wtf how is he a virgin

It's also easier for heterosexual women to catch an STI or UTI than heterosexual men

oh no! did your blood sugar drop after taking insulin or something?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 10:18 PM

Honestly... does it matter what's said here? Obviously there are plenty of average people out in the real world in healthy relationships where they both treat each other great
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 09:56 PM

https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/14681994.2012.678825 Admittedly smallish sample size but this study has the advantage of being dyadic -- both members of a given couple are surveyed. "Men and women were equally likely to be the member of the couple with lower sexual desire relative to their partner."
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 09:37 PM

Interestingly, on r/DeadBedrooms the ratio of high libido male users to high libido female users essentially matches the ratio of male:female reddit users overall. I guess at least for reddit users in relationships, men and women are equally likely to be the one who wants more sex.

"Couples married in the late 1960s and 1970s were 70% more likely to divorce when wives earned the same or slightly more than their husbands compared with couples where the husband earned more... For couples married in the 1990s, however, the divorce rate for those with female breadwinners had fallen to 4% higher than male breadwinners." https://cde.wisc.edu/wp-content/uploads/sites/839/2023/05/More-Wives-Now-Outearn-Their-Husbands.-They-Also-Stay-Together-Longer.-WSJ.pdf

3rd was the trickiest for sure. It's harder to tell based on a picture because she's tall. I can see she's holding a significant amount of weight in her hips but the loose fitting jeans make it hard to tell with her lower body. In the comments she says she's evenly proportioned with muscle. (Also, isn't #1s transformation crazy? Looks like a whole different person.) I wouldn't have guessed that girl was 5'7" from the picture you posted but based on her instagram I can def believe 19.6. Skinnier …

Tbh this comment is basically the equivalent of laughing at a fat person at the gym trying to work out and lose weight
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 04:23 PM

Okay? Back when I was losing weight I also had to figure out how to eat enough volume to not feel hungry throughout the day but still stay in a caloric deficit. So that meant not just eating less - it meant changing what I was eating.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 04:21 PM

Different people struggle with different things. I struggled to create a viable, well rounded work out plan for myself and went to my university's gym services. Other people are able to just figure it out with little to no guidance.

I'll answer in terms of my feminist girl boss circle. I'm going into a different side of mental health, not psychology. Admittedly I know nothing about the APA. I was referring to "All the men working on the field will die over the next decade". Of course there is a huge disparity but there is no collapse of men going into psych masters and phd programs. It been staying basically steady at 3:1. Fun fact: American colleges have begun intentionally recruiting male therapists to ensure that male students who want male therapists can be accommodated. My undergrad started doing this in ~2021 and as of now they have 5 male therapists for undergrads (smallish school). My current school has 15 male therapists for undergrads + grad students (big school).

Is it niceness or are you like timid/shy? I think the trouble with app-based dates is that you're meeting a total stranger which is inherently nerve wracking. That's why so many people incorporate alcohol but ik that's not your thing. You could do an activity first date. Something fun and engaging that takes the pressure off of you to keep a direct conversation always going. For this particular man, the woman was asking if any women had tea on him. There are two comments from service workers: "He's a regular at my serving job. No. There's this service organization called alternative spring break and part of it is "connecting deeply with fellow members" or some bullshit. One guy talked about how he was raped by a woman while drunk and unconscious at a party (came to during). I know another guy who had basically the same experience. /r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 10:03 PM

But what I was saying that someone who wanted to have sex with as many people as possible will be able to do that more easily than ever before. I understand that's your point, and I disagree. For a woman that wanted casual sex in the past, she likely just went out with her friends to the bar or club and found a guy there. Casual sex used to be heavily driven by socialization, alcohol, drugs. Those things have dropped off a lot. Pre-AIDS epidemic, we weren't really aware of the sheer health impac…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 09:35 PM

However, more women than ever before have had 30+ partners I don't agree that this is true. People used to be so much more social. And a big thing is that alcohol usage amongst young people has just plummeted, which leads to a significant drop in casual sex. Between 2004 and 2014, the number of bars in America decreased by 17%. From 2005 to 2015 the number of nightclubs in Britain decreased by 45%, and I have to imagine that America saw something similar. AFAIK covid only made these trends worse…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 09:22 PM

