I also think that liking the activity is essential. After all, the game shouldn't consume our lives. We should also enjoy the time we use.

I completely agree and that's basically what I'm going for. I don't intend to do things too seriously but to get a new experience trying the activity aswell.

My current method is being fun and genuine. I try to make people around me feel great, and I have gotten a lot of compliments from women on that. It's almost effortless because of my personality, but the devil is in the details which I need to work on. There is always room for improvement. I learn best by example. This helps me come up with my own material specific to my situation.

I feel that's good advice. They do get bored with these questions some times, but this is a good way to keep the conversation interesting.

By my experience, women love witty banter. Even they get bored with the same questions every time. The last time I was on a date, I just gave the answer straight away, and so did she. It felt more like an exchange of information than a date. I just want to make it more fun in the future for both parties.

I completely agree. I always give the real answer, but I want to make the conversation more fun. The last time I just gave all the info right away and the date was as dry as a bone. So next I'll try to be 2/3 witty and 1/3 real.

Would it work if you hyped up the answer and described it to the extreme before telling? Or described it in a way that's obviously the opposite of what it is? Like: 1. I'm from a vibrant cultural metropolitan city. (insert small-town name here) I make people hate the government. I'm a tax collector. Or I look at nudes all day. I'm a radiologist I lose money in the stock market. Or I engage in the historical culture of the noble Scottish sheep herder. Golf

That may indeed happen. Still, in my opinion, you have the best chance when it's just the two of you. Then there won't be any pressure from the group, and you can just focus on each other.

I have never been in this situation but I suspect what might work is that you find some activity that you both think is cool and ask "Hey, you wanna go do this cool thing with me" and just let it happen naturally.
