I'm not sure on the legality of it, but I've never heard guys that go to clubs complain about it. Most guys are going to either see or meet girls, cheaper price for girls means more girls. And the club makes more money because guys will pay more to see girls in that setting. It's like a temporary employment for those girls where they don't have to pay them anything! Isn't society neat.

No, Johnny Depp is still suing the Sun tabloid, Amber Heard, and his ex-lawyer Bloom Hergott. Bloom Hergott is currently trying to stall the court's decision, so it's looking good for Depp. I don't see how he loses against the Sun and Amber Heard.

Cancel culture said bye to Johnny Depp after Amber Heard accused him of abuse and leaked a video of him throwing glasses (I believe after his mother died?). I don't know how the hell you got to that sentence, but no. When a criminal says they committed a crime, it is generally up to law enforcement to verify that they actually committed the crime and then prosecute. And like I said, she's not going to get charged with anything, no one cares what Cardi B did. Maybe something would happen if victims came forward and wanted to press charges, but I doubt that will happen.

Fair enough, after reading the other response to my comment I've come to the conclusion that my moral compass is out of alignment with the laws related to this. Arbitrary numbers aren't actually my problem, rather the more restrictive nature of the US's laws. I agree with you about being upset regarding this. It breaks laws our society has agreed upon. Age laws always annoy me. 17 and 364 days, 1 day later and it's legal, just an annoying harassment that you block, not something prison-worthy, not to mention the social repercussions if it was unsolicited. Really doesn't bother me in this case. He's 17, he can make decisions for himself, he's past the point of being a child. Only problem with this is there's a law prohibiting it and she had a position of power over him, but sending pictures doesn't really involve coercion. I was just explaining the argument's standpoint. The argument applies that women should be charged more for healthcare if we're willing to charge men more for car insurance. So I'd say it's a viable argument for why men should also be incarcerated more harshly. Or we should get rid of it all.

It's the same reasoning why men are charged more for insurance. We drive much more often and therefore are more likely to be in an accident. Though technically women are more likely to cause an accident while driving, men have more opportunities to crash.

I was just going by the definition. We always get upset about social scientists changing the definition of racism and such, figured we should stick to definitions. Again, I still don't know what a supposed patriarchy has to do with the content.
