The only thing I'd add to any of this is if she's taking the little kid to a different state and establishes residency there for both her and the kids, what are the legal custody ramifications when she does file for divorce. If he's not worried about the kid living in a different state once they divorce then it's not a big deal but if he wants to have equal or full custody then he needs to see a lawyer now and probably nip this wife moving shit in the bud as he's just asking to get fucked in the…

Umm, why the fuck are you taking the AP classes? Those have the least pay off for your future if music is the business you want and you're a D1 level athlete with Olympic potential?

My advice is given only under the pretext that your mind is set on buying a house with her and giving her the faux wedding. If those conditions weren't preset my advice would be different. . .

I would like to establish some hard facts to make sure my advice is applicable. If I understand it correctly your only concern about this and why you're posting here is about protecting yourself and your kids in case things go south? 'I assume you'd want to do that in the easiest way possible? Since you've clearly established that your decision is firm trying to talk you out of it is futile? You care about this woman's wants enough to give her a wedding, it's the legal side (only) that gives you…

I have to agree with Persaeus, this is spot on. I work in a very cut throat industry under one of the largest modern gangsters in Industry, one that operates on a level that entails regular Big Dick contests with State and Federal governments, plural. I am comparatively low on the totem pole but two or three levels above me and this kind of shit just doesn't fly, I can't even imagine it being attempted or productive. I actually fall under the 'content' label you mention, as I look around I don't…

I don't believe it is something you really actually conscious think about it. I actually didn't recognize it as a thing until I read this and only looking back did I realize I've used it before. In most cases it's just intuitive. GOMs assessment is both true and eloquent as it is only done by those without the direct power to just impose their will openly without concern for how it affects their standing in the higherarchy. There was a pretty decent example of this in a revenge FR in the redpill…

Do you trust your friend to captain the ship? You've already doubled down on him once with your second investment so at one time you did? Does the new structure of the company put enough constraints on him to reflect a loss of confidence or will he still have enough control that your faith in his ability still stands? Answer that and you probably have your answer. He's the one constant in this whole situation and no internet stranger can know what you know about him and his ability to make this …

It's bargaining/gambling with information(in a broad sense as it doesn't always have to be actionable to have value) in social interactions without actually acknowledgement of said bargaining.

Take ZMA before bed. This will also help in the muscle repair from your lifting. You are lifting heavy right? If not that's a priority and it will also help you sleep better

ARE you a shitty driver? My wife has never complained about my driving and if we are going somewhere together I am always the one in the driver's seat. Then again she's too busy touching my head, neck, and shoulders to be paying attention to the road. She also knows that I take my family's safety deathly seriously, keep my head on a swivel and she trusts me to protect them. Do you have that same mindset whenever you are out with your family? If not she may have a point . . .

I don't necessarily disagree but if you can't find anything else then I say why not? I am not overly articulate but my suggestion was more about showing his kids new things that he'd yet to experience as a way to maybe kickstart the drive to experience things beyond his comfort zone as a means to help find something worth pursuing. In no way was I implying he should try to live vicariously through his children. That'd just be sad. . .

Do you look fucking awesome in your Dr. attire? The answer to that question should dictate what you do. I believe it might have been u/88Will88 who talked about his successful online dating game and the few pics he uses. If my memory is correct you should check out his history as I'm not sure if it was a post or comment. I could also be way off the mark. . .

First, Don't pay attention to what people on Facebook are doing. That shit is like cancer. Why can't being an awesome dad be your mission? If you truly want to be an awesome dad you would have to exhibit all the traits you'd want your kids to develop which, if you want them to be awesome people, you too would have to be awesome. I don't know how old your kids are but you can start exposing them to all kinds of fun and interesting things, especially things you don't know anything about either. Yo…

My wife used to watch the bachelor and when we first started dating I would mess with her about it (I still razz the shit out of her about her silly tv tastes) so for our very 1st V-day I got her a single rose like on the show and jokingly 'chose her'. I wasn't mimicking the show in an attempt to be romantic (this fact makes all the difference) i was just being silly to tease her. So in doing this, I teased her, made her laugh, and set a funny and inexpensive Vday tradition. All I do for every V…

It even goes beyond the serious issues dealt with here. I have this philosophy, and it's not mine but I don't know where I stole it from, when applied to insignificant bullshit of life that illustrates just how powerful frame of mind can work and whenever I share it with people it's always like a light bulb goes off in their head: Imagine you're on the highway and some asshole comes speeding by and cuts you off and almost causes you to wreck in a high-speed accident that would be deadly. For mos…

Yeah. 2 years, no sex. Fuck. That. Shit! Life is way too fleeting not to be having fun on a daily basis, and having fun is a mindset. Always comes back to frame.

