This really is the answer. The reason you're not having sex, my inceldudes, is because there is no fucking possible until your turn off the Xbox, have a shower, put halfway decent clothes on, and GO SOMEWHERE WHERE ACTUAL GIRLS ARE. And if bars and clubs aren't your thing, go on meetup.com or whatever and join the groups that both match your interests AND are the ones where girls might actually be. Then talk to actual girls, don't put them on a pedestal, and tease them from time to time to see i…

Simple explanation. A lot of women in their 20s enjoy sex without a condom. It's just that simple. If you're some old fart from the 90's and you were all like, let's go to the STD clinic before we bang BECAUSE WE MIGHT ACTUALLY DIE OF AIDS that's cool and stuff, but it's just not how things roll now. Personally, I wrap that monkey. YMMV.

The French have a marvelous expression: Vive la différence. Men and women are *delightfully* different. Women value preselection for *excellent* reasons in evolutionary biology. A wise man understands that, and spends his energy ensuring he benefits from her careful screening... rather than falling victim to it and being sad.

I get it. It sucks. Bit think of it like Francesca in Bridges of Madison Country. She's committed and devoted, and says "I love you" to hubby when he goes to the State Fair with the kids. Then she bangs Robert Kinkaid ten ways to Sunday when he drops by looking for bridges to photograph. Then she stays committed and devoted with safe hubby. What's going on? She's not a bad person. She's just a human, doing human stuff. She's too scared to make a change but kinda wanting to.

There's a lot to unpack in that thread. Certainly many neckbeards have inflated perceptions of their SMV. Some of the girls you cite might be pretty, but they're all overweight and would be chubby outliers in the midwest single / professional / sporty circles I move in. The good news is that getting slim is free, so these chicks can easily bump up their SMVs if they want.

I agree. Women can fake orgasms; Men can fake entire relationships. The case you're describing is an SMV mismatch. These are the couples where the tall handsome 8 guy is dating the smart 5 girl with the great personality who's great in bed. They're just too many SMV points different. She's dating up, but she can see the sorts of girls who like him and she knows she's not as pretty, and it's taking much too long for him to commit. But she's insecure and lacks the willpower to dump him and move on…

I feel you. But the alternative (you go into the restaurant together, and not a single girl checks out your guy, and one or two glance at you with a flash of contempt) is also hellacious.

Kinda. If she can bone some ripped, chiseled-jaw, 90 IQ MAGA coal miner (without her friends finding out) he might get lucky from time to time depending on her cycle. But he's never getting out of that box.

No guy should be committed to a girl before they've had sex. Period. That's like being committed to a car before going to the dealership. Women want to feel they're dating up. Every study shows this, and there's nothing controversial the idea at all. There is *nothing* less panty-dropping than a guy who tells a girl that he has no other options and "she's the only one". That's literally the definition of her dating down. Boring! It's her competitive sexual anxiety (that he might slip away, that …
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/24 11:40 PM

This. The trope that hot girls should treat you as special because your mom treats you as special is *literally* the reason lonely RP neckbeard basement edgelords are stacked a dozen deep all through this sub. :change my mind:

Yes, I mean a woman with Asperger's syndrome. (Rudy Simone wrote a great book called "Aspergirls" explaining how they're different to guys with Asperger's).

Sure, if you're a fat neckbeard, put down the twinkies and have a shower... Top priority. But loads of fit guys struggle to talk to girls and date well below their level if at all. Doing extra reps on the pull-up bar won't help, unless she's ovulating and just wants to be boned right now, and bye-bye in the am. Average-looking well-groomed guys who can talk to girls will consistently date hotties.

No. Guys are logical and assume what they like is what girls like. They're wrong. Instead girls would much rather you hit the "how to flirt / listen well / pass shit-tests" gym than the one with barbells. They won't *tell* you that because they want you to just get it.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/24 08:17 PM

This is true-ish but untrue in ways that make the analysis extremely *unhelpful*. You're basically using your (apparently decent) logical facilities to construct a self-paralyzing argument that in no way serves you or will get you *any* *ass* *whatsoever*. Basically, quit that shit, and focus this same level of energy on making a plan to improve yourself and become dateable: 1. Stop confusing acting in an uncalibrated / awkward / selfish way with "your personality". Instead, recognize that inter…

Not true. Once a lonely inexperienced guy finally gets with a nice kind plain girl, and it was easy, and shit seems safe and he's getting some, he often instinctively looks around for higher SMV (hotter) girls. This isn't because he's a dick: it's because he instinctively doesn't know his SMV yet. It's a very similar phenomena to female hypergamy, except he doesn't explicitly want to leave the first girl. He just feels a need to also try and bang hotter ones that might be in his range. Anecdote:…

Median would be the central value in *any* distribution. In a distribution where many people work part time jobs at low pay, and a tiny amount of people earn billions from tech startups, median is *vastly* more useful than mean to understand the earnings range of a typical person. https://preview.redd.it/oi8ht23d38gc1.png?width=724&format=png&auto=webp&s=4ef27e299a264f2f543dadae51ea29d96f02e4ae

Nonsense. Always use the median when the distribution is skewed with a non-symmetrical distribution.

