It's kind of like a release. At least for me sometimes I just feel like I need to cry to process whatever shit I'm going through. Or sometimes I just can't help but cry. It's why my favourite movies tend to be one's that make me cry a lot, Idk it just feels good to me.

my main group of people I spend time with is my family, which is like 50/50 men and women (obv doesn't rlly matter cuz it's family tho). My friend group is probably around 70%ish men. Although I rarely see the majority of them, it's really only if they plan a party once in a blue moon. I've got a smaller close knit group of friends that's an off shoot of the which is 2 girls (myself included) and 3 guys (my man included), and we'll go for dinners or hang out once in a while.

You're right. But believe me any time I've cried at work, school or in public, it's not because I've wanted to.

Okay good for you you're not crying. I'm just not gonna hold it against a person if they hear shit like that and find it unfair. Glad you're taking it so well, but not everyone is like you.

I just don't see how saying it's only the hot chicks is much consolation when it's likely mostly because average women can't be height queens. That's like telling women the only reason their average men aren't cheating on them is because they can't afford to. eta: fuck ton of edits, okay. I only responded to the first shit you posted.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 09:42 PM

If it's enough so that it's a phenomenon, doesn't that imply most women would be height queens if they had the ability to do so? This makes it feel like the only reason more average women aren't height queens is because they're settling for what they can afford.

I'm pretty sure we got it right on release. It's technically my bro's (I got a new one because he'll be taking his when he moves out this summer), but he's super into console collecting and shit so maybe I'll ask him whether he knows if it's hackable or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/23 07:56 AM

oh we got our switch when it first came out but I never messed with any of that stuff, tho I heard about it. I just got a new one recently. I'm old school and like collecting physical copies for games still 😅

Interesting. When I talk to most of my friends who didn't have fathers, or had poor fathers, they always expressed that they at least wish things could have been different. For the record, I don't think not having a father or having a poor one screws a person over completely. You can still do well without one and people can overcome all kinds of setbacks. It might be one of those things where you don't really know what you're missing out on because you haven't experienced it. It's good that you'…

ah, I did misunderstand that. Tbh that's like the absolute top of my requirement list tho. Regardless, do you really think having a good father figure is not important?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/23 05:17 AM
2

Clearly you understand it's a problem that exists. Diminishing the importance of the father's role in a child's development is one of the worst things modern feminism has attempted to do.

Imagine your dad trying to pretend you don't fucking exist because mommy refused to kill you in the womb. Why not just become one of those shit dads who refuses to pay child support and hope baby momma doesn't take you to court. Half my friends had dads like that and nothing ever happened to them. Yet these are the same fuckers who complain about "fatherless behaviour" and shit. Don't go around nutting in bitches if you can't face the consequences of your actions. I love fiction. I don't think I have any self help books unless you count devotional books haha. I do have one shelf with text books and stuff from school tho. Reading as a hobby is for me to escape reality or be immersed in another world. I enjoy stories with lots of intricate and detailed world building. I read for personal enjoyment, so I'm attracted to books that are interesting and exciting to me. It's the equivalent of watching tv or gaming for pleasure.

/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/23 08:39 PM

I can understand the feeling of thinking everyone is beautiful in their own way. Personally I find most people to have an innate beauty to them. But I don't think that applies to just men or women. And I also don't think it's the same as simply being attractive. I have female friends who talk like this, and from what I can tell, they just do it to be "feminist". Like they've been brainwashed by a lot of media and stuff to just view women as untouchable and men as the butt of the joke. I don't ev…

Yea I always felt a bit uncomfortable with how touchy women were in groups. Like maybe with a bestie I would allow it (although kissing is still off limits), but like it takes a lot for me to actually accept being so touchy. Unless I'm drunk lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/23 09:34 PM
1

hmm yea idk, maybe it's just me then. I normally always volunteer to pay no matter who I'm with. Exception is double dates or big groups with drinking obv. but friend dates and stuff, I always volunteer. Or if someone makes a comments about how expensive the meal is or seem uncomfortable ordering smthn expensive, I usually offer to cover it. It feels good to treat others.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/23 09:32 PM
2

idk if I ask to take friends out I always expect to be paying. Like I suppose it's not exactly that they should expect me to, but I'm more than willing. I always offer to pay even if I'm the one being asked out, but I'm also absolutely willing to pay especially when I asked out first. Idk I think everyone in general should be more generous tbh

Idk about leagues because most men in my social circles aren't exactly high value. But I have advised my friend against dating certain men due to obvious character flaws. I have one friend who I basically told her she should not be dating or hooking up with anyone at this point in her life (she has a lot of mental stuff she's working through). She agreed and then hooked up with a stoner and came crying to me about him the next day. I pretty much now only give advice if I'm specifically asked for…

/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/23 08:20 PM

Yea you'd have to weigh whether they're with you on the important values or not. And if they're traditional women, they'd likely defer to their husband ob certain matters so you may be able to shift their views eventually. I would just be upset knowing my partner is cancelling out my vote every election lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/23 06:51 PM
1

It's about values. Think long term, I know you're Christian, so I'm assuming marriage amd children is the end goal. Do you want to be united, or divided as a family. Small differences in political values may not be a big deal, but I wouldn't say it's a non-issue at all. Personally I would never date a liberal man and I would find it upsetting if I found out my partner voted left or was teaching my children certain left ideas.