I admit that I am not necessarily a good resource when it comes to dread. I have always had a happy marriage and I had my shit together since before meeting my wife. This place has helped me focus on fine tuning things to maximize our happiness and things outside of sex and marriage, even if the red pill is sexual strategy. Dread is not my wheel house and I freely admit it. Im sure I'm not properly articulating my thoughts and my choice of words were overly simplified but the one thing I notice …

From my theoretical understanding I agree with your break down but as a thought exercise what if you take the wife/SO out of the equation? From my point of view doing so doesn't actually change the strategic objective of every step. Since MRP is about fixing the man, not the marriage, for alot of men it would be in their best interest to remove their SO from the equation from the very beginning. For instance, instead of step 1 being about passing shit tests (symptom) it would be about correcting…

I always thought the 'levels of dread' we're poorly named because it implied you were trying to control the actions and behaviors of someone else. I always thought this was the underlying issue that causes confusion. I don't actually have a better suggestion, just an observation. Dread has nothing to do with a man's SO. I always pictured it as a step by step guide for a man of zero worth to ultimately become a man men admire. Every step builds upon the last. If men who need it saw it as only for…

I wasn't calling your requests a bunch of shit, I was pointing out that you are just making requests. Instead of requesting just start planning/doing things that are fun and exciting. She will either join or she won't. Doesn't matter. Lead. Do you kino her? Do your actions (not talking about your money or body) give her tingles? Do you game the shit out of her? Are you a fun person? Those are questions for you to think about, I don't need a response with answers.

You don't sound like much fun. What kinds of things are you doing to have fun with your wife in the fleeting moments you're together when you aren't making requests of how you expect her to live? You're requesting a bunch of shit from her but unless I missed something you don't appear to be leading her to those behaviors and telling her what you expect of her and huffing and puffing when she doesn't do it isn't what I'd call leadership.

That's inaccurate, that's an extremely well written and important letter you wrote, thus making you a letter writer! I had my first child last year and I've had 'incase of death letter' on my to-do list for several months and haven't OMS in getting it done. After reading yours I can't ignore it any longer and yours gave me some ideas for things I hadn't considered including so I owe you gratitude, thanks for the kick in the pants.

This is great, well done sir. It's a shame that it took a school assignment to make this happen but I highly doubt many, if any, kids in your son's class will receive such a thoughtful and lengthy piece of literature.

So you're trying to tell us that the entirety of your wall of text could be summed up simply by saying "I'm happy in my relationship"? If that's true then my point still stands, why do we give a shit and why do you need internet strangers to give you the thumbs up in you being happy with your wife? Stop looking for validation from us.

I guess my question is why are you telling us about this? In all of your DEERing answers to other's responses you make it sound like all is good. If that's true then you don't need a bunch of internet strangers to hold your hand and tell you so. If not then you should listen to what others are saying, even if it's difficult to digest.

Literally 100% of the responses on here are telling you to get the fuck out before you make a grave mistake. Don't fucking hamster an excuse to dismiss the answer you came here for everyone to tell you. Listen to everyone here and follow their guidance/perspective as it's all legit. Seriously.

Watch what she does, not what she says. She may have said she wanted a divorce but she fucked you good? Two nights in a row? That doesn't add up. Only see an attorney if it's what YOU want and you don't owe her shit, there is no need to tell her. The only justification in telling her is if it serves a real purpose for you.

I struggled with this in the past. I discovered a free web service called the skimm that emails me every morning Monday through Friday with a short description of the major world/US events for the day. This way I am informed of all major topics in less than 3 minutes. Keeps me informed and doesn't waste my time. Worth a look if knowing world events is pertinent to how you do you.
