I was expressing my past experiences, not describing the present. As for why I did such a thing, it was because I was raised by a single mother, female teachers, female cousins, and aunts, surrounded by women and repeatedly told to hold girls to the same standards as boys. When I occasionally go out with a woman, I always split the bill. I remember my bluepill days when I would pay for dinner and feel like an idiot afterwards, every time.