I would simply have not left and told him
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 08:53 PM

Situationship is just the gen z word for "it's complicated" (which was a facebook relationship status option!). Casual sex has also declined.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 08:51 PM

...are they? I saw that one tiktok of the woman saying she has had 300 partners but that's the only thing that comes to mind. Usually it's men online that go on and on about women who have tons and tons of casual sex
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 08:40 PM
1

Okay I'm going to make the assumption that you're young and western/American. The reality is that if a woman is making out with you, she's into it and you. She wants to be there. A lot of this "visceral desire" rhetoric comes from people pointing to LTR dead bedrooms and saying that the woman was never actually interested in the man. But the truth is that especially for millennials and gen z, a dead bedroom LTR started with passionate, frequent, adventurous sex. My 3 24 y/o closest friends are i…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 08:37 PM

If you polled PPD men what's the chance that many would honest to god think that young women today are on average having more sex than young women a few decades ago
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 08:31 PM

Hm yeah 7 average seems fair and definitely it's like some experience with casual sex in between LTRs. The whole "women ride the cock carousel till their 30s then settle" thing is so laughable
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 08:27 PM

I think that's bullshit honestly, we way overestimate how much sex young people are having but casual sex and casual dating are way more common than that article makes it seem
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 08:10 PM

So am I... Benni is a fit 6 ft white male...
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 08:07 PM

Yeah I'm not from a super conservative culture or anything so it seems like he just hasn't been able to find similarly conservative straight edge people. Like I know so many people in the US with my ethnic background and I genuinely can't name a single other one that doesn't drink. And from what he said, when he tried to date in our parent's country the women would just lie and portray themselves as never having done anything untoward or dated etc
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 08:03 PM

I think a 6 ft fit white man could get laid decently easily in southeast asia without paying a fee tho

I still don't see what this has to do with marriage and divorce. But if a couple is married and have decided they don't want kids, they'll generally opt for sterilization (like vasectomy) or IUD. Obviously it's different for like two randos hooking up
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 07:47 PM

No... do you mean like getting pregnant by a man to get him to marry you...? that's not really a thing nowadays because there isn't a strong taboo against out of wedlock birth like there used to be

you can be held accountable for a child you didn't want to have in the first place This very clearly is generally not marriage related ...?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 07:24 PM

Is there a trend in America to have children outside of marriages? Yes, and I am talking about divorce. American temporarily embarrassed millionaire syndrome is a disease

choppy choppy
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 07:08 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 07:07 PM

I can name a hundred things women fear that have a low likelihood of happening. I'm not saying it's a low likelihood for any given person. I'm saying that for the majority of Americans it's impossible. particularly the problems I see is that you can be held accountable for a child you didn't want to have in the first place or that the woman can be encouraged to fight for a kid she doesn't want in order to get alimony from a particularly wealthy man These aren't divorce related...
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 07:07 PM

umc strivers yuhhh marriage as business model ya
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 06:59 PM

In the past people who did not want to be married did so because of societal pressure. Same with having children
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 06:56 PM

The vast majority of Americans are not "getting their daughter married"
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 06:55 PM

Doesn't this just mean that nowadays the people getting married are more likely to genuinely want to be married and are therefore less likely to get divorced Also, marriage comes with social status. Especially amongst higher socioeconomic classes and the highly educated.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 06:53 PM

But you understand that you just described an extremely specific scenario, right? That the vast majority of Americans never see a significant growth in their earnings like that? That most Americans really do not have any significant assets by 30?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 06:51 PM

Overdramatic opinion for most
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 06:49 PM

I feel like 6 months afterwards is acceptable especially if the spouse did not die in a sudden, unexpected way
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 06:46 PM

Then date and marry within your socioeconomic class, with a woman who has no interest in being a SAHM.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 06:44 PM

What percent of single people under 35 have assets even worth talking about?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 06:42 PM