I don't personally think it has to lead there. unless everyone is dating their 10/10, everyone has to compromise on physical appearance to some degree. The severity of the compromise might make a difference, but ultimately what's more important is the person's attitude about it.

hmm 🤔 Idk if it can shift that much although I've never really given it a shot. Like shorter might be okay and a bit thinner (although I don't think totally scrawny will ever be my thing). Like I've always had a preference for tall stocky guys, but I've had periods where I've crushed on thinner or shorter guys, and during those times their shortness or thinness never really seemed to matter, I still found them just as attractive and I would even start to notice guys similar to them more often. Second i made a list of every shitty thing she'd done to me and always reminded myself of them Love blinders are legit. I had a best friend hardcore crushing on one of the guys from my old high school friend group. Literally first thing I told her when she let me know she was crushing on him was that in high school he drugged a girl's drink at a party as a "prank". Like if that's not a red flag, idk what is 🤦‍♀️ She still hardcore crushed on him until he found a different girl.

Personally I'm not a fan of the multi dating thing and I would be bothered and hurt as well. Thing is, asking about that kind of stuff was a priority for me very early on in the relationship, so I doubt I would even get to five months without talking about exclusivity and what his intentions are. I don't like the dude's lifestyle, but I also know for certain those women could have avoided this if they truly wanted to. Unless he explicitly lied or intentionally mislead her. I understand her being…

I already acknowledged I understand why socially it can be off-putting, and I understand why modern societies put rules around age of consent. But simply finding a young woman attractive hardly seems unnatural to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/23 09:05 PM
1

Attraction isn't really something we just turn off and on. Most people begin being sexually active when they're a teenager, so I don't think much has changed.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/23 08:39 PM
1

Well in Canada you can do anything you want at 18 basically. I already expressed that I can understand why people would find it off-putting due to socialization. But from a purely physical standpoint, being attracted to 16, 17, 18 year olds isn't unnatural.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/23 08:20 PM
0

to be honest, I don't think people can blame their university for their debt when they pick a useless degree. Secondary education is supposed to be an investment, if there's no potential for return and you do it anyways, you fucked yourself over.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/23 08:12 PM
2

ephebophilia is attraction to teens, it's not considered a mental illness. Age of consent is 16 here in Canada. What do you think makes 18 different from 17 different from 16? I understand in a social context why people consider it sketchy, but from purely a physical attraction stand point there's really no reason why 18 is suddenly considered okay to find attractive and 17 is not. Especially since women grow and develop at different rates. Pedophilia is unnatural and considered a mental illness…
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/23 08:10 PM

It feels hypocritical to men for a woman to be calling out hypergamy while also dating a high value man. I used to spend a lot of time on here calling out similar stuff Pearl does, but it always fell flat when I'm dating a 6'3", traditionally attractive, charismatic man lol
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/23 07:25 PM
2

/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/23 07:16 PM

I don't think it matters whether she's single or not. Not everyone wants to nor needs to be in a relationship. You can recognize truths about dating and women without being in a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/23 07:14 PM
2

If she's recognizing hypergamy, and thinks it's unfair, she may be targeting men who she considers more at her level. There's also the aspect that they work in the same industry. Influencers dating each other can get messy and complicated, it wouldn't suprise me if she preferred someone irl who met her organically, not through her online personality.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/23 07:06 PM
1

I can see you're really interested in having a discussion about this and not just confirming your own biases. I really admire that in you. Lots of people come on here with no intention to actually debate, but to just screech the same things over and over again without providing any real arguments. You're truly a rarity. Keep it up 😊👍
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/23 07:03 PM
2

Men are attracted to beautiful women. If they don't find her attractive and think they can do better appearance wise (which most of them likely can), they won't date her. Whether she agrees with them or not makes little difference when it comes to male attraction. Regardless, how do you even know she would want to date any of those hosts?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/23 06:59 PM
0

Lying about what? The concept of "the wall" isn't telling men they can't or shouldn't date women over 30, it's just recognizing that women lose a lot of their value in the dating market as they get older. How does acknowledging that make a person a pedophile? I'm literally attracted to older men, and I still believe in the wall to an extent 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/23 06:56 PM
2

You said you think she's being genuine in what she's saying. In that case it wouldn't matter to her whether men are picking her or not (she's still single and hasn't dropped the schtick, so it's unlikely she's being this way just to attract men). It's not "acting" or "going along" if she genuinely believes it. There could be plenty of reasons she's single. Men may not find her attractive, she may not be interested in dating, she may have religious reasons that affect her dating life, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/23 06:51 PM
1

Pedophiles are people attracted to prepubescents. Being attracted to 18 year olds, or even late teens isn't pedophilia. He's still attracted to a mature woman's body. Aside from that, that is only one user. Nothing about the red pill belief argues men should date younger. Low N-count doesn't necessarily mean young, although it correlates. Pedophilia is a mental illness most red pillers don't have.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/23 06:47 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/23 06:30 PM

Yea that's also what I was thinking. I'm the type of person to never assume a person is interested unless it's explicitly clear, so I don't know if I would immediately read it as him hitting on me. And what's worse is she essentially implies anything more would be considered creepy. She's not just saying "this is how I prefer to be approached", she's saying he wasn't creepy only because he approached this specific way (which as you said, could hardly be considered as him actually hitting on her)…

