assaults that happen are out of the victim’s control.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/24 03:51 AM

Definitely not immoral but it heightens the risk of a man just walking away and leaving the woman to deal with all the responsibilities of child rearing. If a man isn’t even willing to commit to you through legal means before the child is born, why do women believe he’ll have the morals to support his family if there are no legal or social consequences set in place for his actions?

You’re not a misandrist, I’d say this sentiment is pretty common. It’s hard to trust men when most women and even men have negative experiences with the demographic. In fact, I’d say you’re ahead of the curve for completely ignoring a relationship with them until you’re ready as most women will experience sa, domestic violence, molestation, etc at one point in their life so it’s better to delay it. Even being friends with men is tricky and don’t get me started on being left alone with men with a…

Indirectness applies to both genders. For men it’s just excused as them not being able to open up because they’re men. And men can’t have feelings. Although both genders tend to express indirectness differently with women verbally being passive aggressive and men shutting down until they explode.

In my experience of going out to party, this is unfortunately not true. A drunk woman will more than likely be targeted by men who will take her away to rape if she has no friends to keep her safe or “cock block” in your mind.

I’ll go against the grain and say that most men are predators when given the chance. The thing is that with modern society enabling people to not be as reliant on one another and women often being told that all men are predators. It means that most women have their guards up at all times so the majority of men don’t get the chance to act on their desires nowadays. It’s no coincidence that a good chunk of rape cases happen while a woman is unconscious because she can’t fight back, with a partner …

After Roe v Wade was established in the US, crime dropped to 17.5% and saw a 1% decline per year thereafter. It’s no phenomenon that a more productive society full of people who actually have a choice in wanting to have kids would lead to an overall happier and more cooperative society.

The men on here want to act like implying that the woman, carrying their child, might’ve cheated is nothing to be outraged about. Imagine, in the middle of a relationship, your partner does a background check and asks for your ex’s number to ensure that you would never abuse her when you haven’t given her any reason to suspect abuse, wouldn’t be just as outraged because of the implications.

Men’s loneliness epidemic is a man’s issue. Why don’t they turn around to help and talk to each other instead of blaming women for not doing it for them?

You’re completely right. You’re just not going to get the morally right responses from an anonymous sub that complains about womens sexual tendencies while excusing their own hypocritical beliefs. Yes. You’re 24 and in a wacky point in your life because you’ve most likely transitioned from college student to the adult work force. Meaning you’re no longer in the demographic of meeting many people under 22 but you are now surrounded by people 22+. That gives you limited options as people tend to partner up with others in the 2+- age range but you most likely feel young and inexperienced to the older women, 24+, when you’ve barely fledged as a full adult. You can try meeting women 22-24 year…

It doesn’t matter what women do, men will always find a way to objectify them. Islamic women covered from head to toe, little girls, vegative women are objectified and attacked despite not doing anything that will warrant it. Through personal experience, even wearing baggy clothing with no makeup and hair in a mess hasn’t deterred men from catcalling or groping me. Objectification will stop through the reformation of male attitude towards women.

A person never stops learning. So if much older women and fathers are telling 18 year old women that a 25+ year old man is wrong for trying to hit on them, then there is a justified reason for it. I was 18 at one point and didn’t realize how wrong it was for much older men to be hitting on me until years passed and I gained some perspective. You’re right. I interpreted this post wrong and didn’t think op meant a boy with criminal tendencies. I had a different definition of bad boy in mind which deviates from what this post narrates.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/23 09:09 PM

Definitely not. Disney has shows where being the popular kids meant hanging around the bullies and dating the jocks because there’s a hierarchy. Typically this type of aggressive behavior tends to escalate but I wouldn’t define bad boys as abusive aholes. What you described is domestic abuse.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/23 04:29 PM

This would’ve applied to me in high school when I thought it was cool because I saw it on Disney. Being in college now, this type of behavior would physically repulse me and make me lose respect for the person. I can’t imagine any grown women finding this cute.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/23 06:05 AM

That’s because women also face their own difficulties when dating that the men on here refuse to acknowledge. Your post is asking people to sympathize and acknowledge that victims of earthquakes have it worse than victims of hurricanes when both are tragedies.

This is not a female teacher issue as much as it is a justice system flaw. Less than one percent of rape perpetrators get any legal repercussions in which 90%+ of these perpetrators are male.

