So me and the ex had split with her as primary. I was paying her child support also. Well that only lasted about 6 months. Now I have full custody and she pays me child support. Since then me and the kids have moved across the country. So from what I have been told by my attorney and read online. Unless you fuck up you are fine. The court isn't going to take the kids out of a happy healthy home because she wants custody. Just make sure you are doing everything you need to. Including Dr appointme…

So I'm now 26 was was dealing with a similar situation as you when I was you age also with 2 kids. If she is really dateing people she's done. you need to get every shred of evidence you can for the evinatabel divorce and custody battle.

There are child support calculators online that get pretty close. But make sure you enter everything you can

Dude if she’s seeing someone else and you are married and living together. You need to catch her. Then you will owe her very little or nothing and get the kids

How old are the kids?

There are a lot of factors that go into what you pay she works at the daycare they attend so that helps me but she makes 7.50 a hour and that’s what makes it so much. If she made more per year it would go down but if she worked at McDonald’s or something it would be more. At least that’s how it works here in SC. So the bigger the wage gap between you two tho more you’ll pay

You need to lawyer up Have you two talked about separation? You need everything you can to use against her. When it comes to your livelihood there is no time to be nice. Your main priority is trying to get custody of your kids I make about 50k a year with 2 kids and we have split custody with her as primary for the time being and I pay almost $1300 a month

Unfortunately she can keep your child from you until there has been a custody arrangement. Best advice is document everything

So scene there is no court order regulating custody when you get your child. You don’t have to give him/her back. My advice is hire a lawyer ASAP and serve her divorce papers and get a custody agreement either by a judge or you two going to mediation.

Absolutely! I was the the same boat as you. We agreed on everything then one night at 830 I got served divorce papers. I had about 3 weeks to get together a $5000 retainer and get my ducks in a row as best as I could. Long story short she has primary custody. During the school year I get my 2 kids 6 days a month and I have to pay my ex $1250 a month in child support. If you two can truly agree on everything and there won’t be hard feeling when one of you start seeing other people. Then you need …

It just came to a head one day. We were both obviously unhappy and wanted different things. Agreed that she would move out. We tried for over a year man. If she’s not willing to change to make you happy. Then move on. Stop wasting time. But the same goes for you. You need to try if there is any hope. As far as the process pm me

I was in the same boat. we got married at 19 and 20 we’re now 24 and 25. and have now a 2 year old and a 5 year old. I felt like we fell in love when we were young and as we grew and matured we turned into two people who are no longer compatible for each other. Just know what your getting into. Divorce with kids is no easy task. If you have any questions feel fee to ask. But bottom line is do what make your happy. I was of the mindset I’d rather be happy and apart than miserable and together.