Yeah idk most people don't have any significant assets til like 30-35+
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 06:40 PM

In the US 52% of wives with at least a bachelor's degree make at least 40% of the couple's combined income. 43% of wives who make $100k+ make at least 60% of the couple's combined income.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 06:37 PM

Historically that's been true in terms of child custody. That is changing as states increasingly make joint custody or 50/50 custody the assumed split. Of course the situation is not perfect and it varies significantly by state. I don't see how splitting the marital assets in half = favoring women.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 06:35 PM

Yeah and people usually marry within their socioeconomic class and to people with similar education levels. And as a woman's education and income increases, she is more likely to be in a more financially equitable relationship. 52% of wives with at least a bachelor's degree make at least 40% of the couple's combined income. 43% of wives who make $100k+ make at least 60% of the couple's combined income. Plus, for more educated couples this whole thing is less relevant. Women with a bachelor's deg…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 06:32 PM

My parent's culture has a huge taboo on divorce and I grew up thinking that one of the worst possible things life was divorce. And I kept hearing that 50% of American marriages end in divorce. Imagine my surprise when I learned that divorce rates have been trending down for decades. And that women with a bachelor's degree have a 78% chance of their marriage lasting at least 20 years.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 06:26 PM

I think it's very interesting that the rhetoric around divorce is that men lose half of "their" stuff (as in marital assets get split down the middle), even though less than a quarter of marriages have a male sole breadwinner and 45% of marriages have the wife making at least 40% of the couple's combined income. Not getting to spend time with your kids, not getting 50/50 custody totally sucks. But splitting the marital assets in half just makes sense.

men pay the penalties of divorce Can you expand on this? 10% of divorces in the US involve alimony. Less than 1/4 of American marriages have the man as the sole provider. In 45% of marriages, the wife makes at least 40% of the couple's combined income. I can understand historically it's been difficult to get adequate child custody, though I know states are moving towards more default joint custody. Overall my understanding is that unless one person stayed at home, money wise you usually keep you…

Hinge racial filters are a godsend tbh especially for women who aren’t as in to white men. Tinder just feels like an endless exercise in swiping on white men. A lot of this sub’s rhetoric is fueled by inexperienced people who don’t at all understand what causes dead bedrooms, and experienced people who are lying about what dead bedrooms relationships actually look like (usually).

Wut? There are so many other reasons dead bedrooms can happen. Still important to establish the compatibility at the get go. It just doesn’t guarantee continued passionate and frequent sex til death.

That’s how they why do you think that OkCupid profiles from 15 years ago show a distribution of men’s photos that actually follow a bell curve? Especially when we know that men love to put up pictures from fishing or shitty group photos. And we know from photofeeler that photo presentation, cropping, etc, has a strong impact on how attractive the person is perceived

It’s partially a symptom of other issues in the relationship that have strained intimacy, and it’s partially health/mental health related. One of the guys struggles with depression and it lowers his sex drive. He and his gf have both gained weight and I feel like it makes them less willing to be naked/have sex. Another friend of mine (not one of the 3 I initially mentioned) was in a close to dead bedroom for some time because of her bf’s depression (not a medication, but the depression itself) b…

Your last sentence is one of the single biggest issues I have with Red Pill rhetoric because it is so far from reality. Most dead bedrooms are couples that began with a good, passionate sex life. Then other issues got in the way. All 3 of my 24 y/o best friends are in dead bedroom LTRs. Their sex lives were initially passionate, frequent, and experimental (women tell their friends a lottt about their sex life). The reality is that pretty few women are getting into LTRs that begin with duty sex.