Yes, I’m in college and so many women are opting out of relationships. They talk about growing old with their pets or female roommates if they don’t find an adequate relationship to be in. It seems that finding a male companion is becoming less of a priority like having kids because it’s more trouble than it’s worth for all the reasons op stated above.

With our current economy, men and women have to take up the provider role. However, women in general take up more shares of the provider role in the aspect of maternal and financial care.

This is what I was thinking. Women have to work and earn money as well so I don’t understand what the point of this post is. Even better yet, they’re more resourceful with their money hence, the reason why women are more likely to own a house.

I wouldn’t call men expendable as much as both genders having different biological capabilities. I think most people outside of Reddit would agree that sending women out to physically fight in wars is a bad idea. Most women wouldn’t be able to haul their male companions much less win in a physical fight against one man. Plus, they’d be treated like war spoilage being gang raped and trafficked. Then, their women would bear innocent, unwanted children whose heritage is intertwined with the enemy’s…

From personal experience, I can tell you women are not embellishing. If you have female friends, I suggest you go ask them about their experiences. All of them will tell you a story. You can even ask your mom or sisters if you don’t converse with women since the most understanding men I’ve met regarding these issues are those who have multiple female companions.

The average woman isn’t assaulted by Cosby. And yet all women I know have been assaulted, harassed, or made uncomfortable by various men.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/23 07:53 PM

This is very hard to believe because many women have experience harassment by a group of men proving that it is not selective as much as cultural. Have you heard stories where hundreds of men team up to rape women when given the opportunity or of sex trafficking? Because I personally know many women who were raped by a man and their buddies encouraged it or did nothing.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/23 07:51 PM

Was going to comment this. How is 5-10% reasonable when every woman I know has been harassed, sexually assaulted, or had some uncomfortable experience with a man. I mean, I and many others have experienced so many uncomfortable behaviors from men who have no prior track record or give off creep vibes until given the opportunity. Not only that, but it’s scary how disproportionate violence against women is when reading subs like r/creepyencounters.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/23 04:52 PM

It’s a combination of biological strength and societal influence leaning more towards the social aspects. I mean if we look towards poverty stricken neighborhoods, we’ll see a lot more violent cases committed by men. As opposed to men from well off areas who are more likely to commit other non violent crimes. As for rape, if there is any opportunity to rape a woman, I believe 50%+ of men will take it and it goes up to 90%+ especially if it is done as a group.

Everyone can agree that men in general are more horny. My question is whether their higher horniness levels are attributed to biological or social factors. If sex with women weren’t so celebrated amongst men and make them look powerful in their social circle, would they be trying to have so much of it? Would shaming men for having sex with women like they shame men for being gay decrease their biological libido?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/23 07:38 AM

If you zero options for food, wouldn’t you consider eating the worm or even blades of grass if it came to that point? I mean you’re not just going to let you body starve, at some point you’ll be looking for available alternatives.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/23 07:33 AM

My argument is that men in general are hornier than women. But I am trying to differentiate whether their higher horniness levels are due to a biological or social factor. For example, if sex with women wasn’t so celebrated and looked favorably amongst men, would they be trying to have so much of it? Would their sexual libido just be a bit higher than women’s if it weren’t so celebrated and seen as peak chadness or would it drop if they were shamed and called sluts like women are for having sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/23 07:30 AM

You made a sound argument. Sex is both psychologically and biologically driven meaning men can control themselves to all extents. It’s society that has made up excuses and perpetuated the notion that men can’t control their horniness. Which has unfortunately made them feel unaccountable for their actions. Men won’t feels as horny over the woman who everyone knows has riden the cock carousel because society has labeled them sluts. But will simp over the “pure” woman with a supposed small body cou…

I should’ve added why don’t “more” men fuck each other. Gay and bisexual men exist. Because a lot of people tend to perpetuate the notion that men are endless black holes of sexual libido. This seems to ring true for women who are constantly pestered by sex requests from men and the endless cases of rape, paying for sex, etc that society seems to just accept because men are “simply more hornier.” This thinking doesn’t make sense to me since men mainly go after women for sex but will refuse sex f…

If this were true then why don’t more men fuck each other? If someone is starving, they’ll eat just about anything so why do men refuse to hook up with other men with similar libidos? There surely has to be a psychological or societal, besides biological reason, why most men choose to only engage with women for casual sex. If they were truly hornier and looking so badly for one night stands, wouldn’t they start looking towards other men instead of women, drunk men and women, or children? I’m gen…

