To make the letter thing work you would need to include lawyers. I do think financial abortion is a good thing but it would only work after a system to oversee every person was already implemented.

Damn I feel really lucky for my childhood. My parents were best friends before and after marriage, so they stuck together until my sister graduated high school. The courts still made my dad pay child support, even though he lived in the same house with us.

You went on assistance cause you needed to and to better yourself. My co worker does it cause neither of them want to work a full time job but still want to buy things. At just 40 hours a week, she would bring in 2k a month.

The reason I asked was if you were taking the stay at home father route, like my brother, and you had a partner working full time then you could afford buying shit for your kids. If you were alone and had to cut hours to raise them, then assistance is totaly fine. The lady I am talking about makes 16 an hour but decides to works 1-2 half days a week. Her husband stays home and his parents raise the girls.
