I'm allergic to wheat, eggs, and dairy. I live with my parents, can I eyeball my portions and what I'm eating and end up like Brad Pitt in Fight Club? Also is 3x a week better or 5x? I want to do nSun's 531 but it seems like a gigantic fucking commitment.

Is this the first post you've ever read on TRP?

Have any books you'd recommend reading on being charismatic(?)

Ive always seen it explained this way, but that "they want you to be great but just slightly less than you" is what's opening my eyes. And I see that behaviour in my friends. I've been seeing it in two of the people that say they're my closest friends. Thanks man

I must admit that I've been reading TRP for a while and have had on and off monk modes where I lift and eat healthy and try in school, then I get depressed and just realize I have no overarching goals because I simply don't know what to want. What does someone in this situation do? Do I move forward blindly? It feels like I'm lying to myself, that I know I have to be a man about things but this lack of vocation is the perfect excuse for my degenerate behavior.

I didn't know it wasnt just me that had this pattern of behaviour!

well they do have feelings after all. It's not all logic all the time with the ladies, I think that's plenty obvious ;)

Where does one go about getting shrooms or DMT? I'm currently in a real slump and would love a sort of panacea to just see what my path can be.

Know of any relevant posts on the reality of media's influence on how we see the world and our own lives? Expectations, etc.

Do you have to be an alpha while going in or is it okay to cultivate those traits and pass shit tests along the way? I've got an idiot friend who's around 18 and thinks he can pull this off with an LDR that's not even in the country. Your comment intrigued me because I'm starting to wonder if he's not actually an idiot at all.

Wait, is this a legit strategy to having as close to a unicorn as possible? What would constitute as pairbonding in this situation and how would you keep up the sex life after marriage (if that's even on the table)?
/r/askTRP03/07/17 12:13 AM

Oh I agree. Yoda was mainly talking about attachment and how the fear of loss can make you so motivated that you may choose actions that are unlawful and immoral such as what the character Anakin did. I agree with you, though I believe fear is a fleeting motivator since once you get a taste of success, that fear is immediately absolved.
/r/TheRedPill02/07/17 01:32 AM
2

Oh I see what you're saying! So for example, say I'm fat and want to lose weight. I say that I do it because I want to look attractive. Behind that statement is the acceptance of the fear I have of not being able to get women (for the sake of this argument we'll say that I believe attractiveness is absolutely necessary to get laid) because I'm fat. That I have this fear, is good. It drives me to lose weight. It is my true motivation. That's what you're saying right?
/r/TheRedPill01/07/17 03:03 AM

You posting this gives permission to those reading (who are in the anger phase) to be more open-minded and willing to see the points on both sides of the argument. You're the real hero, buddy.

I was in the same boat as you exactly a year ago. I packed up my ps4 and sold it to a friend. Haven't looked back since. Got a locker equidistant from my classes and the gym; easier for me to grab my shit and go lift. Remove the obstacles and get rid of all the distracting or unproductive alternatives. Then you just have the good old illusion of choosing to do the right thing. Keeping that promise builds self-esteem and it'll all snowball into you gettin some pussy.
/r/TheRedPill01/07/17 01:39 AM
1

You cannot read the "fear leads to whatever" line without hearing yoda That's because it's straight out of star wars. It says that you can marginalize anything by saying it comes from Fear and come off sounding wise and shit. Explain? Fear is self preservation. It is healthy, we wouldn't be alive unless some humans had fear. In the case of a predator attack or if you know the possible chaotic and dangerous courses of action in a certain situation. Otherwise fear is something that limits you. If …

Oh I didn't know that. I read his Subtle Art of How Not To Give a Fuck and that really helped me with my analysis paralysis and direction of my thinking. I'll check out Models, I'd always felt a bit averse to the book because of the title. Don't judge a book by its title, I guess huh?

I did this for myself out of the hate I had for my pansy behaviour and overall misery. If anyone reading this is afraid of failing or being lazy, understand that change is possible as long as you're persistent. Eventually you'll find the little rules and principles that will guide you to success.