If that were true then the age of sexual consent would be legally increased until marriage. Now really think about why immature 18 yr olds who can legally drive and are as “rational” as you believe are not allowed to drink at that age by the government? The reason why our democracy even had to set a consent limit is because we recognize how easy it is to take advantage of a young person and as a large majority can recogniz…

Why do you think the legal drinking age is 21 in the US? As far as I know, DiCaprio and porn with supposed 18 yr olds have been hugely criticized. I think they’re both awful and depict the wrong idea to desperate lonely men. I’m in my early 20 and know I definitely hold the power to manipulate some 18 yr olds. You’re either in denial or don’t have basic persuasion skills. Vulnerable people like those who are 18 are one of the large demographics to fall victims to scams or abuse.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/23 09:38 PM

What would you think if your 18 yr old daughter/ sister/ niece brought a 30+ yr old home? Society holds each other to social norms because we wouldn’t want someone messing with our own family. Like how we dissuade murdering or stealing because we wouldn’t want one of our relatives to be the victim of that crime if it were normalized. Most of the times, majority rule is favorable and considered common sense.

I’m in my early 20s and most of my similar aged peers find it disgusting to date a man significantly older. We understand it’s predatory and so do older women because they’ve also been 20 at one point and would be pestered by those predatory men. Older women could care less about these older men being swept away by 20 yr olds since they’re not even looking for relationships to begin with at their age according to statistical evidence. Even if it is junk science, its still available research explored which is more than what most men have on here who argue for dating 18 yr olds. They don’t have any statistical evidence to back themselves up because most people don’t agree on dating people under 25 when you’re 30+. Its also considered true for many because it confirms many people’s bias on how anyone under 25 is not developed because they’re still in the schooling stage.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/23 06:46 PM

That’s because development is not a linear path, it’s a stage process. From 18-22/24 most people are in college, wearing their backpacks, and coming home to their parents after a long day at school. The government can grant them many adult authorities as they are of majority age but that doesn’t take away the fact that at this stage they’re out and about partying and living up their finances/ life youthfully with their classmates. This stage is vastly different from someone 25+ who has most like…

One of the reasons why that age is referred to so much is because many men do not care about common sense when it benefits them but will back off a bit when you bring up studies done. You can tell them that to most of American society it feels unethical to date someone as young as 18 because they do not have the same life experiences as a 30 yr old. Nope I’ve seen, heard, and read too many stories of these women going after older men for their resources and then going home to fuck their similar aged partner. Women aren’t attracted to older men just their wallets and once it runs dry they quickly disappear. The average age gap is 2.3 years statistically speaking.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 01:50 AM

There are too many cases where older male figures abuse girls below the age of consent. You’d be surprised to know how many women have been molested/ raped by step fathers/ grandfathers/ etc and they’re the same men who would go after 18 years olds if the could. Going after an 18 year old when you’re 25+ is something only mentally ill people do who use the power dynamic to their advantage.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 01:42 AM

Statistics show young women are having the least amount of sex in all history. Also those hot women are not going after significantly older men unless they’re mentally ill or sugar babies who exchange only companionship for expensive gifts which are not common. The majority of women I know though are planning for a future by themselves if they don’t find their ideal man who obviously doesn’t look and perform like a prune.

This was the norm in biblical times and now in less developed countries who don’t have a legal consent limit or don’t take it seriously. There are also too many cases where older males figures like step fathers or grandfathers abuse girls below the age of 18 because it’s easier to get away with. Animals by nature have instincts to kill and breed without any rational thought as to why they’re doing it. This is vastly different to humans who are more complex and can communicate what they want. Honestly, observation. I’m in college and the majority of women I know are in situationships that I know they would define as a relationship. I however do know some women but to a lesser degree who date older guys, are lesbians, or sugar babies.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/23 09:36 PM

What statistics or who said men hit their looks peak around 28? Post wall/ peak is only a concept Reddit men invented to make themselves feel better about women not choosing to be in relationships with them when they were younger.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/23 09:25 PM
3

Love how you excluded the “by nature” part because it didn’t benefit your argument. The age of consent currently ranges from 16-18 in all states and it is morally reprehensible by society to go below 18. You also forgot to mention how you find it repulsive to have any of your female relatives be considered breedable by men like you.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/23 09:21 PM

But they do exist and contribute to why more women are in relationships as being a lesbian has become more acceptable. However the large majority fall in the other categories I listed.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/23 08:58 PM

No because they’re at different stages of their life and would be determined an outcast if their social circle, which they probably don’t have if they’re going after an 18 yr old, were to find out.