A guy working 13 days every two weeks up at 4 AM is not "coming up short". They are making bank, or they are living/lived *way* the fuck above their means and are paying a credit card. Most guys in the 20s have the time to play way too much video games, watch way too much porn, and spend way too little time and effort on personal improvement or fitness. Just calling it like it is.

No. Women generally prefer all those ways of meeting men, because they feel more real. Women are not just going to bars and clubs just to dance with girls. They're hoping a real thing happens. Need to be at the right type of place, and take decent steps to present well.

You have a decent enough understanding of an average guy. Couple of points you're getting wrong: "having to rely 100% on dating apps because there are no women in your life" ... This is nonsense. Relying on approaching the occasional single attractive girl who shows up in your personal friend circle imposes a freakish level of scarcity. Dating apps are an amazing gift. Since you don't recognize that, your profile is probably shit. Don't attempt to "show girls the real you". Instead, treat your p…

statistical relevancy You appear to be trying to recall the concept called "statistical significance", where an analyst is able to determine that a result did not arise from chance alone. There is no information available to suggest that this 3% meets that standard, and 3% is well within a typical margin of error for this type of survey.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/24 01:50 PM

It reinforces nothing, because 3% is effectively nothing.

From the article, 16% of GenZ guys think feminism was bad, compared to 13% of over-60s men. 3% difference. That's it. Zip. Nada. Almost certainly within the survey's margin of error. If this is the strongest sign that there's some sort of "gender war" somewhere, apparently there isn't one.

I hear you, but that just sounds really boring. Frankly, if she appreciates his wisdom, worldliness, and credit line, and he appreciates her joie-de-vivre and tight buns, let them have at it as long as they like. One of my favorite friends and his wife has a 20yr gap. He's a remarkable leaderly guy and she's an astonishingly mature young woman. They remain incredibly happy doing their Dom/Sub thing, and it's simply no-one else's business, IMHO.

Don't be sad. Be discriminating about the type of guy you like (sporty? brainy? arty?) and go where those guys are. Join Meetup.com or something like that in your town, and go where the guys are that you want to meet. And if you're not sporty, but like sporty guys, get sporty!!! Do the work. If you like brainy quiet guys, join a chess club. If you like arty moody guys, take that painting class. Go where the guys are that you like. Smile at them. Say, "Hello, I'm new. What's this all about." or "…

A guy who repeatedly hits on his coworker *should* be reported to HR. One "no" is enough. Very attractive younger women can be hit on repeatedly by douchebags in their company and just should not have to do with that shit. Period. Say "hey, I'd like to buy you a coffee and get to know you a little better". If she says "no", take it like a man and back off.

There were some great insights in RP theory a decade ago: Attraction cannot be negotiated. Women evolved millions of years ago to evaluate men as either: reliable long term providers, OR providers of high quality genes. So, women simultaneously pursue short- and long-term mating opportunities in different contexts, unconsciously following a dual mating strategy that tracks their ovulatory cycle. Chicks dig bad boys... every month. This is experienced by women as: bouts of hypergamous doubt in mo…

I'm not sure it's a huge revelation that women in the dating market attempt to appear more appealing (i.e. have a higher value), and guys in the dating market attempt to appear higher status (i.e. have a higher value). The dynamic you're describing (girl turns out to be less perfect than internet persona) sounds like every fake alpha guy with a great opening line who utterly crumbles on a shit test. Same thing, right?

Wait... why would guys be "worrying about women becoming e-girls, doing Only Fans, or sleeping around"? Are you serious? It's freaking 2024. :FFS:

Me too. But her issues aren't dating older guys. She's buying a wardrobe on credit. She's choosing a Social Science major that will leave her unemployable. She has unprotected sex with dumb guys her age. She voted for the Greens to "shake things up". The girl is a freaking *disaster* (as are her male peers). She doesn't need someone giving her age ranges to date. But she could use an experienced man to show her how to adult. Many chicks dig that.

Of course "every man's DNA" isn't needed. Just every man that a specific girl has banged. She's the gatekeeper of doing the horizontal tango, and she's the beneficiary of knowing who her babydaddy is, so she needs to keep a list of the guys she bangs, and check their ID to get their legal name. If she fails to manage her fertility appropriately, she knows who she banged and these guys will need to check their DNA. We're not talking dozens of guys in most cases. It's like a guy making sure his su…

The main benefit is security, based on deep mutual trust. The entire construct hinges on the man and woman choosing to override or channel their natural urges to polygyny and hypergamy into a monogamous relationship that can weather stresses and emergencies through life.

A woman's attraction is not negotiated. In general she feels a tingle for that proximate alpha male regardless of whether she's married, single, his boss, his student, whatever. She doesn't have to *act*, but she notices. A man's attraction is also not negotiated, and in general he's hard for that proximate girl in peak fertility, regardless of whether she's married, single, his boss, his student, whatever. Again, he doesn't have to act, but he notices.Men don't need to make some rational decisi…

You'll never know why a particular woman stopped responding early in a relationship. Maybe she went traveling around the world. Maybe she got back with her ex. Maybe she was chatting with six people, chose one over you, then stopped using the app because that person was working out. These things are normal, and should be expected. Expecting to get the girl every time is unrealistic and self-absorbed. When a guy does write himself out of her story early, most likely he showed in multiple ways tha…
