As said in other reactions most of us do not have the training or the background information to advise you about your psychological conditions. Seek the help of a MALE psychologist to deal with those. Why a male, you may ask? Since part of your (resulting) problems seem to be sexual in nature you want the person that you trust with these issues and that advises you in them not to be part of them. Chances are if the psychologist is female you might unconsciously transfer part of the issues regard…

I advice you to keep that mentality.....war can seriously f#ck a man up. If you have to fight, do it out of self-preservation not because some old men or women in a comfy chair decided that your life is expandable for some "greater cause".

The signs are there but they are being ignored or are being attributed to other factors. With massive government debt and it only increasing future generations will sooner or later pay the price. I personally believe that things will break but till it actually does we are getting dragged deeper and deeper into the swamp.....stay safe out there!

I used to play a game called "The Wrestling Game". It had some good federations and the shows were fun to be part of. However the game struggled to improve overtime while with graphical possibilities vastly improving it definitely should have. Doing the same stuff day in day out just to stay competitive tends to get boring. I think it really went downhill in 2015-2016 by that time I had already left. You mentioned government games....I still play "NationStates" which basically comes down to you …

Exactly....now attractiveness is a subjective thing but calling them ALL below average in the looks department is a bit harsh and makes me wonder what highschool some guys here went to. Considering a large portion of the youth including girls in the western world is overweight I don't see any of these girls falling in the bottom 50-percentile......yet. .....and you think the "Matrix"-franchise will somehow escape that trend with these people at the helm. Lana Wachowski (born June 21, 1965 and formerly known as Larry Wachowski)[1] and Lilly Wachowski (born December 29, 1967 and formerly known as Andy Wachowski)[2] are American film and television directors, writers and producers.[3] The sisters are both trans women.[4][5][6] ......i fear they won't stop at just "woke".

--"what is he doing" --"he is beginning to believe" This is exactly what is happening. The simple truth is that women have used their social powers to shape society in an attempt to optimize their dual-mating strategy options (securing what they deem high quality genes from one mate, while securing long term investment from another) while minimising the options of most men.

Agreed, but he could have had severe mental health problems BEFORE the divorce which eventually led to that divorce. We can have a discussion about if whether or not it is her matrimonial duty to help him overcome those problems but she claims she tried and failed and decided to cut-and-run. We know far too little about this particular case to pass judgement or to blame her for his death. Either way the bottom line is "don't get married".
/r/MGTOW11/08/20 10:55 AM

The best answer I've seen on here. My mother suffers from bipolar. I asked my father once if he knew this before he got married to her. He gave me one of those "you really think I would have gone through with this if I had known I would sign-up for this sh!t"-looks. Gentlemen NEVER stick your dick in crazy and if you are suffering from depression yourself also stay away from relationships. Focus on becoming more stable by yourself cause that other person might leave at any time.

I usually agree with you but being a vet and going to the veteran affairs it suggests he had other mental health problems. I am not saying she didn't play her part but having to deal with a partner that has mental issues is not any easy task regardless of gender. Exactly..... If she is not willing to budge then OP should make it clear that marriage is off the table. I don't understand why people get married in this day and age in the first place. You don't need a contract with the state to inform the outside world or each other that you care about each other. It is first and foremost a legal and economical contract. My assumptions are based on the information he is providing. He doesn't need to brag but he mentions her having a job but fails to disclose his own employment status. On top of it it is kind of relevant for the situation he is in. If his wife currently is the only breadwinner it affects the "power" balance in their relationship. To what part? Except for the extreme south Netherlands is indeed mostly as flat as a pancake. They have some pretty decent indoor climbing halls and some of the coolest outside climbing walls though. The Excalibur in Groningen is as far as I know the tallest climbing wall in the world. The Campus Climbing Wall in Enschede is also worth a visit as are the Silo Climbing Walls in Amsterdam. The Ardennes although not exactly mountains are a drive of a couple of hours away if you live in the south.

