Why are you deleting comments that suggest that Voat is a better alternative to your personal website for TRP content?

Is Puerarchy going to be the home of TRP? That site gives me the impression that it's run by just one person, whereas no one really owns TRP on Reddit. It also looks like a GoDaddy website squatting page. Why don't we just move to Voat? It also bothers me that "puerarchy" is ridiculous and cumbersome as a word.

The Reddit CEO has forbidden salary negotiations, and it wouldn't surprise me if she says that female developers only have to complete a take home test.

I've thought about this a lot, being on a team that has interviewed dozens of candidates and found that the few female candidates who are qualified on their CVs get absolutely destroyed in the team interviews. We have a one day interview process where the current developers sit down with the candidate and ask some problems, going from easy bug-finding exercises to questions about architecting a solution to common and practical tasks, such as how to find duplicate strings, and requiring them to d…

The hallmark of feminism is to shame, because it has no other rhetorical devices to support its positions. Anyone who has gotten into arguments and debates can tell you that this is the default state of how women argue. Feminism, being an ideology unchecked by reason and which has no respect for evidence, the scientific method, etc, of course uses this female approach. There are some outliers, but in my experience women generally rely on rhetorical, social devices like shame when they get beaten…

The actual word for this is egalitarianism. There's a subreddit for it /r/egalitarianism Their stated purpose is to not value one group over the either (feminism vs. mensrights). Sidebar: Egalitarianism (from French égal, meaning "equal") is a belief of thought that favors equality of some sort. Its general premise is that people should be treated as equals on certain dimensions such as race, gender, religion, ethnicity, political affiliation, economic status, social status, and cultural heritag…

Where? The only thing I see in your entire user history (your account is four days old) is this: https://np.reddit.com/r/SubredditDrama/comments/304jht/can_your_pussypass_get_denied_if_youre_a_14_year/cpppa65?context=3 And all I saw is you discounting a person's opinion about circumcision being a problem because, among other things, "it isn't talked about outside of the manosphere". Despite the fact that he was telling you, having experienced it, that he had the opinion that it was a big issue. …

Same with /r/carpentry, /r/woodworking, /r/metalworking, /r/justrolledintotheshop, /r/boatbuilding, /r/woodworkingvideos, /r/machinists, /r/welding, maybe /r/literature. Basically anywhere people are still using Reddit to get shit done. You'll find those subs naturally male-oriented, because women tend to not do or create those things.

I recommend this thread for book suggestions: TheRedPill/comments/2j6ugi/older_wellread_trp_members_can_you_recommend_some/ The best things in there that I've read are Meditations by Marcus Aurelius and The Brothers Karamazov by Dostoyevsky, which may be the best novel ever written. I recommend starting with both of them. Get the Pevear and Volokhonsky translation of The Brothers Karamazov though, not Garnett. Read a chapter a night and you'll be hooked, though I didn't become enthralled with Th…

Don't worry, when he makes a million from his GoFundMe campaign ($350k at the moment, after 10 days) his wife will come back, claiming she "just needed some time" and "always loved the baby". She has a lot of social status to gain by being the mother that heroically overcame her postpartum madness and came back to her child in need, and can then take the money her husband raised for her baby to spend on herself.

I'm not sure it matters. That mod came down on the side of censorship, telling people to report posts that make them feel bad. I assume they didn't say that just so they could ignore the reports. That mod's post is also +800.

I see, it's http://www.puerarchy.com. Am I missing something though? It doesn't look like a user forum where everyone is equal, which is what makes TRP so great. Instead it seems like an entity controls the content of the site rather than the collective users. I don't want someone lecturing to me, I want a community hub.

How is that even a rational thought occurring in your head if you're the one avoiding taking your fitness and body to a serious level rather than a "casual" one Learn to read One must make space, make the money, nut up and take one's body and health seriously. Now you're saying the way to take one's body and health seriously is to have a squat rack in your home and not go to a gym? Do you know how many people are able to use gyms to hit their goals (including being body builders)? You're an idio…

The farther away the gym is, the more likely you'll come up with some lame, limiting excuse not to go. Then your problem is that you're pussing out. Plus my own gym is literally five minutes away. Less if the single traffic light is green. You are perfectly fine with a solid $500 - $1000 (if you know how to shop on craigslist and ebay, etc - you can go as low as $400 for everything you need - includes solid Power Rack, solid Bench, solid Olympic bar and free weights up to 1000lbs). And the space…

I never considered making a playlist for BDSM play, but that's a great idea. What else is on your playlist? Even as a dom, though, I would safeword to my own playlist. I just can't stand the whining way he says "remember me" and "for centuries".

What's it like working out in noise cancelling headphones? I feel like it'd be strange to not hear yourself breathe, almost as if you're under water. I have some nice Bose ones I use at work, but I could easily see them being too bulky.

Do whatever you can to build a home gym. I'm talking about if you're serious about working out, which EVERYONE should be, not casually. If you're working out casually, then start getting serious about your body & life. If you're serious about working out you go to a gym that has hundreds of thousands of dollars of equipment, such as an Olympic size pool, trainers on staff, buddies to spot with you, etc. If you're just working out at home then you're not serious. Try getting more confident, buddy…

I disagree. I bought some dumbbells a few years back with the idea that I could just casually switch from doing work/hanging out to lifting weights. I find that my brain requires a hard context switch for me to give it my all with exercise. I have to GO to a gym and make it its own thing. In other words, working out at home doesn't make working out better, it just makes being at home worse.