I think it's guys in the Anger Phase that like seeing this. It fuels their anger and current line of thinking, though it'll subside after a while.
/r/TheRedPill22/06/17 11:20 PM
1

Oh I see, that makes a lot of sense. I used to do that when I was in the anger phase. I think this happens when one's ego is incapable of handling reality. It's a struggle to be real with yourself, but that's the Red Pill.

There's no point in hating them or liking them. There's no point in even thinking about them for that matter. It wasn't, isn't, and probably never will be your place to judge whether or not other people were dealt a fair hand. You can't change it; don't worry about it.

I've never seen that depiction before and I like the idea of it. I haven't studied history enough to know if its inherently true, but logically it makes sense. Kinda makes me wonder where the world will go a few years from now. With people like Jordan Peterson becoming popular, I see no reason why we shouldn't try to be more outspoken and induce change in our communities.

Funnily enough, I read some askreddit thread where some man was gilded for writing a mini-essay on how it's not fair that men have to "carry the weight" and are expected to be stoic in demeanor. He sounds as if he's entitled to the bullshit fantasy that the feminists are trying to peddle. I watched a documentary recently about a Yuri Bezmenov. He explains how the first world countries have communist propaganda embedded in the minds of our youth, of our current leaders, etc. It all makes sense to…

I've entertained the idea of being a writer. A couple weeks ago, I wrote a little passage based off of a little fantasy that popped in my head. I'll check out Extreme Ownership as I've been recommended that before, but would you mind telling me about your stint learning to write and how you went about making a living while doing that? Did you have any mentors? Were there any resources you used in learning to be a better writer? Also, why did you want to be a writer in the first place?

Us, unfortunately. Socialism and communism are the biggest shit tests our society has ever faced (not just regurgitating, it actually makes sense). I live in Canada so it's more pronounced here, I find. I partly think because most of our generation don't know the value of money (I'm guilty here too due to some serious helicopter parenting), we just can't grasp not having things for free or the fact that we even owe shit and have certain unspoken duties.

Yeah I'm turning 22 soon. I didn't know I was entitled till I read The Subtle Art of How Not to Give a Fuck. I don't know if the others are entitled but I know for sure that if they were, then it takes some serious introspection, courage, and hard work to shed that shit.

I've been trying to drill this truth into my head but I just can't seem to get it in there. I'm a security guard part time while I study and the other day, just a fucking panic siren in the parking lot scared the ever living shit out of me and I ran like a pussy. I listen to head-bopping rap and upbeat music that pumps me up and I feel like a boss. But when push comes to shove, I'm just a huge fucking pussy. I haven't fought since I was like 9. No confrontations even with my friends who piss me …

Cold harsh truth. Making this shit dramatic and something that's more special than it actually is is a delusion you sell yourself. I did it for a long time and I still do. Perhaps I'm projecting, but I don't think I'm too far off from the ball here.

Yes, the crab-bucket speech has come up. Overall they were glad that I was losing weight but with the whipped guy, I could tell his enthusiasm was feigned. Everytime I hang out with this guy, I catch him trying to sneakily be Machiavellian and ask me blind-sided or loaded questions. He's fun to be around since he's hilarious, but by God, I have never had a proper conversation with him. I'm sorry for venting man, I just haven't been able to express this before. Explain to me what manipulation means. He didn't pull a nice guy scheme saying he wanted to be friends, make her feel vulnerable, and give her the false idea that he wanted to be her boyfriend. He spoke to her, showed his value, and she chased after him. When she asked if he was looking for a relationship, he said NO. Not "Yeah, but only if you let me fuck you again."

I did a quick google search on informatics engineering. It seems interesting and logical (I bet you studied with a lot of bright minds!). I'm only getting into the industry now but am wondering how someone like yourself would go about becoming remote. Do you have prior work experience or some kind of portfolio that you plan to show potential clients? Where do you plan on finding this customer base?

Oh of course, I agree wholeheartedly! The curriculum (FreeCodeCamp) just starts us off with HTML and CSS so we can get a feel for what it's like to code. I'll be moving on to JS, Angular, Node.js, etc in the following months. What was it like starting up your own software company? I feel like the start up market is over inflated nowadays, but its the dream to start a SaaS company that makes it big.