A lot of men are taught (and believe) that "saving the damsel in distress" is about the noblest and most valuable thing a "real man"(TM) can do. So they see this as a golden opportunity to prove themselves. They also believe that doing something like that will earn her affection.....in most cases it doesn't. What I am definding here is a man's right to make his own choices without being subjected to shaming of ANY sort. People that throw the term "simps" and "cucks" around as the new flavour of the month are no different as the feminists that "decided" that all women should no longer become housewives. Both groups are neglecting thousands of years of biological programming. If some guy wants to go down that path while being informed of the possible consequences it is his individual right to see if t…

Is this Men Going Their Own Way or Any Men That Does Something Nice Is By Definition a Simp? There are plenty of reasons why a man could decide to do this besides being a simp. Hell, Augustus was adopted by Julius Caesar. Ceasar was many things but a simp wasn't one of them. The point is men shouldn't be pressured to do this or be shamed if they decide NOT to do this and for your information this sub doesn't seek to eradicate anything from society and it was never meant as an activism platform. …

Why the negativity? As long as it is his choice and it is not because of outside pressure that he feels he needs to do this I can respect that choice. It wouldn't be my choice but that is a different discussion entirely. If this dude wants to go captain-save-a-ho let him.

Thank you for these wise words. I have witnessed that exact thing several times. Women are primarily emotional creatures and they want to be assured that you will love them no matter what. Even disregarding morality issues there is plenty wrong with capitalism as the ultimate economic system. Planned obsolescence as mentioned above is on of those flaws. Saying that it will cost 100x more, [insert username] . There are plenty of examples where it only cost a fraction more to significantly increase the lifespan of a product. I agree with you for the most part.....most people fail to see that a relationship is a trade off. You give up "some" of your freedom both in time and financially for companionship and practical and emotional support and when the going is still good for sexual intercourse and a chance to fulfill your biological programming. Most people in practice will value the latter 2 way above their freedom. That is fine, it is their life and their choice. My choice is different. From an evolutionary point I…

I am staying as far away from the whole "gender"-discussion as I can. We have nothing to gain there. Not my circus, not my monkeys.

No, as a matter of fact it is not. I have no desire to have children but our biological hardware keeps telling us we need to procreate. Most men can't shake that biological programming and when society supports that ingrained desire sooner or later a lot of them will succumb to it...… and some actually do enjoy it. You can't look inside the mind of this guy nor can you tell him that his life will be destroyed by children somewhere along the line. I personally wouldn't advise it but that is a dif…

It all depends on your own preferences. Fellow Ducth MGTOW here. Having....correction raising children can bring a lot of joy but it is not for everyone. It should be a life choice not something that should be done by everyone for more than one reason. If you really want children go for it but if you are like "meh" don't let society, your parents or your partner pressure you to get them. You might enter a world of hurt and suffering.....and there are enough people as it is!!!!

Okay, maybe I deserve this reply and being called a "sarcastic little scroat" and "a bit of a dick" but I don't like people propagating "wisdom" without establishing the proper context first and without having something more to back it up than (some) individual observations. Yes, I know what you meant but that might not go for everyone. If you follow your initial advice literally, hence the quotes, people might enter a world of hurt. Exactly....I had the same discussion when the Dutch team won the European Championship last time. They really do want the government to step up and pay these women their "fair share". The men are getting overpaid (at their clubs) but at least there is some kind of silly free market behind it. But to put the women at the same or even higher wage level is incomprehensible to anyone with even basic knowledge of the economics behind football.

I am from The Netherlands. Our female team won the last European Championship. The same argument about equal pay popped up then. So I asked the woman who brought up the issue if she had bought season tickets to see the female team of FC Twente play next season. The answer was `no´. I asked her if she was willing to pay € 5 euro's to see the next friendly game of our national team live on television. The answer was again 'no'. I am with AeternusDoleo on this one. This is sketchy at best. The problem with these posts is that the focus is still on the woman and not on you. Who gives a shit if she finds you more attractive. That would only complicate matters if she decides she still ´wantsyou or your genes. Even after you have made it abundantly clear that her and herwants` have no direct influence on how you live your life.