He didn’t approach me in a creepy way. He was there to do his own business, and he made a funny joke to someone who already happened to be there. He didn’t follow me in from outside, leer at me, or make comments about my physical appearance. Fair enough on the approach portion, although I don't think making a tasteful compliment would be a bad thing. He kept the conversation light and easy, and never once tried to inject attraction or sexuality into our conversation. This one really confuses me.…

Yea and I wouldn't blame a guy for not wanting to marry that. People are allowed their preferences. It's not like it's difficult to not rack up an n-count if you want a specific kind of man.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/23 11:55 PM
1

I agree. I don't think there's anything wrong with people who don't like animals.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/23 11:45 PM

Maybe take a page out of my book and learn to be more accepting and less judgmental of other people's preferences. Like an n-count preference?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/23 11:44 PM

Yea if a chick is into you and you turn them down, that stings more than a pump and dump.

Sometimes I "commit" by accident. If I were a man I would for sure have been called out once or twice for being a creep 😂

I don't think I've ever hated anyone just by looking at them tbh
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/23 07:33 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/23 06:58 AM

Not his kind of people, eh? Well I'm not much of a solo traveler, so I guess I'll just stick to home sweet home, here in Alberta.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/23 06:51 AM

I don't need your hot friends anyways, I'm a successful chad chaser, remember :P

/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/23 06:39 AM

so you must want me up there for some reason. 😉 Who doesn't like the company of friends 😊 Damn it's been warm this last week but it just started getting chilly. The nearest beach is completely frozen over atm 😞 At least it makes for good skating.

Yea I'm not super attracted to inanimate objects tho 🤔
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/23 06:29 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/23 06:22 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/23 06:06 AM

Well I only know the young ones, so if you want me to introduce you to someone your options are limited. No they don't move away, especially not to Montreal 🤢
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/23 05:54 AM

Well us Albertan women are quite hot 😘, maybe I could set smthn up... You don't mind younger women, do you?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/23 05:48 AM

I hear the hottest Canadian women live in Montreal and Toronto. I'm sorry you didn't make the cut. I can't help you have poor tastes. Oh wait! Elisha is from Calgary, eh? 🤔 Something here just isn't adding up. Alberta is beautiful ❤️, if a gulag is anything like this I'd be happy to go 😤 You'd know just how nice it is if you bothered to visit!

French tips? Oh dear... I rarely paint my nails, but when I do, black is my go-to. I must be in my emo girl era. Who wouldn't be absorbed in me? I fuckin rule. You keep telling yourself that 😝
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/23 05:26 AM

I have a healthy ego 😙 You're one to talk tho, getting after me for being self-absorbed 🙄 pff Oh yeah, I paint my nails all the time. 😏 What colour? 👀
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/23 05:20 AM
3

I have asked advice online before, and then I realized it was pointless because no matter what people told me I was stubborn and would just end up doing my own thing. I very rarely ask or listen to advice tbh 😅 That's probably a bad thing, but I've done well for myself thus far
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/23 05:17 AM

how engagement rings are a scam Lol me and my man spent today looking at engagement rings 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/23 05:15 AM

Bruh, are men who don't paint their nails even men? So you paint your nails eh? I don't know how I feel about this new information 🤔 It's also very self-absorbed of you to think you invented the sarcastic use of that emoji. I'm the only one who has ever used it, I don't know what you're talking about. Anyone else using it is clearly copying me, and I won't stand for it 😤💅 eta: who says I'm using it sarcastically?

/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/23 03:15 AM
1

Yea that is really odd. My sister had that situation in her college due to race related issues. She'd be in a group and the other members would just straight-up ignore her. I only ask because I'm a really shy person and I take a while to open up, so I can be like that around people I don't know well (although I do still make an effort and am polite). But if she's singling you out that would be pretty annoying.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/23 02:46 AM

Does she talk to other people? Do you have history together at all?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/23 02:42 AM

Original Post update This kind of situation is like my worst fear in life. Ever since I was little one of the things I was most afraid of is divorce. Especially in a situation like this, where you do everything right and everything you can to fix it, but your partner just isn't cooperating. Super tragic.

Yea smiles are huge for me. I also definitely have a strong preference for older looking men. Like some wrinkles and greying is hot to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/23 01:39 AM

I'm definitely a fan of more cheerful and friendly looking men. Smiles are a huge winner, especially when it reaches the eyes, which is why I like Pedro so much.

Many just have to do with seeing them in roles I really like, Pedro Pascal hits the mark in every category for me rn. He's been getting a lot of attention tho lately, I just don't know if he's normally seen as a total hunk or not. Also this one is totally not my usual type, like at all, but I'm really into Martin Freeman 😅
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/23 01:21 AM

Yea I know my fair share of celebrities that just scratch an itch other people don't get in quite the same way
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/23 01:09 AM

I watched video and checked his insta. He's by no means bad looking, but for him to be hot in the way you describe, it's definitely a personal tastes thing.

I didn't see the performance, nor care to, but it really depends on how physically involved it was and exactly how pregnant she is. Women don't just become invalids as soon as they become pregnant.