Do you have games on it? You're giving me excuses as to why you should keep it. I have a Dell XPS 13 that's hooked up to a nice monitor and a cheap steelseries combo mouse and keyboard. I get the desktop experience without wasting my money or time on video games. I'd suggest you sell what you've got and get a mac or something and have a similar set up. Extremely functional and portable.

This dude isn't wrong actually. Lots of Indian chicks are ugly as fuck. Like 10% are actually fuckable. Plus your post provided little to no insight when compared to the other 5 or so posts regarding race (indian specifically), masculinity, and the sexual marketplace. This is a low quality, low-effort showerthoughts-esque post. You also fought back when the other guy made a comment about toilets. It's called amused mastery, learn it. Reading number 17 made me feel like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. I've been in Monk Mode for 6 months, swallowed for 12. I just finished The Subtle Art of How Not to Give a Fuck. Being Alpha isn't one of my values anymore and #17 gave me permission to drop it. Underlying problem is that I equate sex with success since I'm a Virgin. Thanks for the guidance.

I have a buddy who absolutely hates taking commands. I don't say it in an extremely commanding voice or in any forceful way. It's always a suggestion. He just loses his shit everytime he hears that stuff. Even divvying up tasks is hard for him. Maybe he doesn't recognize me as the AMOG but it did bother me before, nowadays I don't really care because he's a gamerfag who doesn't do anything with his life.

Specifically, could I get your thoughts on music? I mainly listen to Led Zeppelin, Metallica, and GNR. I dabble in rap like Hopsin and Eminem's old stuff. Are there any books, articles, or posts you recommend I read on consumerism and avoiding easy dopamine paths? Also where do I get The Yellowship book?
/r/askTRP26/02/17 12:36 AM

Wait, how about books and music? The news? Politics? Podcasts? I'm still a college student so I need the internet for certain things. Am I still able to go to the movies on a whim or smoke weed and drink alcohol with friends? I've gotten rid of barriers before like for example: I fit my classes around times when I'd be more likely to work out, got a locker close to the school's gym and keep all my shit there. Is this what I'd be doing except in the context of success on a wider scale? Also if pe…

I agree wholeheartedly. Before this post, I was doing some journalling with the subject of my identity and was compelled to write down "consumer". How can I get rid of this mindset or personality trait?
/r/askTRP26/02/17 12:09 AM
1

Yeah I do. When I'm taking a shit, I usually envision myself in the worlds of characters who I idolize and want to be like. Half because the tension helps with the shit but lately it's because I really like being the one to save everyone.
/r/askTRP25/02/17 11:37 PM

Oh so you're saying it's a mix of both nature and nurture.
/r/askTRP24/02/17 11:02 PM

I see. So once she finds this guy. She'll try and lock him down. Is each woman only capable of branch swinging to a certain point without taking into account all her environmental factors that would dissuade her (religion, race, societal norms, etc)? In the end, I'm assuming, no guy is safe and "It's just your turn" is not only the right mindset but the only mindset for success and happiness?
/r/askTRP23/02/17 11:08 PM
1

I over-analyzed so much I just made it into a part of my Identity. After this post, I'm aware that when I get high with my friends and overall give less of a shit, suddenly everyone's asking for my opinion or vying for my attention. The journey going from Omega to Alpha is lifelong and very satisfying. My question is, if you give less of a fuck, how can you still be fun and alpha if you talk less? Especially if you're not physically domineering.

And it would be unwise to LTR these women and better to have them as plates since they'd be little no maintenance - she's already got someone to take care of her.
/r/askTRP23/02/17 10:32 PM
1

I see so the lack of ability to Pair Bond for women comes from the fact that most men they meet aren't worth bonding with anymore since she won't be able to lock anyone down from the top 10%? And for guys, if we have a steady flow then there's no point to waste our time trying to be friends when we've got bigger fish to fry.
/r/askTRP23/02/17 10:31 PM

Will do, thanks man!
/r/askTRP08/02/17 04:27 AM

No he wouldn't, it's just too beta. Frame was always the hardest concept for me to understand. Any good articles on it you'd recommend?
/r/askTRP08/02/17 04:27 AM
1

No I mean if I ask her out on fb and she says no then won't it be awkward when I see her? I've had that happen pre-TRP. My Frame is that she showed interest first and I'm just trying to make something out of it. If shes not interested, I'm not interested in being her friend. Fuck that.
/r/askTRP08/02/17 02:54 AM
2