That's why I love putting on Mastodon. "Split your lungs with blood and thunder!" vs. "I go on too many dates, but I can't make them stay, at least that's what people say, mm-hmm."

I use a Sansa Zip Clip with Rockbox. It's tiny, light, has a removable micro SD card, open source firmware that's far better and more capable than than the iPod, and it has real buttons. iPods or iPhones are ridiculously impractical at a gym and require a bulky case just to clip it on. Also a touchscreen is a retarded interface for a music device.

They do that here too. The food channel, a soap opera, or Dr. Oz. Occasionally some older guy will put on something interesting to me, such as a DIY home improvement show or the history channel, but it gets changed back soon after they leave.

Check out the video. She literally sits on a stool because she's too fat to dance. It's disgusting and the absolute last thing I want to think about when I'm struggling to finish my last set on the squat rack.

I'm friendly with the owner of my gym (which is pretty small) and I know she just puts on whatever is popular. She used to allow the members to control the satellite radio station, but I think people got sick of coming in and hearing gangster rap all the time, so she put it back in her office and put it on a pop music station. For whatever reason the people who would change the station were also the ones most likely to pick Latino music or hardcore gangster rap.

How many posts have we seen that follow the structure of "guy came here because people said it was terrible, guy actually reads some real content, guy realizes this is logical and not 'mean' or whatever, guy sticks around and improves himself"? You're just witnessing a mostly female hivemind in the opposite direction now. If you want evidence of this, just post on that thread that you believe that TwoX isn't a hivemind, and that you believe they acted appropriately the first time. I hope someone else chimes in on this. I think the moment you're referring to is when Grueshenka sits in Alyosha's lap, and wants to corrupt him. He shows her compassion, though, and it touches her, however, and she abandons her plan. I think you may be right

Despite his outlook on human nature, I wouldn't consider him a pessimist, and don't want to give that impression about him. I loved Alyosha, whose faithfulness, optimism, and consistent abstinence from being judgmental made him very endearing. One can note, however, that his attitude didn't attract any women, as I understand it, except for Lise. She's an immature, emotionally unstable, frail and sick girl who Alyosha actually ends up engaged to for a short period of time. It's as if Dostoyevsky …

I'm not sure I would welcome a men-only time at my gym, as the whole concept of one-gender-only seems retarded to me, but I would've appreciated it the other day. Two women were lifting dumbbells in the free weights/squat rack section and couldn't stop giggling as they tried to lift them. It was really annoying, trying to push yourself and focus while having to overhear that kind of childishness.

Eating healthfully and eating sugar are not mutually exclusive. On the contrary, a large percentage of healthy foods naturally contain sugar, and it'd be needlessly prohibitive to avoid them solely for that reason. Perhaps you mean "no added sugar", such as packets in your coffee or a very sugary snack. One can still eat these things and live healthfully, however, as long as you do it in moderation and meet your macronutrient goals. One doesn't have to be an ascetic to be a monk. It's also perfe…

If you helped land a spacecraft on a fucking comet you are one of the most important members of our species and should answer to no one about whatever the fuck shirt you choose to wear. It's a failing of our society that children and Internet trolls' imbecility is elevated to a point where anyone of any significance even hears it. And it's all because people can make ad revenue by promoting drama and controversy. Sickening.

They've been told their entire lives that their bodies are temples, that they're princesses and goddesses, that no one has the right to tell them what to do. "You go girl!" and female entitlement to the point where they literally perceive obvious advice like "don't be a slutty pig" as transgressing their right for the universe to only tell them things they want to hear. They're so childish that they can read an article of general advice and think it's like their parents "telling them what to do"…

Oh, people should make mistakes during their youth; especially boys (but I can't say that girls should totally avoid them either). However, the emphasis is on youth, and you aren't an adolescent at 20 anymore. I think this is the heart of the matter. Western culture is expanding the definition of childhood so that it now includes all of your college-aged years. It used to be that you became an adult at 17 or 18, and were expected to get a job or get married. Then it was 21, as that was the age y…

This sub will be banned the second a bored news outlet decides to attack a "breeding ground for misogynists and abusers". Feminists, SJWs, and white knights will dox and threaten as many users as they can. The admins will then make a blog post about how Reddit doesn't censor free speech.

His mistake was probably pure naivety. He believed the myth that he had grown up hearing, that women will stick by a good man just because he's good. He didn't realize he had to raise his SMV to compete because they were already a couple, and felt she would have loyalty to him just because she had previously loved him back, because he cared for her, and because he helped her improve herself. Because that's what he would've done, being a male with honor and loyalty. He learned the hard way that w…

That just looks like you're taking advantage of a culture that's made people so polite and respectful that no one is going to get in your face and tell you that you're acting like an asshole. There are ways of picking up chicks in Japan, I'm sure, that don't involve acting like an arrogant American prick. For every girl he grabs and forces into an awkward social situation there have to be some (most?) that legitimately do not want it and whose day will have been made worse by the gross invasion …

It's not all that unusual if you think about it. After all, if you try to tell a woman that her safety is even remotely her responsibility you'll be chastised for "victim blaming". Instead, it's always up to society to change itself so that the stars align and no woman will ever placed in a situation where she must assert herself and extricate herself from a bad situation. It's more plausible, of course, that what we're seeing is trickle truth and a female's offloading of responsibility for her …