There are some huge benefits to using credit cards if you're responsible. Credit cards aren't inherently good or bad, it's how you use them.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/23 10:46 AM

Well you'd probably be the first person I've spoken to who grew up without a father (or with a shitty father) and didn't at least wish in some capacity they had a good dad in their life as a child. So... Bravo, I guess? Having experienced growing up with both a wonderful mother and father, if I were missing either one of them that would be a huge void in my life.

That kind of chemistry is hard to find, I understand her wanting to take advantage of it. I've only felt that intense kind of connection with a few people in my life, and if it had happened to be a guy I was also attracted to, I would have a hard time resisting sleeping with him for long.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/23 07:54 AM
1

It's not that they think they're in a committed relationship with him, it's more that they're all vying for that spot at the top and he can fuck around and have his pick of the litter. Some women may be more attached and might like to think they've got a situationship going on, and some might be happy just fucking around. Chad doesn't need to put in the effort, the women do it themselves by being infatuated with him. Where I think trp is wrong is that this set-up is not nearly as common as they …

/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/23 05:09 AM

okay? But the attraction is there. And it's also not like men can have children or start families by themselves. I personally think I have more to offer my man than being attractive and the ability to bear children, but even if that's all it was, he clearly thinks it's a beneficial set-up or he wouldn't stick around.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/23 04:51 AM

yea you've got no clue just how much of that female "friend" behavior is performative. With men at least they generally make it clear when they have a problem with you or don't like you. With women you really never know who you can trust.

Well if it's something you're actually questioning, maybe take some time to self reflect. Insults and harsh opinions tend to hit harder when we feel like there may be some truth woven in. If you think you might be that way and you don't want to be, it's time to make some changes.

I'm in a small city and I like it pretty well. traffic is easy and I've got enough important shit here for work and stuff. I do like country living and was considering moving up to my family's farm in Northern Alberta eventually, but that one's perhaps a hit too remote.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/23 04:15 PM

It's not. The point is you're odds may be better with a low n woman than a high one, not that there's any guarantee.

I don't think about it much. My man's body type was not exactly on the forefront of my mind when getting together with him. I thought he was super hot and all, but it was his attitude towards me and shit that turned me on the most. I didn't have a specific favourite body type before hand, but all I know know is that I loveee his. Just seeing him shirtless or smthn makes me want to fuck his brains out.

Nah, although my number one Love Language is Physical touch, gifts are great ways to show you care about a person. They don't have to be anything expensive our elaborate, it really is the thought that counts. Something important to remember about love languages, is just as we like to receive love in that way, it's also how we like to show our own love. I love buying my partner presents as well.

I'm pretty sure most men like feminine women. The biggest thing I got told growing up on how to attract men is to act more feminine.

My dad loves football so I grew up watching it and he'd take us to games. CFL tho. We'll watched NFL occasionally. Hockey is definitely more popular for most Canadians tho. I don't really enjoy watching sports that much, although going to games in person is a lot of fun. Last year's superbowl was on my b-day and everyone was watching the game which pissed me off a bit 😂

I was asking if you thought all men wanted children because you specifically pointed out women not desiring children as a problem. That would only be a problem for men who actually desire children (even then, women who do want kids still exist), so it's not a very good argument as to why women are so awful imo

Okay? So what? Name the 3 or 5 aspects that you think are the most important for a man to be attractive to women. Put them in order as well. I answered what it takes to attract women. What it takes to be content as a person and in your relationship is a different question altogether.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/23 08:57 PM

Say what you want, a tall, attractive, charismatic man with game will never have problems getting laid regardless of how "competent" he is.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/23 08:44 PM
1

My point is if a guy is physically hot enough and sexually attractive, for a lot of women, young women in particular, more "competency" based standards go out the window. Yes being rich and having money makes you more attractive for a relationship, but it doesn't affect sexual attraction at all. She's not attracted to you, she's attracted to what you can provide for her. I've seen plenty of poor hot losers get girls and sex, ltr's too. But I don't see any guys getting laid just from being "compe…

Most women I know want a man who's at least taller than them, so 5'10 - 5'11" is a safe number that will be taller than most women, but obviously the taller you are, getting into the 6' - 6'5" range the more options you'll have, and the more it will make up for other lacking traits. Plus you'll have access to the height queens if that's smthn you want. Frame is a bit more subjective, but obviously fit and broad shoulders is the traditional ideal, I don't think you can really go wrong with that. …
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/23 08:14 PM
1

Style was kind just because I couldn't think of a fifth. Money isn't attractive. Having money puts food in the fridge, but it doesn't make a chick want to genuinely fuck you more. What makes a person attractive are these surface level traits.

I just don't understand you 😭
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/23 09:28 AM

Men and women contribute the same. Men on average receive less than women. Men are paying the same for less benefit. How is this difficult to understand?