Alright. I'm just afraid the fb message will make it awkward. I'm making the executive decision so I'll mull it over. It is worth noting though that after her turn to speak, she stopped looking at me as much and she caught me glancing over in her direction. I'm thinking too much about this arent I?
/r/askTRP08/02/17 02:16 AM

One was canceled so they held it this week. The next one is exactly two weeks from now.
/r/askTRP08/02/17 01:55 AM

The meetings are bi-weekly and the last one was three weeks ago. Will it look like I don't like her or that it was only now that I grew the pair to talk to her?
/r/askTRP08/02/17 01:51 AM
2

Thanks man, I felt silly asking the question but I'm glad you took the time to answer. Sometimes, I do get a little nervous in public and then I get stuck in my head. I'll practice being more chill tonight.
/r/askTRP03/02/17 09:07 PM

So this is what happens when you relentlessly stick to your Frame. You bring the betas into your Frame.

This is the next level of being aware. I think if we follow all the steps to the tee (creating and maintaining abundance mentality), we can reach this state. It's hard. That's the only problem. And that problem isn't a problem but an opportunity.

they're not tolerating the LDR because billy beta is such a catch, they tolerate billy beta because they only need to act like his girlfriend every other weekend. the rest of the time they're free to do whatever but still get to tell their parents/friends/orbiters that they have a boyfriend. Makes a lot of sense. I'd say most of the hotter western chicks in LDRs fit this category. some shorter-term LDRs are legit and necessary because of work or whatever. but if a girl has a history of LDRs or s…

Are video games nothing but a tool to keep men in line? You're not gaining any real skills. ~1% of players get somewhere profitable in eSports. Bitches don't love gamers. It's an absolute timesink. The only reason I see anyone getting a console (and not a PC unless you're using that GPU for your profession as well) is for the games that blur the line of art/game/story/movie (journey, uncharted, the last of us, and other games along those lines).

Video games are beta, drinking/drugs are beta, eating junk food is beta and watching TV is beta. That's correct. These hobbies don't contribute to anything but other people's pockets. Have fun with hobbies that make you more valuable. Or don't.

Movies usually don't live up to the standards of the book so going by that logic, the novel must have been fucking fantastic. What did you read pre-TRP?

That's not the talk of people who get shit done. I don't have any life experience compared to you and I don't mean to overstep my boundaries nor instill a Disney fantasy into my reply but based on all the effort you exert into making replies and posts for us kids just shows how much you actually give a shit. I just wanted some insight into the viability of being a Lawyer as a career option. What you've said has confirmed most of what I've been hearing. It seems as though the reward may not be worth all the risk and hard work in this case, for me. Thanks a lot Uncle! Idk if it'll apply to everyone but you should definitely expand a bit on this comment and make it into a CorporateLand post!

That sounds interesting! I tend to do the same exercise with the movies I watch. The blue pill makes most movies' romantic plots into a downright comedy for me.

This is what changed my life. Ask yourself this: "Are you free?". You're probably going to say no. But to be honest you're not. You're the only person that cares about you. Your life is in chaos and your tired of it. You have the ability to make the changes you need to make. No one and nothing is stopping you from leaving. Problems aren't as big as they seem. Debt is never going to stay forever. You just do what you have to and don't think about how "you're finally there". You're never going to …

I'm a few years ahead of you and was at a similar dilemma. My advice is to think about how high you're willing to reach in terms of position for each industry. Once you have an idea of this, reach out to senior executives or managers (30+) in your city via LinkedIn and whatnot to ask them out for coffee or a phone call so you can ask about the industry. Don't ask the lower years as you may get stuck talking to some pussy who's entitled and doesn't want to do any work. Try that first to get a tas…

Essentially (and in the way I've used it in the past) if someone teases your insults you in some way, you take their insult and agree with them before insulting yourself with a worse joke just to show that you're not insecure and that it's all in good fun. A good example of this would be when in the movie 8 Mile, Eminem uses every insult his opponent could have used to deride his image on himself. The crowd loved it and you could see how much he didn't give a fuck.
