On a scale from 1 to 10 how much patience do you still have for this shit? I'm a man and have been solidly a Democrat since I was probably 13 or 14 and started paying attention to politics. When I first joined this sub a couple of years ago, I enjoyed the back and forth. As much as I consider myself as an egalitarian and supporter of feminism, I was never comfortable with how little push back the most radical subsections of feminism got from the mainstream of it. It was always "oh I don't believ…

He is literally saying he is salt farming and looking to provoke people. He's just being a dick, he has no interest in this beyond that.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/24 04:30 AM

Wow, an Australian who's being an insufferable prick online, what a surprise.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/24 03:16 AM

Pretty sure he is kidding on the square here. It's a joke, but he means it too.

Did you forget that incel is a portmanteau word? Hint - the phrase starts with involuntary

This is literally pure undiluted conspiracy theory shit. This was constant for years and nearly unchallenged. How can you? People will just regurgitate another lie talk radio fed them.

Most of the polls about the economy that I saw were a majority of people saying the economy is bad, but they are doing better than before. Hmm almost like there is a fire hose of disinformation that's been running constantly since 2020 and the popular perception that the economy is bad is artificial. The actual metrics are all doing pretty good right now. Looking forward to Republicans instantly deciding the economy is good now as soon as Trump is sworn in.

lol, get back to me you have over 6 months worth of engagement. this is so lazy.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/24 06:59 AM

I would screenshot your reply as an example of the general right wing desire to hurt people vs do their fucking jobs, but your account is barely a month old, I'm not going to waste time arguing with a sock that probably got banned 5 times already.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/24 06:46 AM

I read a lot of ridiculous posts on this sub, but I think this one has to take the crown.

This is simply an intractable difference of opinion between women and men. I was torn apart on a different sub a few days ago for voicing what I thought were reasonably thoughtful comments. Opinions seem very hardened that asking for a paternity test is worthy of nuking the relationship, but phone snooping is fine if you find evidence confirming your suspicions or insecure thoughts but also not fine but not necessarily relationship ending if you don't. Going forward, I don't think I will weigh i…

The end result of your logic chain is that she is just being female Andrew Tate so why should anyone care. You DO vilify "alpha bros", so why are you hand waving those behaviors away when they are exhibited by a woman? Because female Andrew Tate can fuck off right alongside male Andrew Tate.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/23 02:32 AM

Tate is vilified by by the vast majority of people. As he should be. Are you saying you like Andrew Tate and think he is a person that we should be emulating?

I usually have a pretty good tolerance for long posts, but holy fuck. I checked out completely and gave up around the 2/3 mark.

There is a huge middle ground between pouring your heart and soul out to a woman after your first date and the type of red pill game playing stuff that you are describing. Most women appreciate someone who shows some definite interest (ie texts them back promptly) but are put off by huge over the top displays of emotions at a very early stage of the relationship.

Ahh, that does change things. I think I am going to have to revise my opinion and agree with some of the other people here that you came on too strong.

Disclaimer: I am not a red piller. I agree with you, she did use you for sex. She clearly had multiple people she was talking to and decided she liked the other guy more. She still wanted to have sex with you though, hence the one date and done timeframe with you. She is now free to go exclusive with the person she clicked better with and she didn't technically cheat on anyone (even though her new exclusive boyfriend probably would not be to happy to know she was having casual sex with other peo…

My significant other has her finances much more tightly organized than I do. If anything, I think I have met more women with strong budgeting skills than men. In any case, I don't really think this a strongly gendered issue.

It's kind of funny to read all of these commenters saying how they don't really think of younger women as children when I have seen so freaking many commenters on age gap relationships in the relationship subs and twoxchromosomes call the dude in the relationship a literal pedophile and get hundreds of upvotes for it.

I personally don't care for tattoos, I don't have any and I probably will never have any. To me there is nothing so central to my identity that I would want it immortalized on my skin. I don't tend to find them attractive on women, but they aren't usually a huge turn off either depending on the tattoo. All that being said, my long term partner has gotten two since we've been together. She really likes tattoos and thinks they are cool. She hasn't suddenly gotten more promiscuous since she got ink…

Kind of crazy how the restaurant industry just collectively decided that the default tip should now be 20% instead of the universal US standard of 15%. If servers need to be paid more, the restaurants should raise their prices and tips will go up correspondingly. I'm tired of tipping 20% for the bare minimum.

So anytime a man opens up to a woman about his mental health or insecurities it's out of an attempt to manipulate them in to having sex? That's one hell of a take. I'm sorry if that has been your experience with the men you know.

This is a discussion about opening up to your significant other, not your coworker. What you are describing are a bunch of creeps trying to get in your pants, not your long-term boyfriend confiding about their insecurities to you. Not really the same thing.

Jennifer Lopez would have no trouble finding a man in his 20's that finds her desirable. Jennifer can pull the same type of young attractive social climber that Leo can.

I think a big piece of this discussion that is often misunderstood is that being black out drunk does not preclude you from giving affirmative consent. If someone wakes up next to a strange person who they maybe wouldn't have had sex with sober and they can't remember what happened at the end of the night, they might then conclude they were too drunk to have consented to sex. That is simply not always true. You can be blackout drunk and still appear functional to the people around you.

Honestly, no. While I don't make a huge deal about it, I wish it hadn't been done to me. There has been a pretty big cultural shift on this issue in the last 20 years in the US.

It really isn't though. I came across this comment yesterday and they summed up FDS and other pill communities far better than I ever could.

I don't have any original thoughts that haven't already been offered up by someone else in the comments, but I did recently run across this comment that breaks down FDS and other pilled communities the best way I've ever seen it done. It cuts right to the heart of it in my opinion.

It's not an appeal to emotion argument. You are being disingenuous. It is annoying to argue with someone who is being disingenuous, hence my annoyed "emotional" response.

Ok, fine woman can only perform abortions on themselves. That makes a ton of sense. I'm in awe of your logic.

I think you should be able to take all the steroids you want. Your other examples have a huge potential for predatory abuse.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/21 06:15 PM

Pro life supporters are trying to make performing the procedure illegal. They are the ones trying to force people. Nobody is saying doctors should be forced to provide abortions. The ones who are willing to do the procedure should be allowed to. I don't think you understand what a red herring is.

How would you sell yourself into slavery? Wouldn't your master then just automatically own the money he paid you since he now owns you? The idea doesn't even make sense. The idea the you can sign a waiver in order to die for another person's profit would obviously be extremely problematic due to issues with coercion. These ideas don't make actual sense. If you want to argue that you should legally be allowed to kill yourself, I would support that.

You're also not forced to donate organs to people who need them against your will which is a much more apt comparison than the ridiculous examples you have listed. Pro-life people want to give a non sentient blob of cells more rights than an adult woman based off a fairy tale.

Be careful to not fall prey to alternate sources of propaganda. I don't necessarily disagree with with anything I've seen you comment on this post so far, but people who use the term mainstream media (especially if they use it so much they need to abbreviate it) usually are consuming a lot of right wing "news" sources with even less to practically no fact checking than the "mainstream" sources they complain about. Traditional news outlets have biases, but they attempt to mitigate their biases at…

I hate to be that guy, but it was Tommy Lee Jones who delivers that line. Great line though.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/21 04:35 AM

I highly recommend getting a portable one. I had one before we bought our current house and it was almost as convenient as a built in. It was on wheels and we just had to roll it from beside the counter to in front of the sink, plug it in and connect the hose to the kitchen faucet and you're good to go. Plus it had a faux wood top that served as additional counter space. If your kitchen is extremely small though this might not be for you.