Bro, just do your own thing. Having a girlfriend is not the end of the world. Experience the nature of women first hand. Live and learn. Just don't knock one up, marry them or live with them. I don't know your age but it sounds like you have enough time ahead of you to still go monk mode later on if that is your thing. Then again I wouldn't suggest replying to your ex. You have to take into consideration that the boyfriend might not just take the news and thank you. He could go all bonkers and before you know it you are in the middle of some relationship drama you never asked for. She no longer is your problem. Strangely the same goes for most relationships with women. They invested too much time, money and emotions in it to walk away when it starts to turn bad. Some do but unless they have status and / or money they are punished harshly for it especially if you are the high earner and were foolish enough to put a ring on it when the going was still good. Women on the other hand will walk away the minute something shinier comes along and even when that fails they are in most cases rewarded for it with …

The main goal of the French government is to eliminate the so-called pull factors, if not to force migrants to leave the country as soon as possible. And if it is, then maybe one of the best ways to get on with real life is to let go of your imaginary girlfriend, choose to see the beauty in real women, and end the long wait for a good lady who will be a blessing to you for the rest of your life."......oohh tradcon grandpa you are so funny https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dpsc67MywgE

Based on that one time you went to visit their forum when you felt lonely to drop your gender card so you could feed on their attention and you got your ass banned in a nanosecond! Maybe you should stop focussing about what you think others are like and focuss more on what you want to be like as a person. All the best with that!!

Exactly.....but when those other women start asking her why Mr. Billionaire super jock handy husband hasn't appeared in her life yet to save the day it is A) because we are all trash and fail to meet her "modest" requirements and B) because she doesn't need a man because she is "all that". Just reverse the genders in this story and people start asking what drugs you are on or what mental hospital you walked out from.

I disagree....women are judged by men on their physical beauty and their presumed ability to birth children, men on their social status. So it is a valid comparison about what each gender finds attractive about their partner. The story about high or medium status men going for a second "lay" or batch doesn't come from nowhere. We have our own hypergamy. It is a phenomenon that has been noticed by statistic agencies aswell. Being fat is (by most men) considered to be a turn-off. I have seen women…

As you seem to like names based on history. I would go with Agusto (which is Spanish for August or Augustus after the Roman emperor) and "a gusto" means "comfortable" or "at home". Having a healthy daughter (if you are sure she is biologically yours to begin with) that reaches adulthood gives you the best odds in a strictly biological sense of having your genes in the generation after her cause the likelyhood of a woman having her own children far outweighs the chances of the average man having his own children.

This....we have entered an age where women are encouraged to act on that part of their biology that society tried to control for so long (hypergamy etc.). Nature brought her everything she needed to get our attention (at least mine) then and for some decades to come but somewhere in the early 00's some marketeer must have said something about other girls being more skinny and having fuller lips and she went overboard with work-outs, dieting and plastic surgery. Another example of a fine girl/woman getting (too) much attention when she was young that couldn't handle aging and the resulting reduction in her aesthetic value.....SAD!…

Spoken like a wise men. He is basing a lot off his beliefs on the process of evolution and mating strategies. A method I tend to agree with. And he doesn't "judge" it but is always looking for logical reasons why something is the way it is. His premise that most men and women will be most happy in a stable mutual beneficial relationship still rings true to me...however finding, building and maintaining that relationship is slowly becoming like the twelve labours of Heracles. Second we are not "m…

Partly....but it is mostly about "control" and turning the whole thing into another "social event". Most women thrive on those things. All of a sudden everybody needs to come dressed in fan gear and needs to bring an approriate "snack"......as annoying as that is i am willing to go along with that to preserve the peace but as soon as the wives/gfs start to chatter through the game I will not come over to watch a game at your house ever again. I am here to follow the game all the rest is noise.

Good post. The unwritten and untold but shared code of conduct and moral boundaries amongst my long term friends used to be my guide through life. If you broke it you had some serious explaining to do if you still wanted to be part of the group. Somewhere along the line it got all tossed overboard as "too complicated" and it turned into a free-for-all with the women thinking they can get away with stuff that would have gotten them chased out of the village less than a century ago. I am not again…

I don't mind transexuals. If that makes you happy go for it. In fact I fully support their right to be themselves whatever that is. Just don't get all upset when I use the "wrong" pronoum when I greet you or anything like that. You do you and let me do me. But why are you here if you think we are a hate group and the mods are bigots??