Yea, I know your mindset about it already (even if I find it a bit depressing)
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/23 08:15 AM
1

Yea that's an aspect too. I don't doubt that women probably date older at least more often than men do, but there are so many things that could explain these statistical differences. Longevity is a likely factor. Both my grandmothers outlived their husbands by over 15 yrs. Granted my grandma on my dad's side was significantly younger than my Grandpa. On my mom's side tho my Grandpa died in his sixties and my grandma is pushing 90

I remember one time I went out to a Japanese restaurant with my Japanese teacher and some classmates. I had totally forgotten that the girl I was sitting across from was vegan and I had already ordered my food (basically a bunch of meat lol). I asked her while the food was coming if she was a vegan for health reasons or ethical reasons. She said "A bit of both" 💀 I felt so bad lol, I was legit eating baby calamari (you could see the little tentacles and everything) right in front of her. I said …

This is all I'm saying: Statistically speaking, men on average receive less benefit for the same contribution. This is a fact. If we were to approach this issue the way insurance companies do, we would either make women contribute more, or decrease their benefit. The fact that insurance companies are allowed to discriminate against men based on statistics leaves the question of why we're not allowed to do the same to women. As I've said in the other reply, I think we should get rid of statistic …

There plenty of men drawing CPP into their 90s and women who die in their 60s and 70s. Suggesting that those (and all) women should pay more or receive less on the basis of sex to “equalize” the fact men as a whole have a shorter average lifespan and less time to benefit from CPP is clearly unfair. How is this in any way different than the insurance situation? Men are required to pay "more" for their insurance based on statistics they may not even personally contribute to. If we were to change t…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/23 07:21 AM
1

I was just teasing. I thought it's funny you said men just need to live longer when you yourself don't even really expect to live that long. In all seriousness tho, you can't really opt out of contributing to CPP, so if you're going to die before you even receive it (like say at 50 :P) or before you receive as much of it as you could have had you been a woman, you're not really getting your money's worth.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/23 07:16 AM
1

How is it ridiculous? Women simply get more money for the same contributions. I'm not even arguing for anything here, I'm just explaining how it works.

Mr. "I'll be dead by 50"
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/23 07:02 AM

reduced benefits for equal contribution enacting the changes would (statistically speaking) actually equalize things. Men already have reduced benefits in spite of equal contribution. An example of this is life annuities. When you purchase a life annuity, they take into account your life expectancy and men can typically get higher payments for the same amount of money.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/23 07:02 AM

How do you feel about men being charged more for vehicle insurance?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/23 06:58 AM

Kind of funny coming from you lol
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/23 06:58 AM

This is pretty clear cut discrimination. Imagine charging African-Americans or American Indians higher life insurance premiums because of their higher mortality. That wouldn't' fly. Also I agree with you here. My answer in class was more along the lines of just removing these statistics based discriminatory practices altogether.

So men can work the same, contribute the same, and live in Canada for the same amount of time but receive less CPP benefits. The benefit amount is solely based on a person's income, contributions and time lived in Canada. Essentially a man and a woman could work the same job, for the same amount of time, making the exact same income and contributions, and live in Canada for the exact same amount of time, and retire at the same age. Accordingly their monthly benefit amount would be the exact same…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/23 06:53 AM

yes the contributions are exactly the same. Nothing about the plan is gender specific.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/23 06:49 AM
3

My point is, so long as we live by the notion of a "patriarchy," rectifying inequalities that screw over men will only ever seen as proof of the "patriarchy" we exist in. This was my thoughts. Even if the government were to implement something to make this more equal, it would be met with so much backlash for seeming anti-woman, it wouldn't get anywhere. I was trying to find a good article that talks about this issue and I could mainly only find ones claiming that the system is biased towards me…

Sharing, clamoring, chasing, believing they are in a relationship when they are not. Women are probably more likely to say they are in a relationship, while men are more likely to say they are not. Yea I can see this making up part of the discrepancy. I wouldn't doubt women dating older contributes as well though.

Here's something interesting my professor mentioned in class a while ago (well at least I found it interesting). He was talking about how although our society spouts equality above everything else, insurance companies still charge men more on the basis of statistics. Statistically men cost insurance companies more so men pay higher insurance premiums, that's the justification. Here in Canada we have the Canadian Pension Plan. Based on the time you've lived in Canada, your income, and contributio…

/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/23 06:04 AM

I mean you're right... 😅 I'm just personally a fan of shaved or buzzed look so I have bias lol Although I can agree balding young makes it rough for men with the majority of women, I do think it's worth pointing out that if young women are dating more than young men, they've got to be dating someone. I doubt they're all just dating other women, but yea it's also not foolproof that it means they're mostly dating older men.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/23 05:59 AM

Do you think it's better to have more success when older, like men, or younger, like women?

I'm pro-life 🤷‍♀️ There are more than enough preventative measures men can take advantage of if they don't want children. If you want to nut in a chick you can deal with the consequences. It is shameful to be a deadbeat dad. Shitty dads should be ashamed of themselves.

Whether they should or not, it's not a free speech thing. I'm not up to date with the laws there, but restricting what can be put in public school libraries is much different than banning books as a whole. I don't think taking measures to not include explicit sexual content in school libraries is a bad thing, but yes if people are getting charged with felonies for having the books in their classroom that's extreme. Unless it was clearly a deliberate breaking of the law, thus exposing children to…

Fishing up north is great. I visited the NWT a few summers when I was a teen. We were on a huge river (Mackenzie River) and fishing right off the bank. You could fish all night and into the morning because it never got dark. I'm not much of a fisher but I liked doing it with my dad. He's usually a stickler for getting to bed at a good time but when we were up there he was out till 3:00 am fishing.