Wait what? I’m not talking about rape at all. I’m talking about general nonsobriety like being tipsy. Ok you can look into what exactly drives casual sex. Casual sex has been declining for decades, and studies have found a significant part of this decline is explained by how young people are drinking less. You completely misunderstood my comment. What about sexual stuff other than PIV? Aren’t you jumping the gun a bit, especially if you’re young? Like there’s so so many ways a woman can show her desire for you before you work your way up to sex or after you’ve started having it. Like why just assume a woman will never be enthusiastic about getting with you? At least at my age there is no epidemic of women having duty sex with their boyfriend or just laying there and tolerating the proceedings while he does whatever.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 06:15 PM

Obviously a woman should not say this directly to her boyfriend. Yes, a big question is why did she marry a man who utterly ignores all her attempts at communication for better sex. The obvious root of all this is the childhood sexual assault. Based on her post history I also think there’s a decent chance she’s a lesbian and has simply never enjoyed sex with men. I don’t think refusing penetration is the move. If you care about fat women then why don’t you date one and personally support her through weight loss?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 09:08 PM

Actually, I forgot to include a part of what he said. He said people that didn’t go through adversity at a young age, and were given unconditional support and love by their parents. I’m not sure. All I know if that basically everyone gets slapped in the face by life at some point.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 09:07 PM

My friend and I discussed this a few years ago. He was saying that people who don’t go through some form of adversity at a pretty young age (which often looks like a difficult home life), they end up getting a very rude awakening later in life. Often through the first form of adversity they face - dating. Heartbreak, rejection, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 09:03 PM

The impact of gaining muscle would be pretty minimal on abdominal loose skin, especially the amount that many women have after multiple pregnancies + losing the weight. Somewhat effective for like legs but not really there

I follow some dermatologists on tiktok and I’ve never heard this. I have heard that you shouldn’t use it as a teenager. I do think it makes way more sense to start with something less potent like benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid + lifestyle changes like sleep hygiene and water intake. Then working up to more potent actives depending on results

Yeah I was going to say, your look isn’t really preferred for the blonde/blue eyes/tanned type, but with just a bit of effort I’m inclined to think a significant amount of women would find you pretty attractive.

Then clearing skin, making hair healthy with flattering style, grooming facial hair, dressing well, fashionable glasses, jewelry, makeup, sleep, water intake, etc. Clothes and hair are difficult for me but I think for most people m…

Settled for even if you’re talking about women in their early-mid 20s? What do you mean tho? Somehow the 20% is an assortment of men independent of their traits like looks? It’s not actually top men? The obvious conclusion from what I’m saying is that more than just the objective top 20% of men are desirable to women — because obviously the 5’9”+ hot guy is desirable to women.

Yes, the rule is that 80% of women are only attracted to 20% of men. That means the remaining 80% of men only get scraps. If these groups have many women who are posting mediocre men that are dating/hooking up with multiple women, however, then the rule must not be true.

That's ridiculous. So if a 22 year old man who's overweight, average height, average income is hooking up with a woman, he must be top 20%? That makes no sense
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 12:00 PM
2

Top 20% income is objective. Anyone making let's say 50k or below is objectively not top 20%. Many of the men posted in these groups are overweight Would you claim that he's top 20%? What about obese men? What about a man that's 5'9"?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 11:37 AM

I'm a young woman who finds the idea of going for a man more than 5 years older than me disgusting. Even 4-5 years older is pushing it unless the guy looks younger. The vast majority of my friends prefer men our age.

When people get sick they lose weight and may go into the 18.5-20.9 range. Then the sickness kills them. Then it gets added to the "all cause mortality" category for people in the 18.5-20.9 range. This is a well known bias in the data. There was a meta analysis published in 2013 that found that people in the overweight BMI category actually have the lowest mortality. It was criticized for multiple reasons, including the one you gave. The paper I gave refers to this phenomenon as "reverse causali…

Yeah I mean people can blame and get upset but imo that’s unreasonable unless you’ve explicitly had the where is this going or the exclusivity conversation Like for example I’ve been on 3 dates with this guy. He was clear about looking for a relationship from the jump. The second date he initiated a conversation but we decided to wait and see a bit longer. At the end of the third date he explicitly asked where is this going, we agreed that we weren’t LTR compatible but enjoyed being around eacb …

Yeah, I’ve watched Love Island and I’m currently in the UK. I was just saying last week that the gap in attractiveness by gender on Love Island is ridiculous. Tanning beds also age the skin but yeah I guess I don’t know how people here do their tanning

