Eyelash and eyebrow tinting! I have near-invisible blonde brows and lashes and do it myself at home. I find I get a better result and manage to minimise the amount I get in my eyes by doing it myself, at a fraction of the cost too.

My favourite maintenance/preventative is a splash of pure bleach, let it sit (I usually clean other areas of the bathroom while I wait) followed by a brisk scrub with a toilet brush. Best of luck! :)

Does anyone have any tips for keeping the shower clean? I have a partner who works a physical job (comes home dirty) and I haven't yet found a good solution for cleaning products or schedule for keeping the shower nice all the time. Since our water is not chlorinated I usually end up using bleach in the corners and in and crannies to kill the slime that forms - its the only thing that works but my partner hates the smell of bleach so would love an alternative. This has not been mentioned yet but I wanted to make two contributions that have helped my beauty schedule and are very budget-friendly. If you have fair eyelashes/brows - learn how to tint your own. $20 in starting materials is all you need, I still haven't used up by first tube of tint yet and I bought it years ago. For classic french lingerie I really like Simone Perele - the quality is fantastic and I love the beautiful packaging ... box, tissue paper and bag with silky ribbon. I make a DIY window spray using water, vinegar which has been steeped in citrus, corn starch and a little rubbing alcohol. I used to get a rash on my hands from using Windex ... hated the smell too. I hate Windex too! I use a homemade recipe using orange vinegar (vinegar steeped in orange peels, smells nice!), water, corn starch and a little rubbing alcohol and it works a treat. Just shake it up before use. I use it with a washable glass cloth for sparkly windows. Recipe was from a website called crunchy betty.

I work from home in STEM, technical support and sales for a specific piece of lab equipment. I earn more than my fiancé currently! I hope to be able to drop down to part time once I have children. This is me :) I have an honours degree, my career is in STEM and my fiancé was paramedic and now he is in agriculture. I have a lot of respect for what he does. He is very practical, enduring, physically fit and has to think on the spot. I have a few chickens too :) They are so lovely to keep. My hobbies are around homesteading - I love cooking and so far I have mastered bread baking, making fresh egg pasta and have moved onto making fresh cheeses using raw milk. I have made ricotta, mozzarella and am attempting feta this week. I used to live in the city and had no kitchen skills so I am very proud to have come this far! Hi OP - thank you for your reply. You are right in that I think the T is the factor at play. Unfortunately I haven't come across a female INTJ in my life, but am always on the look out. That's not to say I don't cherish the female friends I do have. I'd love to reach that best friends level where you can be 100% yourself all the time, something which I think would come from mutual personality types. I could be wrong though!

Practice makes perfect! Find one thing you are good at and work from there. I started off with making fresh bread since I always wanted to be able to bake my own. Any chance you could work from home once a week? I have a career but was lucky enough to land a position working from home. Being able to do laundry during my lunch break is great. Not commuting also gives me some extra time to devote to my partner/the house/myself.
