I was pretty stoked. I wasn’t disappointed at all. I think she was trying to say that because someone looks good doesn't mean that she will like him. She would like the less attractive guy that asked her out rather than the good looking guy who didn't do anything.

That's not the point. Maybe she has or maybe she hasn't but the point is that she wants a man who believes in himself and has the guts to approach her. If she approaches him then why would she even like him? I don't think that's a double standard. She probably has no problem approaching.

You have to change your thoughts. There is no reason to be negative. It's not sad to not have any female friends or not come close to being with one. That's kinda bazaar because what if I am a professional baker or pastry chef? What if I just like to bake for fun and share with anybody? Thanks for your opinion. But, to be honest I have literally no experience with women and I have the lowest self confidence of any person. She probably knows this but still she gives me chances. Even if this doesn't work out it is still a learning experience and it will help me in the future.

First of all I don't think I blew it. Secondly we play in a band, it's not just a friendship. It's literally just the two of us and we create music together.