I didn’t get with community dick guys because I’m not trying to be eskimo sisters with my friends. But yeah, I hooked up during (and after) college. It’s not “snitching” on myself to say that
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 02:46 PM
1

I commented this to ratboy but yeah I don’t see what the big issue is with lying by omission. Especially nowadays since young people should assume non exclusivity until a specific conversation is had. If someone assumes it’s heading towards an LTR before that conversation is actually had, that’s kind of on them. My only issue is if the guy is explicitly saying he’s looking for something serious and is love bombing her and all
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 02:44 PM
2

Maybe you just mean men who are on campus to party, not literal “gangbangers”
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 02:17 PM
1

Yeah honestly I think stuff like this is fair. Especially if it’s paired with clearly casual activities like only going to each other’s places or dive bars. No fr dates. My only issue if a guy is explicitly all in the girl’s face about how he’s soo ready to fall in love and looking for a serious LTR rn
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 02:15 PM
2

You said “to them you are just a flavor of the week on rotation”, implying that women are restricting themselves to having sex with just that man and desperately chasing after them. Some men are just community dick. I went to an academically rigorous school so no, I don’t know.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 02:07 PM
1

Sounds like you weren’t actually a chadlite But again, not my circus not my monkeys
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 02:05 PM
1

Nah I’m not being obtuse. You are straw manning. There is literally a nearly 400 comment post from this week about the sexual revolution and it’s full of women saying there’s nothing inherently wrong with casual sex. Why are you equating casual sex with manipulating women? Did you know that it’s in fact possible for men below 8/10 to have casual sex without telling women that he’s looking for a serious relationship and then ghosting after having sex once?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 02:04 PM
1

Why do men here act like college women do not also treat men like a flavor of the week on rotation lmfao Also, gangbangers on a college campus?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 01:57 PM
1

I mean, yeah, that is what every guy says when he’s actually just looking for casual. There’s a reason I prefer women for casual. If a man can wax poetic about commitment or love bomb or whatever, only to turn around ghost after sex, that’s on his conscience. Not my circus not my monkeys
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 01:56 PM
1

I don’t know, what do you want? Do you want an LTR or to get your dick wet? Who is telling you that casual sex is the WORST thing? Sounds like a strawman. Plus I very clearly argued against explicitly lying in my original comment.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 01:54 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 01:35 PM

It’s not even really necessary to lie I feel like, saying “I’m open to whatever happens” is technically true because a decent amount of people looking for casual would drop everything if the perfect person came alone

Yeah, I dunno. I think a lot of college women would look at 1 in 5 women for completed or attempted rape or serious sexual assault and think yeah sounds about right. That number feels a bit low for my demographic (social, moderate drinkers) so feels believable for young women overall. I think surveying people about specific experiences rather than asking “are you a victim of rape” is particularly important. Also based on my observations/interactions, the number of men sexually assaulted/raped by…

Also, feminists seem to have a reeeeeeeeally hard time separating sexual assault and rape. SA could be "I got my ass grabbed as a concert once", and feminists will lump that in with rape. "Then there’s the statistic that gives John Foubert’s organization its name: one in four. That comes from a Justice Department survey of 4,000 college women in 2006 that found that nearly one-quarter of college women have survived rape or attempted rape in their lifetime, a figure that doesn’t account for sexua…

1 in 5 has been shown to be a horrible statistic where the questions asked were "have you or anyone you know been sexually assaulted". This isn't true. https://behavioralscientist.org/what-the-origins-of-the-1-in-5-statistic-teaches-us-about-sexual-assault-policy/

It’s complicated but data suggests that 22.5 - 25 is the ideal BMI range. There was a meta analysis in 2013 that actually found lowest all-cause mortality for overweight BMI individuals compared to anyone else. That meta-analysis came under heavy fire due to its methodology, though, and one re-analysis of data for 6 million people found that BMI 22.5-25 is optimal for longevity, especially for nonsmokers. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3806201/

I don’t even understand how the whole dad being in an apt thing happens. Doesn’t even a former housewife have to get a job after divorce? If the dad asks for approx equal custody don’t they have to sell the house and both move into medium size places that could support an adult + kids?