I don't see what you gain by trying to explain to her why she has no value to you. The 2 most likely outcomes are that she will either double down on her efforts trying to snatch you or that she will shame you for being a "gay virgin loser". Neither of the outcome seem very beneficial. You are allowed your little power trip but I don't feel the need to entertain or educate women about themselves. Let society (who failed to do that in the first place) sort them out.

That show is now a vehicle to raise another batch of harder to reach male slaves and shows women exactly how to do it. Condone, show interest and even participate in some of their "weird" hobies and interests and slowly wiggle your way into their life and before you know it you can make it all about your relationship drama. Just read the season recaps on the official site. What used to be a show about male friendship amongst an often overlooked and ridiculed sub-culture has become all about dati…

Exactly...some douchebag males abused their position of power and mostly women whether they were actual victims or not decided it was time to wage full-on war with male sexuality. Instead of fighting back men decided to do some evasive maneuvering and let the storm blow over and let these independent and powerfull women have the space they needed to excel.......solid plan!! Just to check, you do realize you are on MGTOW right!? People will look at the same picture and make different assumptions from it. You see a good girlfriend trying to show interest in her boyfriends hobby and work and supporting him in his achievements. Many MGTOW see a manipulating parasite that apparantly got him a reward for being a good future ATM. Either scenario could indeed be true but as the reward seems to be useless by itself (game and console are from a different brand) revealing tha…

I don't think it is the act of getting her boyfriend something that pisses people of. It is the way it was worded. The word "rewarded" suggests that she only got him something for doing something she wanted him to do. Like a kid gets a new toy for cleaning their room or a dog gets a treat for performing in a dog show. If we would reverse genders it would be something like:"I lost 10 pounds and came home to this reward (a fancy lingerie set) from my boyfriend."

Well said....I have a reply in similair terms without referring to the Matrix in a different topic about Peterson. He talks about general obserations and I think you and him are right. Peterson is a scientist and specialises in clinical psychology. He talks in generalizations based on empirical evidence. Overall I think he is right. Being MGTOW is not for everybody. It is not as simply as: "once you know, you go.......your own way". Most of us have an innate desire to find a (soul-)mate and to be "loved" and "respected" by someone or something. The "idea" is not that all people to stop procreating but that we are free to choose IF, WHEN and HOW we want to procreate. The name (MGTOW) and this forum migh…

First of all thank you for best wishes. I am glad we can have a civil conversation about this. I am not looking to shut down men's ability to criticze women but I do hope this sub won't get hijacked by people that turn it into a platform for their vendetta against women. My bet is it won't take her 7 years. Despite (still) being fine A.F. this specimen has several "issues". One of those is that she needed constant validation from both men and other women that she is relevant and beautifull. Motherhood has put that need on the backburner for a while but I have a gut feeling that it will rear its ugly head again..... and I fear that won't take 7 years.

A ladyfriend of mine told me that if she didn't find an "acceptable" guy to have a kid with within the year she would get pregnant and raise the kid by herself. I never understood if that was a proposal to become her beta-bux and put some pressure on me or if that was just the "baby rabies" talking. Anyhow I passed and she quickly found a much younger, more attractive but also more gullible individual to "have fun with it". Within six month she got pregnant.......so far it is all working out fin…

So you did pay attention in class....now answer me this who and what caused these subprime mortgages and what do you think the sentence "resell loans and mortgages as repackaged securities or derivatives" actually means? Exactly what you said in your sentence above....so nobody is trying to distort "shit" and who is "you types"? Look I don't mind explaining stuff and you keep asking questions but you seem to be in some kind of mindset where you like to test your debating skills or are just plain…

Are you referring to the "Amazons"?? If historically accurate and that is a big if it was probably more like a tribe than an actual civilization. But hey....more power to them make a (couple of) movies about them and let's get on with it. However the vast majority of historical fighting was done by men. This is a movie about one of those fights. She is free to not like it but her argument that it is not a good movie because it is clearly designed about men and for men is like saying that the bra…