No they’re sharing men their age, unclear on their relationship status or gay.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/23 08:03 PM

That’s why I specified that this circumstance ONLY pushes a power dynamic because no one of significant age is pursuing a relationship with an 18 yr old because they genuinely “just like them.”
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/23 07:55 PM

Statistically speaking, the average age gap relationship is around 2 years. Currently, women wanting much older men is something only the media portrays and redditors fall for.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/23 07:47 PM

This is why humans developed higher thinking and have set limits against messing with those below 18. You’re no animal by nature and know better than to rape a “breedable” 12 yr old because we developed communication skills. Your argument falls flat because I’m sure you wouldn’t want a 30 year old raping your “breedable” female relative.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/23 07:40 PM

Most women are checking out. Men are stressed by the lack of competition and go after 18 yr olds who aren’t as experienced.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/23 07:34 PM
2

They don’t want 18 yr olds because they go through less trauma, they want them because they’re too young to understand how much of a loser the guy is and are more free to abuse them. This is why it is so common for men to go after women with bad familial ties, drunk women, and step daughters/ children.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/23 07:28 PM
7

This is a problem because most of the people who would date 18 year olds are the same ones who would argue for dating 12-17 yr olds if it were legal. The thing that attracts them is not the looks of the individual but the inexperience of the person which leads to a power dynamic and is similar to pedophilia. I’m in my early 20s and 18 yr olds look like children to me so I don’t understand how people older than me can even entertain the idea of going after a person who’s barely entered the adult …

I’m just adding perspective to her statement since I’m sure everyone’s been noticing the decline in sexual relationships between young people- making her statement biased. Nope. I’m in my early 20s and she’s right about the part where many young women don’t want men anymore. Even though I know friends who are in committed partnerships with men, there’s more young women I know who are planning on growing old and single with their animals.

It’s morally wrong because everyone knows that those types of people would go lower in age if they were not legally bound. An 18 yr old has nothing in common with a 30 yr old just like a 12 yr old has nothing in common with an 18 yr old despite the smaller age difference. The people that say “who cares” would absolutely not allow their child to be in a relationship with someone 10+ years their senior at 18 so why pretend like it’s not an issue.

Did your parents not beat your sisters when they went out of line? My parents are of a conservative mindset and they would beat us all equally if we went out of line. Men do the majority of crimes due to their poor emotional regulation over logical reasoning. Find your spouse cheating? Statistics show men are more likely to kill one of the perpetrators. Emotional decisions are something men are just as capable of committing but society doesn’t deem anger/ violence to be as irrational as displaying weaker emotions …

I disagree with this. The reason why women make up the most numbers in lower paying jobs is not because they don’t work like men but rather because society saddles them with the majority of household responsibilities. It’s been studied that young women tend to make significantly more money than their young male counterparts. Why? Because most young women aren’t married, have kids, or elderly parents to care for so they work even harder than men. Nowadays, women are opting out of these household …

Women only need men when men are violent. Fortunately, we now live in a society that doesn’t force women to be with violent men. Now women are better taught to avoid men altogether and carry weapons for self defense as to avoid having to rely on other men for protection. This is where the sexless issue is arising from and why modern women are happy to be living a single, happy, and fulfilling life where men aren’t an issue unless you surround yourself by them. Difficulty in food intake is psychological as much as it is genetic. Men wouldn’t have fits of anger if they weren’t socialized to be so aggressive and have that equate to being a man. Under the right upbringing, most men don’t lash out and assault unless there is a need to like most people. However, when they’re raised in communities where fighting is the norm, both men and women take part. Testosterone isn’t necessary.

Most of our presidents have been over 6ft in height for a reason. Freedom of expression vs my child having a high probability of being raped are two different things. I might be projecting for the reasons stated above. However, I also know plenty of men including my own family members and friends that would definitely object because of how high stakes it is. If you wouldn’t want to see your children/ loved ones prostituting themselves, then don’t advocate for its legality.