The whole first date paying thing is soo overblown. Broke women like students going for broke men don’t give a shit about splitting the bill. And even otherwise, obviously the first date should cost $5-7 each max like boba, bakery, coffee etc. For people making 6 figs maybe a beer garden or nice bar. The man offers to pay, the woman accepts or declines. They split for every date going forward. So easy! So simple!

I would distinguish between seeing a guy and thinking he’s kinda cute vs actually being physically attracted to him. But even then I really don’t think that’s common at all. Like I’ve been traveling for the past 1.5 days, around tons of people I’m observing, haven’t thought that once. That one guy I looked at and thought about sex immediately was when I was like 16-17, idk. I think I have to be around a guy, see him in action a bit. IMO a lot of PPD talking points fall apart when you remember that most women do enter an LTR at some point in their late teens and early-mid 20s. This idea that a majority of women just chase guys out of their league and get pumped and dumped throughout these years is nonsense.

The hookups that women will admit to are with men that are as attractive or more attractive than the guys they date. But at the end of the day a hookup is just a guy that’s getting your rocks off. He doesn’t have to be shown around publicly. And ONS especially tend to happen through a haze of non sobriety. So there’s a range in how good those guys actually look. My exes definitely had the best bodies (bc shared values around fitness).

Lol, there’s definitely times where there is just no accounting for taste. Just now while touching grass I was observing a mid-late 20s couple where the woman was pretty skinny and cute, like an American 7. Her boyfriend was like 5-6 face + beer belly + balding at the crown. He was ginger and like 6 ft tho. They were fawning over each other. The heart wants what it wants ig
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/24 10:02 AM

No, lol. It’s not a competition thing, at least not in my circles. One of my friends is athletic/6.5 prob and she just likes guys who are… plain faced. Last time she showed one someone was like “😀he looks like he’d look better in person”, trying so hard to be supportive but very clearly thinking he was totally unattractive. I think there’s just tons of subjectivity once you get below like 7 and women are fast to cast judgement. I remember one time a friend in high school was so thoroughly confus…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/24 09:58 AM

Lol saying your friend’s bf looks like a rat is unmatched Women have really, really different tastes. Huge joke on TikTok about women having to defend their new guy in the group chat. Literally like this salivating over a guy who is objectively like a 5 face wise <image> When I used to show a picture of me and my ex together my friends would just look at me like bffr. Yeah I looked into it a bit and it looks like a decent number of schools do offer some scholarships that are limited to women. Like Auburn has 67 scholarships available for women only. If it’s school funded and/or public funded that’s def a Title IX violation. Private donors that create a scholarship fund are different tho because they can stipulate anything (where I went to high school there were a decent number of region or even specific high school based scholarships at local universities)

I would be interested to see what % of men and women go into college with scholarships. And how many scholarships women are getting that limit to only female applicants. None of the scholarships I applied to were female only. They were mostly based on a test score cutoff, or were for applicants from a certain region. Or for student-athletes
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/24 09:39 PM

How short? If he’s 5’7” his pool is smaller but he should still be fine on a college campus. Below 5’6” is just tuff. I feel like few guys who genuinely put in some effort are just naturally 3 or below. For the one’s that are just genuinely shit out of luck, that’s tough. Depends on the extent of the autism. Overall factors like height do reduce the pool but completely struggling on a campus way skewed in your favor gender wise is ridiculous for most people.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/24 09:36 PM

Hmmm, alright, I’m going to be honest I didn’t even fully understand what you were saying in your second comment. But yeah idk I think attraction should be clear, the chemistry should build relatively fast. Don’t think it’s the first minute necessarily but I’ve definitely felt a turning point on a first or second date before
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/24 09:28 PM
1

Hmmmm some of your language choices are interesting to me. Did you love her and also feel loved by her? Like idk you keep saying that a relationship is about you supporting her, you caring for her, you listening to her bitch about work all the time. That you weren’t able to do all that (and you didn’t want to do all that), and that makes you undeserving of romance. That line of reasoning doesn’t make sense to me. But maybe I’m not understanding what you’re saying

3rd date hard rule in terms of what? An escalation from kissing? Or all the way to sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/24 09:09 PM
1

With the make out thing I was giving an example, not a rule. You don’t have to have a makeout session on the third date. My point is that it should be easy to tell that the woman is enthusiastic, attracted to you, and into the physical portion as well.