Oh that's more of a glance, I wouldn't be too concerned about creeping her out. I think it's pretty normal to look at people as they pass by (Maybe I'm weird tho idk 🤣). I thought you meant you were like straight staring at her or smthn initially lol
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/23 09:09 AM
1

hmm... well Idk then, it is odd she never made eye contact or smiled up until this point. There's really no way to know for sure I suppose. Is it like, prolonged staring? I could see that being creepy. If it's just looking to smile or acknowledge her, I don't see that being a problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/23 09:01 AM
1

Wdym recognize? Do you know her? Generally I'll smile politely at anyone if I'm passing by closely enough, it just seems like the nice thing to do. I wouldn't read into it too much. Whether she's creeped out or just being polite. I highly doubt it would be an IOI, and if it is an indicator it's a pretty shit one and she should try harder next time 😂. Generally if I find a guy cute I'll want to look more than once lol
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/23 08:42 AM
5

I'm gonna throw a fit
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/23 08:37 AM
1

Could be 1 or 2, even if she thinks you're cute or smthn, she'd have to do more than half smile for it to indicate anything. If she has avoided eye contact every other time up until this point it's likely option 1. Generally when I pass by someone I make eye contact and smile, nod or say hi. It honestly feels more awkward not to usually.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/23 08:36 AM

Cute when you're either dating, or for sure know you're into each other. Me and my bf used to do everyday, although I'm normally the one who texts first. Admittedly we've both been forgetting lately tho.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/23 06:18 AM

I literally have never shot a gun and my family doesn't own a gun, so I'd be pretty fucked in that regard unless I went to my bf's place first thing. I'd be done for from the get go, so I'd probably just try to enjoy my last moments doing smthn chill.

Men. Me and my man hypothesize about survival/apocalypse situations a lot. Honestly I'm sure I would die pretty early on. We always talk about which buildings would be the best to make base in, where we should go first, etc. But yea, men would be better options, ultimately I would prioritize finding my family and sticking with them tho.

/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/23 04:43 AM
3

Tbh pets aren't a huge deal to me. I grew up in a no pet household (well other than fish, and they're more like furniture) and so I always obsessed about having a cat. I do have a cat now and I love her to pieces, but I totally get why some people just don't want pets. And if I met the right guy and he was pet free, I'd be willing to give up having cats.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/23 04:39 AM

I went to a small k-12 school and when I was in grade 11 or so they renovated the high school wing and brought in a bunch of new furniture. One of the students in our class kept drawing and scratching in swastikas all over the furniture. We all knew it was him but I guess the teachers couldn't nail him for it for some reason. So they assembled all the high school students and threatened to give all the nice new furniture to the middle school students if we didn't treat it correctly. This was on …

It's not patriarchal, there are no systems preventing women from voting for the changes they want or working in higher paying fields.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/23 03:19 AM
3

So this is about politics then, not gender.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/23 03:16 AM
3

Women can vote. And the government will still only pay as much as they need to bring in workers.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/23 03:09 AM
4

yes and they can afford to get it cheaper because they are willing to work for cheaper. If dangerous jobs payed as much as childcare and eldercare, no one would do it
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/23 02:58 AM
4

How is this gendered tho? This is just the government prioritizing different services. Every employer is looking to get their labour as cheaply as possible. The notion that they would pay more because "man" is ridiculous if you actually understand how the market works.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/23 02:54 AM
2

It does determine pay. Companies need those workers. They would not be willing to work such jobs unless they were adequately compensated. So companies are willing to pay more because they need those workers.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/23 02:46 AM
4

It's not undervalued. It's valued at the price consumers are willing to pay for. Parents and seniors cannot afford to pay as much for labour as big companies can. It's unrelated to gender
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/23 02:39 AM
4

It's not purposeful, it the forces of the market. Women can also work construction if they want, I know plenty of women in construction and other stereotypically male trades.

I think it's a "grass is always greener" kind of situation. I have learned to kind of like how I look, but if I could have gone into character creator mode and have chosen a different body type, different hair, different facial features, etc., there is definitely different features I would like better. I am always admiring how other women look and wish I could be like them, it's just not in the genes no matter how much I want it. And yea no one has really called me ugly, it's just an insecurity …
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/23 10:55 PM

Really? My hair does much better in a humid environment. My house is really humid because we have a shitton of fishtanks so if I let my hair air dry at home it always turns out better. If it's too dry (like anywhere else other than my house, I'm Canadian) it just frizzes up and is super puffy. When I visited Cuba, my hair was so much more cooperative.

Then humour me this why do all major religions command unquestionable obedience of women towards men even to the extent of allowing men to beat their wives if their step out of line? I'm part of a major religion and we don't allow that. why is that conveniently women's complimentary role in traditional realtionship is lower in heirarchy to men? Men are naturally better leaders. No matter what relationship you have, someone inevitably takes on a leadership role and position of more power (even "e…

I'm always a bit jealous of my bf's friendships with other men. Whether it's a guy thing, or just my own issues with making friends, he makes friends with people so easy when he wants to. And all his male friendships are so wholesome.

