she kicked my mentally ill dad out, when she dragged him into the marriage That's confusing. She kicked him out when she dragged him in? she dragged him into the marriage with some other guys kid Who married the other guys kid? OP's mom or the dad? (older sister) so she didn't look like a whore Why did the older sister look like a whore? Or was it the mom? Or the other guy's kid? It mostly makes sense once you know the meaning, clarified in the follow-up comment. But everything about that senten…

Are you dyslexic? Your initial comment is super confusing btw. It sounds like mom did a good thing by kicking out mentally ill dad. It's somewhat clear that dad got dragged into marriage, but isn't clear who is allegedly a whore (mom or older sister).

He doesn't have a problem with someone exploiting/exposing an unfair system to make a point that it's bullshit... Which means he obviously has a problem with the government giving women double.

I want to expand on that a bit. It's "I'm trash who attracts and dates losers. Therefore every man must be a loser and they should all be treated like trash."

If you don't like someone's height (too short/tall) there isn't really anything they can do about. Sometimes it's easier to accept criticism with something you can't change. If someone won't date you because you're white or 5'5" or you only have one arm... well you can accept that and move on because you can't really change any of that about yourself. Maybe they are shallow, but everyone is allowed to have preferences. You just know you aren't compatible, end of story. If someone says your hair …

if they put that much effort into losing weight If they put what much effort into losing weight? I don't really see any effort being exerted here. Losing weight is a simple formula but self-discipline is a whole different beast.

I think both are stupid, but the difference is that a woman (or a man) can change their weight. So if you are indicating a preference, you are insulting someone for eating too much, not exercising enough, etc. It implies they are lazy and flawed due to something you can control but you're too lazy to fix it. That's why it's more offensive. With height, you can't control it so you just throw up your hands and say "Welp, I guess that cuts me out of X% of women's preference." It's actually fine to …

I don't think I've ever seen a male Subway worker. I go to like 4 or 5 different ones pretty regularly (once or twice a week) and it's always all female staff. Which-iarchy is that

Touched at a BDSM event where the ink on my 'you agree not to touch anyone without consent' form wasn't even fucking dry by some fat chick. See, she probably didn't sign one of those so she was in the clear.

That's kind of dangerous too. It's possible to win kids loyalty/happiness by being a super shitty parent (goes both ways for both parents).

constantly making women feel it's their responsibility alone to prevent sexual assault There are three groups of people here: rapists, men, and women. Men have nothing to do with this situation (unless they happen to be a rapist). Keep us out of it. Rapists are criminals who are opportunistic. I'm just a man, not a rapist. I've seen drunk girls in skimpy clothes and it's never crossed my mind to rape them. Now as an outside observer, I might recommend to women "hey you might not want to get drun…

A rapist is an opportunistic criminal. They are always to blame. Even if a woman dresses in skimpy clothes, gets uncontrollably drunk, and doesn't have a safe ride home or safe place to stay... she is NOT to blame. Her actions are presenting the opportunity for the rapist (an opportunistic criminal) to victimize her. It's still the rapist's fault, not hers.

That was the defense lawyer who said that. If you ask me, she shouldn't necessarily be named but the guys who were originally accused shouldn't have been named either. I'm just satisfied with the fact she got actual jail time since you rarely hear of it in these cases.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
