Cultivating a large social network is far more important. Don't get me wrong, eating healthily and working out is good and all but dating has to do with your social life. I also call bullshit on you noticing a "huge difference" after two weeks of working out and eating heathily. I've yo-yo'd with regards to weight ever since high school. I've been as fat as 93 kgs and as skinny as 57 kgs. Over the last year and a half I've gone from 80-something kgs down to 60-something kgs. There has been littl…

In my experience, most people are either neutral/ignorant about feminism or they support a pretty vague liberal "girlboss" version of it. Expressing support for other, more serious IMO, forms of feminism, especially as man, is as likely to get you side-eye as it is to get you praise. It is not a very successful way of virtue signaling at all. I've gotten into debates with women because I supported forms of feminism more radical than the Lean In variant. If all I wanted to do was virtue signal th…

Aren’t you one of the black girls from that rating thread? Cause if so, I’m sure I’ll be high value any day now I swear🥹

Maybe. I wouldn't want to know about the other partners though. And I wouldn't have kids while in a polyamorous relationship.

The two women who come to mind as "my biggest crushes" were also women I was extremely physically attracted to so I'd say so.

Just enjoy being able to go for a long time.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/22 07:33 PM

So many men online complain about not getting compliments. Well, my advice is to grow an afro. Got several compliments on my hair while going out last night.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/22 06:32 PM

I think the attitude of the stereotypical onlyfans subscribing/e-girl following man is one of desperation. A desire for validation and attention from a specific girl who is idolized. That’s probably not most people who buy porn but it’s the way they’re often imagined.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/22 06:28 PM

I think the traditional male experience of strippers/sex work is the opposite of simp-ish. It’s basically about the total dehumanisation and objectification of women, turning their bodies into commodities to be bought for the enjoyment of men. There is zero care for the women as people. I’m not saying this is how strippers experience their work but it describes the traditional male attitude towards these jobs.

Donating sperm doesn’t get you a family. I don’t care about my genes or whatever, I’d like to be a dad some day. Adoption could help achieve that but that’s probably difficult, and expensive, for a single man to do. Besides, my desire originates from the fantastic experiences I had growing up with my parents and siblings. Part of me wants to create that same kind of environment to raise children in.

Low self esteem, laziness, depression, self-obsession, procrastination, indecisiveness, lots of internalized shame and lots of internalized fears, complete inability to be vulnerable, occasionally manipulative.

So much LVM stolen valor in this sub smh. Being low value means lacking in successes in most/all areas of life and/or having serious (unresolved) issues and hangups with regards to mental health and your personality. It’s not about being 5’9 with a dadbod or “only” making around median income. That’s just called being average.

Is this what you’d want? You’d want your partner to perform maintenance sex for you? I’d prefer a dead bedroom.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/22 07:32 AM

The looks threshold thing is one of the dumbest things. For the vast majority of people, regardless of gender, attractiveness is one of the most important factors in picking sexual and romantic partners. Sure, personality matters but it is so stupid to suggest that there’s a level after which you only or mainly care about personality. And people who use the term always claim that the threshold isn’t that high lol.

What price? The price of having to meet people, of having to put yourself out there, of having to face rejection? That's just life. So what if an unattractive man has a harder time than an attractive one. There will be people having a harder time than you as well. Just focus on finding your own happiness. If you want a relationship, you should go look for it.

I can only have sex when there is an explicit desire for it from someone else so I don’t get this problem. Unless she tells you she wants to fuck, you should just keep it to cuddling.

But everyone isn't equal and ok with regards to attraction for men though? Why is it difficult for some men to understand that, just as they are attracted and not attracted to various women, so are women attracted and not attracted to various men.

A negative. It’s usually just about being an asshole. I think it’s okay to joke about serious or tragic topics but people who frame their behaviour as anti-PC, dark, or edgy are almost always unfunny cunts.

I think it is incredibly stupid to care about what your ex is doing. I would not give a fuck if a friend dated my ex. However, I care enough about my friends that I'd make sure to check if it is okay with them before I'd ever try to date one of their exes. I may think it is stupid but sometimes you gotta indulge the stupidity of loved ones.

I think everyone is better off being physically active but I don't think every man has to go to the gym with the aim of getting a lean, muscular, aesthetic body. Not everyone enjoys the gym or desires that kind of body, for them other ways of being physically active are preferable.

If getting laid is your goal, going out a lot and approaching a lot of women will pay off far more than going to the gym will. Going to the gym might make it easier to get more conventionally attractive women but you can still get laid a lot just by being really outgoing and socializing a whole bunch.

Almost two years since the last time I had any kind of sexual contact, though I was incredibly drunk back then and it therefore wasn't with full consent. So I don't really count it. It's more like 4 years ago, which is also when I was last in a relationship.

Very first time I got my dick sucked it was after I opened up about my depression on a third date. I didn’t go into specifics though and I wasn’t emotional about it. Still, I don’t really buy that “women will bail” stuff.

Why care about that burning love? That love on first sight shit. It's just a bunch of hormones. Real love takes time and effort. It is an active choice. It's people caring for their sick spouse, it's people working hard to provide for their family, it's people going to every length for their disabled child. Countless people do that shit every day all over the world so take heart knowing that love is very much real.

Attractive. I’d rather date a blind woman than one dumb enough to think I’m “stable”.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/22 12:36 PM

No. Only terminally online, incredibly insecure and self-obsessed men think they care what an individual woman thinks of them. Besides, a woman who gets approached by stranger isn’t going to think much more than “I’m not interested”, she’s not going to have all these thought about how ugly the dude is.