/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/24 08:57 PM

Who said anything about fucking? A kiss should happen in the first 2 dates and there should be physical escalation from that point. A long fully clothed lying down makeout session on the 3rd date is a clear indicator of attraction and passion, but it’s a far cry from sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/24 08:55 PM
1

Hmmm you’re right, most people do want to view themselves as average. Who knows who’s right.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/24 08:53 PM
4

I would find a man without any standards or desire for real connection repulsive. Maybe this is who this whole “beta buxx” thing happens, though. To me it seems pretty obvious that if a relationship is not passionately and consistently physical early on, that means you just don’t fit together and should walk away. Maybe men are noticing from the jump that there’s an issue but stay.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/24 08:40 PM
5

My issue is that I feel that men here, particularly the ones my age or younger, have little real experience with women and have created this very distorted view in their head. My point is that when you look at the pool of women who have engaged in casual sex, 12 partners in 1 month is on the extreme end. Within that pool, it’s nowhere near average. Yet it seems like young men here have built this view that the average single woman has a constantly revolving door of “chads”.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/24 08:35 PM
2

IMO it’s better to use a rate calculation. A person that racks a large number of bodies over a short period of time through ONS and then sticks to an FWB/gets into an LTR/takes a break has damaged their ability to pair bond, I think. I can agree with 20+ overall by 25 tho.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/24 08:21 PM
4

So, a woman who’s had casual sex doesn’t lose the ability to pair bond if she has protective factors like education, money, and a good ability to vet?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/24 08:18 PM
3

Okay, sure dozens sounds like 36+ or something. Yeah that’s rare. But let’s be honest. The men here have a much, much lower threshold for what they consider promiscuous. Just a few days ago I was told that 10 bodies = community bicycle
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/24 08:09 PM
3

Wouldn’t you rather take the significantly lower chance of divorce even if it means that if a divorce does happen it’ll almost for sure be initiated by the woman? Casual sex is very, very common on college campuses. “Riding the cock carousel” is some weird red pill thing but the reality is that having some level of sexual activity outside of a committed relationship is viewed as normal in college.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/24 08:07 PM
1

Could you explain the good girl gf vs slutty fwb dichotomy. In what way did you treat her like a slutty FWB? In sounds like, to me, that maybe you were in this relationship and from the jump you were thinking something like “why is she even with me?” or “I’m inevitably going to fuck this up”. Does this sound accurate to you?

Higher education is correlated with lower divorce rates. Individuals with a Bachelor’s degree or more have a divorce rate of 25.9%. And divorce rates have been going down since the 80s - “nearly 78 percent of college-educated women who were married for the first time between 2006 and 2010 can expect their marriages to last at least two decades”. https://divorce-education.com/divorce-rate-by-education-level/#:~:text=The%20Census%20Bureau%20reported%20the,levels%20and%20lower%20divorce%20rates.

12 different partners in 1 month is extreme. The men here tend to dunk on lower body counts over a long period of time.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/24 07:29 PM
5

This is not true in my experience. The women I know who’ve been in LTRs and had plenty of (healthy) casual sex between relationships have had no problem following in love and attaching to a new guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/24 07:27 PM
3

No, they’re not. The first scenario looks like a woman coming into college and getting with different guys because she doesn’t feel attractive (or like she’s worth anything, or getting out of a relationship and immediately getting with different guys to try to fill that emotional void, or trying to get with all the ex’s guy friends as revenge, etc. Those scenarios are very different from having FWBs/sneaky links and maybe ONS between long term relationships.