That era......they want to rewrite f-ing history. Human history is the combined effort of man and woman there is no dispute about that. Woman however do not seem content with their "current" role in history. In fact as often they do not know what they want. On the one hand they want to be able to play the victim card when it suits them: A) we have been oppressed by the patriarchy B) Yet on the other hand they want to showcase all their great achievements and go all "girl power yeah"....I can und…

Dude....are you for real or do you like trolling the subs!!!? Have you been living under a rock for like the last couple of decades!!? Fine I'll take the bait. Here we go: The operating principles of the big banks and most multinationals is a cesspool of greed, ethics and criminal intent and they give a very bad name to free market capitalism. During the housing bubble Wall street was considered the heart and soul of free market capitalism, but when they were in danger of total collapse they fel…

Personally I am against the unchecked accumulation of power by corporations and the government. I am not proclaiming that (any form) of anarchism is or will be the solution but it is hard to deny that both corporations and "the state" have become "too big too fail" and are therefore often more interested in keeping "the system" running than in serving it's customers/citizenry!!

We are against corporate power AND government power but in favour of the power of the individual.

Nice read.....you definitely have storytelling skills but to quote Bud Bundy when trying to explain something to his sister "you can't be this dumb" after which Kelly replied "I can be anything I want to be.....it is the nineties". This "story" like married with children has parody written all over it and while reading it several alarm bells went off. You are leaving out key details and the behaviour and intelligence you attribute to your sister and yourself seems erratic. How on the one hand ca…

His later point is that it is bad for the planet and its inhabitants to encourage population growth and consumerism both now and for the future. Both of these systems are not leading us anywhere except to the doom of our planet and our species. His initial point was that governments should focuss on the short and long term well-being of it's citizens and the environment (the country) they live on instead of handing over money and (decision) power to undemocratic organizations that mostly only se…

I wouldn't call it a disease....more a trap. At least when people get married for "love". As Tina said "what's love got to do with it" marriage was and is mainly a social and economical contract..and usually a bad one for the one with the higher value in both areas. The progressive western world looks down on "arranged" marriages but they were there for a reason. The reason being to prevent "bad" deals for either party. Marriages once were beneficial to both parties as long as both parties respe…

The ability to travel signals status and value to other people and as we all know people love to do that. Like many things (the kind of salary you make, the car you drive, the college your kids go to) it is all a competition. I never was much of a traveler but I do enjoy my sailing trips which seems to rank high on Cosmo's "dream vacation trips you must do"-list so people get all interested. We always put the "I'm on a boat"-song by Lonely Island under the vacation pictures on social media to la…

Golden nuggets like this makes me appreciate this sub. Society and religion are trying to make us believe we are these wonderfull beings of logic. They tell us that anytime we deviate from this path is "lack of character" or a "sin" and therefore punishable. For centuries they tried to eliminate our animalistic urges with rules and guidelines. However our economy depends on exploiting the same urges they tried to eliminate and so breaking those guidelines now hardly has any repurcusions anymore.…

Walk away son......just walk away!!! I'm not here to tell you what MGTOW is and what it is not but religion and red pill can make an explosive cocktail. Religion tells you to have faith in a supreme being.....MGTOW tells you to F#(k that faith and create your own destiny. "Who are you carrying all those bricks for anyway? God? Is that it? God? Well, I tell ya, let me give you a little inside information about God. God likes to watch. He’s a prankster. Think about it. He gives man instincts. He g…

Real or not and still rare I've seen or heard these kind of confessions more frequent lately but it still doesn't change a g#dd%!n thing. Like others said it could be a hail mary attempt to signal virtue (and value) to {blocked out name} or to the general public to generate attention and sympathy or even to entice another "good" man. Question is if she has something to offer and if so if that is of particular value to you.....I suspect not. Chances are she will also revert back to her "good-men-…

This comment has a lot of content. If you allow me I would like to break it down: "We are like a spoiled, third generation immigrant that has gotten fat off our father's hard work, and we've never lived a hard life, so we create all this conflict and drama within ourselves". This probably doesn't apply to all the people on this sub but I think it does apply to at least a significant proportion of the Western World in general and also this sub. Unfortunately it also does include me. I am aware th…

