Always initiate, everyday. When she shuts you down, instead of getting pouty and frustrated, let that spur you on to even greater efforts in self improvement. You cannot control her, but you can control you. If she never comes around, after a sustained and substantial effort? Next.

My first thoughts ( without knowing more about the situation...): GTFO. Why does this guy have to live in your house? No motels around, houses he can rent? Is this something you are doing to be nice, or did your boss demand he stay there? Why would you let some random dude, work or no, say at your house? More directly: If someone is in my house they follow my rules, or they kindly fuck off. That goes for parents and in-laws, kid's friends, our friends, Co workers, anybody. This guy is a dick to …

At at 500 Cal/day deficit for 5 weeks you should have lost 5 lbs, not gained. My initial reaction is that you'll need to cut more calories, maybe 100-200 more than what you are doing, until you start to see the scale go down. Body fat has an impact also however, and for begginer it is possible that you are building some muscle while loosing fat. Remember that the number on the scale isn't the be all end all. If you are making gains with your lifts, then honestly I would keep your calories where …

For refrence my stats: 32 6'3 260lbs 21%BF I lift 3 x a week for 2.5-3hrs each day, and am a truck driver the rest of the time. My maintaince calories are around 2800. How long have you been restricting calories, and how often have you been weighing yourself? Did you recently start weightlifting?

As far as finding freinds goes, I had the same problem. I'm a truck driver, and our terminal is in a different city, so I didn't even have "work friends" Add to that being a natural introvert, meant many years with basically only my wife and her family in my life. After finding MMSLP, I joined my local CrossFit (hold the hate for a second), to kill 2 birds with one stone: Get fit and meet/socialize with new people. I quickly made the switch from CrossFit to Oly (at the same place) and I made a t…

Need to Own Frame/Confidence - At least when it applies to sex, or anticipation of sex. I found that I was talking myself out of initiating this week (she won't want to anyway, easier to Jerk it etc.) I did end up initiating the one day it was an option (off shark week, then on the road next day.) but I was way to in my head about it. I need to just start in on sex, and if she gives a hard no, squeeze her ass, give her a kiss and remember that it's a process. I'm not going to die if I don't get …

You've gotten the noob gains/losses over with. At 15% BF I would recommend focusing on building muscle, which means you'll likely need to start eating more. Remember that Arnold didn't get to be Arnold by losing a lot of weight. Cut, stabilize, bulk, stabilize, repeat. Do your research, track everything. Hitting any kind of fitness plateau is a good sign that you need to change it up.

We had little sex at the time but I stopped initiating. It has been three years since we had sex. Even if she offers it now I will decline it and be curious about the change. So, do you want sex or not? If you never initiate, and shut her down when she does, how exactly is this supposed to get started? I slowly stopped having casual conversations and only talked with her about family logistics. That's a good strategy in some situations, but RP or not, no women is going to want to fuck you when y…

The routine of put kids to bed --> wife goes to bed right after --> I am not tired --> I fucking hate TV = get high then stay up til 1 am playing Destiny with my "friends" We have practically the same experience. This was my exact routine for the last 6 months, also with Destiny. Broke it this week by going to bed at the same time as my Wife, and just reading. Woke up before alarm, ready to go. Felt great.

Yeah, she does. But I think she misses the guy who can do the dishes while she is at work, not the guy who gives her tingles.

If she wants sex or comfort she just goes across the room and gets it. Nope. Literally never happens. Name one time your wife wanted you around for something and you just weren't there. I'm completly gone from home 15 days of the month. Since that is for work and apparently doesn't count, I spend 2-2.5 hours training almost every day I am home, usually in the evenings. How much more should I be gone from home? I have stuff to do there as well...

Could you elaborate on the "Wat?" I am unclear what you are asking about. Last three years: I've went from a being bean pole at 206, to a much bigger (bigger, not fatter) 260 lbs. Yeah, I lift bro. I've gotten my NCCP level 1 Certification and I can now officially coach Olympic Lifting, which I do. I've won 3 Meets. I dress and look (style wise) much, much better than I did before. I relearned Guitar and play regularly. I've built furniture for our home. I've paid off large amounts of Debt, allo…

I would say 4. I have continued passing shit tests, somewhat kept my frame (regained now), and read the sidebar. I have a plan of action and have continued lifting. I have a life away from her, with my job, and my coaching Olympic lifting. I think I am showing her i don't have time for an unsexual wife, but kind of restarting this phase.

1) Escapism. It is easy and gives a person a sense of accomplishment 2)Obsessive completionism. Once I start something, I *Need to finish it, whether its building a coffee table, shingling a roof, or finishing a video game. It is an addiction of sorts, and it is kind of like saying I don't understand why someone would get up at 5am and start drinking themselves under the table. Of course you don't, you don't have that issue. You are right though. So many more productive, useful things to obsess …

Future posts, if needed, will be more brief. This was my first one the Sub, so I wanted to give some background. Added TD;LR, Critisiscm accepted. What I think your deeper issue is that you're not doing well in cruise mode. When you had a dead bedroom you had the motivation and drive to improve. Then when the sex become good enough that you were sort of content, you let yourself go and went back to gaming. Thats about right, I'm just getting complacent and comfortable. And realize that motivatio…

I've seen low effort posts get called out, so I thought I'd give some background Okay, you sound like you're depressed or upset with yourself or your situation and you're taking it out on your wife. Admittedly I was Depressed last week, and acting like a shithead. I explicitly told her that it had nothing to do with her, and at the time it didn't. It really had to do with me being a purposeless shithead. “Huh, he’s got a hot wife” Don't do that. That's just taking your frustrations out on your w…

I think it would be good to go through each question asked of you in these comments and make a longer post, essay length.

I assume you mean: Squat - 375 Deadlift - 400 (weaksauce, but I very rarely do DL) Bench - 250 ish, long time since max test, and rarely done

Nobody makes a living doing Olympic Lifting ;) I do however make side money coaching the sport, so kind of.

Not for her, but if she notices a gut, other women do as well, and it's hurting my SMV.

Along with everyone else, I advise kicking the Palo diet to the curb. Research and track your Macros & Calories. You need carbs to build muscle.

While we are on the topic, let me ask a question: I am an Olympic Weightlifter, and am 6'3, 260lbs. In the grand scheme of things I lift fairly mediocre weights, but with a 215lb Snatch and 272lb Clean and Jerk, I am stronger than 95% of the men she knows. I also get DHV by lifting at the same gym she works at (she is a personal trainer), and all the women she trains can see me lifting. Thing is I started as a bit of a bean pole, and to get this strong I had to eat a metric shit ton of food, and…

Good to hear Litz, thanks for the clarification I only made the comment because I wonder sometimes if I dropped the D bomb to soon (before map was consistently working), or to casually. I had papers ready and it definitely shattered any ONEitis I had, but my MAP has slipped somewhat since then and things are regressing (which is why I'm active here).

So if I understand this correctly, TRP was working perfectly for you, then you fell off your game. Things go back to the way they were, she starts typical hamster "You only want me for sex" (correct answer is "Yes, I want you for be sex slave" OR "If I only wanted you for sex I would have left years ago"). She withdraws sex in a very predictable move to see if you are for real, or if this was a fad. You get fed up and intimate divorce. Divorce comes after running the MAP for a good amount of tim…