Relationship with parents tends to be a good predictor for promiscuous behavior that’s being used as a validation bandaid for insecurity and poor self concept. What I don't understand about this take is it seems to imply that women go for casual sex or have situationships in their youth and then switch over to LTRs in their late 20s or whatever. Most women aren't like that tho -- IME most women who have casual sex have a mix of LTRs and FWBs/maybe ONS in their teens and early-mid 20s. And the couples I've known didn't exactly move slowly (assuming they had both had sex before). Maybe this'll change as as we get older..? But I don't see why it would

The % of men who would violently rape a stranger is way way way lower than the % of men who have sexually assaulted or raped someone tbh. With the "would you rather be raped or killed" post I was like for sure killed (quickly) but still for man vs bear it wasn't a harm*risk calculation that made sense. And I have always been able to fight Plus so many guys are just like cutie, my children, the ones younger than me and also the elderly

Strength or even just a helping hand or extra pair of eyes help. Communication and interaction alone is also big… why do you think solitary confinement is basically considered torture? Now you're just saying that it's easier for two people to survive together...? I also said most women. I’d venture to say that most women aren’t former scouts who have retained amazing survival skills well into adulthood. Add in a fuck ton of women in middle america, regardless of whether they did girl scouts. And…

Ok, any strange man. What does that mean tho? Let's take one example of commonly given advice to women: if you don't know a man well, do not accept a drink from him. If he's buying you a drink, make sure you get it directly from the bartender. Is that not inherently viewing any given man you're on a date with or met at a bar or whatever as a potential threat?

/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 08:03 PM

I tend to say that, it's an exaggeration to make a point. Guys appear to evaluate their looks solely through the lens of female attention, and seem to assume that women do the same. Of course male attention is a big factor, but there are so many other things at play. Women understand very, very young that looks will hugely influence all aspects of their life and their perceived worth as a person. A big one is relationship with mothers. Many Gen X and older women tie so much of their self worth t…

And you responded "Have you been eatin alive by a bear asshole and stomach first? that's just much higher intensity torture than what that japanese women went through"

*You* would.

Uhhh I just skimmed her case and how can you say "much higher intensity torture"? Have you been gang raped? Have you been repeatedly beaten, raped, and tortured for 40 days? Have you been forcefully anally sodomized? Have you been burned on your arms and legs with lighter fluid?

Interesting. This might be a cultural thing that Gen Z American women aren't nearly as big on

Who's more likely to be alpha widowed, a woman who's had 2 LTRs with great men who broke up with her, or a woman who had 1 LTR that was fine but mutually ended + 8 casual partners (mix of FWB, ONS, and a failed talking stage or 2)?

You did the exact same thing, jumping straight to the extreme of "town bicycle". Comical

I mean I’m sure that guy meant after the situation had escalated to the point that they were back at his place and all… and on subsequent meet ups

There’s a huge range amongst women in terms of their level of fear. I would hazard a guess that the fear level of American women is higher because fear of strangers is basically part of our national ethos. White women also seem on average more afraid. I’ve noticed the same of women in relationships (maybe because they interact with random men less)

Oh okay ig this set up makes sense if both are working but there’s a pretty big discrepancy

That one red pill man who said that when he has women over he gets them naked ASAP may be the biggest brain person here. Not even in a sexual way but like skin-to-skin under a blanket

I think generally people who are pushovers or don’t get advocate for themselves get steamrolled. Confidence with an edge of arrogance is important

I have to think that there’s a reason these spaces are so disproportionately white men. Few people actually grow up with such a coddled world view.

And yet both boys and girls sort into groups based on looks, athleticism, and competence very, very early

Do people not understand that bitches and assholes get ahead in life by the time they’re like… 9? Or maybe 12? And then ascend in the several years after that?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 03:01 PM

12? You’re telling me that I was in elementary school and normal BMI and using the family computer to look up weight loss pills and there are men out here that are so stupid that they don’t understand the importance of looks until after they’re 12? Yoi’re telling me that girls start spending hours before school to get ready and limit their food intake to their morning Dunkin run and guys just… are blind? “What men consider black pill, women consider common sense” has some truth to it. Of course …