I would think he may be overreacting, but I would be willing to chat with him about it and stuff, I wouldn't just write of his feelings. I'm not a very assertive person, so I probably would just uncomfortably go along with it too. I don't go out to places like that tho

It depends. Like trauma dumping early on isn't really a good thing, but there were certain things about my bf that were really important for him to let me know at some point. Knowing certain things about his history and past was important for me to better understand him and approach certain issues in the relationship. But being emotional and crying doesn't always have to be about trauma either. Most of the crying I've seen the men I look up to most do has been through being very emotionally move…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/23 06:59 PM
1

I can see why you would feel that way even if I don't think crying is something to feel ashamed about, nor does it always reflect a poor control of emotions. It obv depends on the circumstances, but I generally view crying as just another kind of expression, like how people laugh when they're happy. I would consider poor control over emotions to be throwing a temper tantrum, or acting inappropriately (basically just more based in actual actions, not just expression) Anyways, it's not so much the…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/23 06:43 PM

I mean I don't think you necessarily have to cry to express emotions in a healthy way, but if you have a lot of fear and anxiety around showing those emotions to the person most important to you, I would think it would be something worth working through.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/23 06:32 PM
3

It's not so much whether they can avoid it, but whether they need to. Also I did try to avoid crying for a long time. I was mostly successful, but I feel better now that I allow myself to cry. I've seen basically all the important men in my life cry at some point, my brother, my dad, brother-in-laws, and my bf. If you surround yourself with the right people, you don't always have to act tough.

I don't understand married ppl who are just like "yea, we never have sex" as if it's comparable to smthn like "oh we don't travel much" or "my wife doesn't game with me". Like I see it all the time with these kinds of posts, they'll be talking about some minor conflict or smthn pretty unimportant and then mention in passing that they hardly fuck, or their partner has no sex drive. I was a tall asshole (accidentally) and got rewarded with female attention in high-school. Tbh I think my brother is kind of like this. He's not very friendly, and he tends to be very quiet around most people. But he's also very confident and isn't afraid to speak his mind when the time comes, and he can come across as extremely blunt and/or rude. But he had so many women obsessing over him anyways, and still gets a lot of female attention even outside of high school. I remember vividly I was at…

how do you define "friend"? I technically have more male friends than female friends, but I have more female friends as my closest friends. I only ever see the guys in group settings for the most part, whereas I'll hang-out with girls one on one.

thats sort of what I am describing though, the fact that you feel comfortable making those jokes could mean on some level, subconsciously you don't really see him as a man You're overthinking this lol. Yea Ik guys talk about different things, but I can't imagine it being so serious that it'd warrant a break-up or mean anything more than just light-hearted conversation. Like my man has admitted he wouldn't be able to take his best friend in a fight, it doesn't make him look like a lil bitch. If anything, him thinking he's tougher than he is and then getting pissy when someone reality checks him would be more cringe.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/23 07:48 AM

So can fat people depending on their levels. Also, that tells me nothing about the relationship. What is widely considered as "fat" is being overweight, it's not beneficial for health in anyway. The severity can get worse and worse, but it's always more ideal to not be overweight health-wise. When I say fat, I mean overweight in the medical sense. Being doesn't automatically mean they maintain their appearance. assuming you meant to type "fit" there. Maintaining your health, which involves eatin…
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/23 10:29 PM

On a sub like this tho, where people talk about dating dynamics and are constantly assessing people's value as partners, it's silly to get pissy about them calling a fat woman lower value or saying they personally find it gross.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/23 10:08 PM
1

being fit doesn't necessarily mean being a body builder or an athlete, it simply means maintaining your health. I've already explained why being fit is more beneficial for a long term relationship.

/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/23 09:54 PM

lol I really don't see how being fit isn't of higher value, but I guess it's uncool to think that for some reason. Okay.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/23 09:46 PM
1

That doesn't mean being fat is better. All else being equal, having a partner who maintains their health and appearance, is more physically capable, less likely to develop expensive medical problems down the line, and has a longer life expectancy is the higher value option.

I wasn't really looking for a relationship at that time anyways, and eventually I did date one of them who I'm still dating now. My point is them being better looking wouldn't have made a difference to me because I never really delegated them to the friendzone only position. I found most of my male friends attractive enough, it's just nothing ever happened.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/23 06:27 PM
1

I suppose so. But I also think it's fine to approach these kinds of things with a healthy amount of skepticism, especially online like this. Like yea it's frustrating to have your stories doubted, I know from first-hand experience, but ultimately I think the "believe all victims" mentality is worse. For the record that doesn't mean I think ppl should go to everyone's vulnerable stories and call them liars and shit if that's what they think, but she's not responding to a singular story here. She'…

I mean you hear shit like this from both sides, men doubting women's stories of SA or catcalling, or women questioning men on their stories with shitty girlfriends. Ultimately people should be taking the stuff they read posted anonymously online like this with a grain of salt, and I can't really fault her for having her own doubts based on personal experience. I have men tell me I'm straight up lying about things all the time baselessly, simply because it doesn't fit into their world view.