You sound like a smart guy. I am one of the countless men who tried to understand women (in general) and their nature. Although RP-theories seem to explain a large part of their behaviour it is far from bulletproof (although followers of the theory here and on other forums will claim otherwise....e.g. AWALT and such). I personally don't believe that a lot of their behaviour is planned and/or conscious. It comes from instinct but it is finetuned and becomes "learned/developed" over the years. How…

Some of the wisest words I've seen.....The essence of a man accoridng to society (and by women) always boils down to how good you can fit a role....he is a great father, a good businessman, a romantic husband etc. Other values or personality traits are appreciated but not valued. Hence to whole "nice" guy situation. Society and women tells you being "nice" is importantant but when it comes to judging someone it carries little to no value but I digress. To a lot of women this sense of self-import…

First: He says she never has so her age is not a decisive factor in this. Second: Being over 70 does not make you retarded or unable to do small housework. Third: Who died and made you the moral authority? This is MGTOW not the caretakers of the elderly convention. Just because she gave birth to him does not mean he has to cater for her later on. Exactly even in my blue pill days I had the common sense to get to know her and her friends, study their behaviour and do some research on their history. Sure I got ridiculed by my friends and got me friendzoned a number of times but it sure as hell saved me from a lot of drama. It is a double edged sword. Men are avoiding marriage (and relationships in general) because it is high risk with doubtfull rewards. And women are avoiding / ending relationships because the men or the relationship itself are not meeting their expectations. My advice: grab some popcorn and watch the (relation-)shit unfold!!

Sorry to hear you are in a "wrong" place at the moment but I am not sure this is the right place to ask for advice. I am no authority on what makes a MGTOW a MGTOW but your demeanour needs to change a lot if you want this lifestyle to work for you. I see a lot of "hamsterring" to reduce your own agency. One of the things that stand out is that you (still) seem to put a lot of value on the opinions of others: Why the branded clothing???? Why alcohol???? Why all the meds???? Why trying to bang hot…

Not just females.......humans are animals. Religion and the powers that be just like us to think that we are all rational and enlightened beings with no connection to our animalistic origin. So they have oppressed any animalistic behaviour and label it as "bad". And they will punish you if you get caught displaying animalistic behaviour. The thing is society is coming down hard on "male animalistic" behaviour like (sexual) aggression and independency and gets more and more lenient towards "femal…

You raise an interesting topic that is often overlooked in this subreddit and even more in "public" life. The fact that we are by nature still "just" animals. We are tought to believe (by religion and teachings from kindergarden onwards) that modern humans (Homo Sapiens Sapiens) either through millions and millions of years of evolution or by the grace of a divine creator are mostly rational creatures and that our behaviour will reflect that. In the case of a non-religious human by striving for …

Let's just say we agree to disagree......I like people who like to think on their own. What exactly is wrong with this girl's line of thinking??? She expected something more exciting than the data entry job she got. A lot of people would kill to get a job like that but that is not how our brain and especially a woman's brain work. If something fails to meet the expectations it leads to diminished happiness. It doesn't matter how unrealistic the expectations were to start with. Men are a bit more…

I know that is a popular way at looking at the "value" of a woman. Where mostly if not all of the value is derived from her her physical beauty, her willingness to have sex with you and her ability to bear your children. Personally I think a woman can bring a lot more to the table than just that. The problem is that once they "have the ring" the power dynamics in a relationship change and there is little incentive for them to keep bringing the 3 things mentioned above let alone the rest of it. T…

A) He shouldn't have married her in the first place B) Marriage is an economical contract. The moral part of the contract is implied and even stated very clearly but holds little value in today's society. So when the economical value of the contract turns negative and exceeds the costs of ending the contract (splitting your assets and alimony) he should have gotten the hell out. A lot in this sub seems to revolve around getting money. But money should always be a means to an end. Money is just t…

Well written story.....however still written with the mindset that it all revolves around looking for the (sexual) approval of women. The lesson here is that is futile to seek the constant approval of women especially when it leads to any form of (official) relationship.