Personally, I want to be the person to make the first move. It is not that I think lesser of a woman approaching me but I just wouldn’t want to be in a position where I’m the one having to accept or reject her. I also prefer to be the person more in love with the other than the other way round. And I’m just talking first moves in the sense of being the person to first pursue something beyond friendship with someone. Once you’re dating, first moves in terms of getting physical are fine. Tinder just facilitates meeting people on a large scale. You still need to personally find someone to agree to casual sex with you.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/22 12:38 PM
1

I think that's a dumb as fuck way to think. What does it even mean. You don't win a partner. Ideally, relationships are formed through mutual agreement and for the benefit of all involved. I wouldn't want to be seen as "the prize" and I'd never see my partner as a prize, or the prize, either.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/22 12:35 PM

Of course. Loving someone doesn’t suddenly make you not human.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/22 05:08 AM

No, most men I know have had at least one casual encounter/relationship. The men who have the most casual sex are hot, or charismatic, or try really hard, or very social, etc.

I don’t think there is anything wrong with having sex quickly. Personally, I’d like to take things slow. Not for any of the reasons you mentioned but because it takes a long time before I can be vulnerable with people.

TRP and the rest of the manosphere were born out of men who felt threatened, insecure, and unsure about their position in a postfeminist mainstream culture and a late stage capitalist economy. FDS is largely a reaction to the manosphere but is similarly related to the aforementioned societal factors.

I don’t have lists of characteristics in my head that I compare the people I see to, to determine how attractive I find them. I just see people and find out in the moment whether I find them attractive. The women I’ve found attractive do not necessarily have a ton in common, in terms of looks. So no preferences and no requirements.

The subjugation of women required, and still requires, laws, institutions, religious doctrines, violence, communal policing, etc. It has also frequently been contested throughout history. We don't need laws and churches to tell us to walk upright on our two legs, we just do. That's not at all true for the ways in which gender has been constructed throughout history so to believe that it is all because of biological reality is really irresponsible.

The main finding is that post-promotion divorces are concentrated in gender-traditional couples—those with a larger spousal age gap and a more gender-skewed division of parental leave. Women in more gender-equal couples do not divorce more often after a promotion. Men with high earnings ability are often in relationships that focus on his career, while women with high earnings ability tend to be in dual-earner relationships in which she is the primary caregiver (e.g., Ely, Stone, and Ammerman 20…

Maybe those divorces are caused by women being faced with both a higher work load while still doing most of the housework. Even in a place like Sweden, some traditional gender norms still remain.

Patriarchy is a worldwide phenomenon. And before you go “if it is everywhere it is probably biological!” that does not need to be true. Religious beliefs, various kinds of homophobia, slavery, monarchies, etc. either are or have been commonplace without being biological.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 06:45 PM

So because women in China refuse to marry unemployed men (according to one article) that means their views on masculinity is biological? China is, like most countries, a patriarchal country with conservative values regarding gender and the division of domestic labour. Women’s preferences there is not a sign they are biological.

We’ll adjust to a world where women earn as much or more than men on average by changing how we view masculinity, no longer associating it with providing and financial success, and by bringing about a change in the division of domestic labour. In short, feminism.

Sexual frustration is a small price to pay for women having to freedom to make choices. What's so bad about women only sleeping with men they really want to sleep with? Is finding one that finds you attractive really that much work?

I don't understand. You'll still get to experience firsts when you have them. You'll still get to experience being inexperienced. As someone who lost his virginity pretty damn late I can honestly tell you that those firsts and that experience of being inexperienced is a whole bunch of nothing. You'll wake up the next day the same exact person. You're catastrophizing right now about women being "unreachable" but the moment one isn't that shit will become mundane.

It's not bad at all. People partner up for reasons beyond romantic love or sexual lust all the time. They partner up to stave off loneliness, to increase their station in life, to make their family happy, etc. Even if the other person is ignorant of the absence of love or lust, it is only bad if it negatively impacts the relationship. If they remain ignorant it means the relationship is good enough that they don't suspect that their partner might not be totally in love or deeply in lust with the…

Mad. Women form an oppressed class in society and should treat their oppressors antagonistically. I believe us men can come to understand why feminism is necessary through education but it is not up to women to educate men, especially not on an individual level. In day-to-day interactions, women should have high expectations of how they would like to be treated and little patience when those expectations aren't met.

Do you find it enjoyable to fake that persona or do you find it exhausting instead? Does the need to fake a persona in order to attract certain women lead you to resent said women? Because that's what "just be yourself" is all about. What it's trying to convey is that it is more fulfilling in the end to stay true to yourself and find people who actually appreciate that authentic self than it is to perform as someone else. If you think faking it will lead to more sexual success and if that's what…

I think I’d only ever enter into a relationship specifically to start a family so yes, I do care. Based on how many men end up having families I think a majority of them care. Angry men who feel slighted because they don’t have casual sex are simply overrepresented online.

I don’t date. I am not socially active. I have very few material successes and am in many ways far behind my peers. I have mental health issues and hangups regarding intimacy and vulnerability. I am not very physically attractive. You could say I’m a low value male.

If you are actively dating but keep getting rejected by the types of women you’re attracted to then losing weight can help. You should keep losing weight so that the effect is bigger. If you are not actively dating, because of mental issues or anxiety or some shit, losing weight will understandably not do shit. It is unlikely that simply losing weight will make you so hot that women will start approaching you.