You could just fuck her in the ass and it'd solve the problem. Also would you prefer she use a regular dildo??
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/23 06:02 AM
1

I always joked with my bf that if I ever got a dildo it'd have to be a mold of his dick or else I'd be cheating on him lol. I wonder how the mold making process works tho 🤔

ah yea facial hair is the best fix for baby face usually, tough that it's not so easy for you. My man has a baby face when he shaves, but I find it cute as hell. Probably not the best for looking for a partner tho

/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/23 01:44 AM

hmm.. I won't say they're not being shallow, but personally I would never tell someone to lower their standards unless they're bitching about it. Like if they are genuinely happier single than dating a guy that doesn't meet their standards, then go them. If they're complaining about lack of good guys or being single than yea, they should lower them.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/23 01:43 AM
2

fair fair, those requests are quite ridiculous
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/23 01:32 AM

I don't really want to live anywhere else but where I am, I love my city. Besides a decent house here doesn't cost a million dollars. My sis got nice big house for around 350k, it's older and may need some work, but it's great for raising a family. I plan on looking for smthn similar when I'm purchasing my home in a few years. Also I don't need to save up that much, I only plan on saving enough for a 20% down, although even that much isn't necessary to buy your first home.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/23 12:31 AM
2

I asked my mom this question and she was just like "I had 'must be taller than me' on my list." 😂 Like that's a super basic one lol, not to mention two of her bf's before my dad were significantly shorter than her including her longest non-marriage relationship so it's clearly not even much of a 'requirement'.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 11:35 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 08:27 PM

No haha, I've only had one partner. I was just tryna picture it in my head. I was chatting with my bf about this and he said I have no right to talk 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 08:12 PM
1

hmm... idk I guess. I just don't think 4-5 is that bad
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 08:09 PM
1

I was thinking more like 2-3 inches for micro
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 07:15 PM
2

I'd probably pick a micropeen over a completely disfigured and ugly face 🤔 overall tho I would probably choose neither. Granted a lot of guys who complain about their smalle penises aren't even in micro territory yet
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 05:26 PM
1

Okay 😁 You seem like you would be a fun uncle
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 05:10 PM

to see how much you're willing to spend? My brother is 22, and he recently got a really nice wristwatch for Christmas. It was a pretty cool gift and he wears it everywhere. Other gifts he really appreciated when he was ages 19 to now was a classy tie and a nice leather work bag. They're kind of "coming of age" gifts and I think he liked being treated like an adult. I suppose he also has always preferred a classier look, but that's just him.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 05:05 PM

Of course I like men. I would be pretty upset if I had to go about life without them.

/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 04:55 PM

I would definitely want my husband there. I would want both my mother and husband present.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 04:49 PM

my sister did smthn similar but in a hospital in case something went wrong. She had a midwife do the delivery and didn't have any medication. I plan to do the same when I have kids, I want as natural a birth as possible, but I do want to be in a hospital in case something goes wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 04:32 PM

good job Gaston. You are an inspiration to all! ❤️❤️❤️
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 07:58 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 06:36 AM

I burn things, I'm awful with seasonings, I don't have a good taste for what's good, etc. I'm great at baking tho, it's more systematic
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 04:15 AM

Brisbane
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 04:14 AM

I can cook, I'm not very good at it tho
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 03:35 AM

It depends on the severity of autism tbh. I always say I could never date an autist, and I stand by it, but some people with autism are still fairly normal but just a bit socially off. I grew up with this severely autistic kid in my church tho, and he was an absolute nightmare. He's exactly as you described here. The problem is they've started categorizing everyone on the same scale. Like a person with aspergers (now outdated term) is leagues ahead of what used to be considered autism.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 03:25 AM

I've never really approached this thing as me vs men, so finding common ground isn't really necessary. I've pretty much migrated to only the daily so I find it fun to just shoot the shit and muck about
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 02:22 AM

Autism in men is a death sentence dating wise. Yea it makes it tough unless they find another autistic person or smthn
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 02:20 AM

I don't think she acts autistic, practically the opposite. My family always says my kind of humour reminds them of her lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 02:19 AM

cute 💕
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 02:17 AM

No idea, I didn't even realize he was moving until I got the invite lol. I'll have to ask him tonight
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 02:17 AM

I'm not sure lol. He just said everyone come, gave us an address, and no other details. I guess I'll see when I get there tonight 😅 I hope there's snacks
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 01:05 AM

work, save, and invest
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 12:49 AM

Y'all wanna come?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 12:47 AM

One of my old high school friends is moving to Australia, so he's throwing a giant good-bye party. He told everyone to invite as many people as they can so I may be seeing a lot of old faces tonight 😬

It's not crazy. Me and my bf still have things we keep private from one another but we both have full access to each other's phones. Neither of us really take advantage of it for the most part tho. Private messages with certain close friends are the main things we keep private.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/23 05:45 PM

I see. Tbh if my kid chose a super expensive college or university just to be a lil bitch instead of a cheaper alternative, I'd probably only partially pay for it.

Tbh I can't fathom how people get by without fucking
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/23 05:35 PM

majority of them gotta be boys How do you plan on making sure this happens? But l am not paying for all their Colleges, Matter fact l better be gone by the time they are that grown So why do you actually want kids if you just want them gone as soon as they possibly can? 🤔 I'm hoping to save enough for all my kids education and I'd probably let them live at home as long as they are working or in school. eta: misread, op said he wants to be gone by that time, which is still a bit concerning

/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/23 02:03 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/23 01:55 AM

Interesting, I suppose so
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/23 01:54 AM

someone should do a chadfish experiment where the good looking guy acts like an autistic socially awkward nerd. Or just really goofy and cringey. Idk if someone did that already
