Apparently, Another predictor of infidelity was attractiveness. A person's own attractiveness was negatively associated with infidelity among women but not men - meaning less attractive women were more likely to have an affair. A partner's attractiveness was negatively associated with infidelity among men but not women - meaning men were more likely to be unfaithful when their partners were less attractive. https://www.business-standard.com/amp/article/pti-stories/unattractive-women-more-likely-…

You too are conflating PSL and KCAS. KCAS has nothing to do with cultural beauty standards/preferences. Big noses may or may not be penalized depending on the balance of the face, and the same goes for other masculine traits too. [KCAS] evaluates symmetry, balanced proportions, and the absence of distortions. Please re-read my original before engaging unless you are actually trying to agree with me.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/25 07:45 AM

You are still conflating PSL and KCAS. Big noses may or may not be penalized depending on the balance of the face, and the same goes for other masculine traits too. Rugged features that are proportionate and harmonized do not indicate genetic flaw. Asymmetrical fuck ups do get penalized. And faces thought to be conventionally attractive can still contain structural flaws that signal reduced genetic stability.

Big nose may or may not be penalized depending on the balance of the face. Asymmetrical fuckups would be penalized but we are not touching on how conventionally beautiful women could actually be biologically flawed unknowingly but in a subconscious manner.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/25 08:08 PM

Deep mate choice like marriage or childrearing still aligns with unconscious viability instincts in non-Christian crowd. You are missing the actual point here. I think you may be confirming the hypothesis with your second rebuttal. I am actually rejecting the idea of mating across conventional beauty standards, but adopting the idea of mating across the genetic health markers. Being KCAS-matched but PSL-mismatched tends to create stable, lasting bonds. Being PSL-matched but KCAS-mismatched typic…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/25 07:16 PM

Tastes only matter once someone is sufficiently within your biological range. It is quite likely that my past crushes didn’t lead to a biological choice, because it never crossed that viability threshold. I acted on securing my boyfriend, never the others while I would have dated them if they asked me out. But the thing is, I kinda dated without making a true biological commitment. I didn’t even have sex with my boyfriends, and I never selected anyone in a way that reflects deep mating investmen…

Shame we can't make looks-based posts. I did post it as a comment on the looks thread though.

Women ARE Punching Up On OLD To have this discussion, we first need to touch briefly on Physical Sexual Looks Rating (PSL). PSL is something untrained eyes can observe instantly, especially in 2D formats like photos. It rewards striking, sexually dimorphic traits—features that catch attention quickly—rather than reflecting true biological health markers. In contrast, there is Korean Clinical Aesthetic Scoring (KCAS). Originally developed by Korean clinicians, KCAS is the only standardized metric…

On the bias towards their current partner, the study itself acknowledges it. One of the analyses done by the study itself was comparing between partnered and single participants. They directly tested whether patterns differed between single and partnered participants. <image> You can analyze the raw data yourself, and only look at non-partnered participants. That's the beauty of raw data analysis. Or just don't. When you are skeptical, there's no better way than to read the paper and look at its…

It is an extra piece of information to help you decide whether you want to engage with the data or not. Attractiveness ranking so high for both genders and the stated vs. revealed ranks differing by a lot fascinated me enough to make me look into the actual data. The study says that stated vs. revealed preferences can differ by a lot, and I think the raw data sufficiently shows it. I am not claiming the study is accurate by any measure. It is an exploration of a paper I found fascinating.

Extroversion is not as attractive as many of us deemed it to be, but is probably quite important for visibility still. Being financially secure means so little. I think the study needs to be paired with other studies and could be prone to misinterpretation even with the beta scores. There's a study that talks about predictors of infidelity for example. "Choice" alone is not all that matters. How we could be made aware of these traits of others could also be a point of discussion.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/25 11:42 PM

I think Attractive having similar enough beta scores for both genders should be noted. Rank 1 vs. Rank 5 might give a different idea.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/25 11:20 PM

Pulling Top-10 doesn't really capture what the beta scores tell us. Similar beta score means similar effect. The scores should be compared to each other, not the rank to best use the data.

China is less patriarchal than you may believe especially in the bigger cities. You might want to look up how the cultural revolution has impacted gender equality in China. It is a lot less patriarchal than Japan or Korea.

Most cute old couples stories go like, "oh he pursued me relentlessly, and I gave in. (couple giggling together remembering the old times)" It probably works best when the man is crazy about the woman, and the woman knows to appreciate and reciprocate.

I think it is fair to say that certain preferences can be quite unrealistic depending on the preference or one's own desirability. I don't think it is wrong to have "unrealistic preferences" per se, but I would give the person the side eye if one doesn't realize one's preferences are kinda unrealistic. I say this as a person who held out for a long time too.

/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/24 08:52 PM

There is a big difference between knowing you did something wrong and getting disciplined and not knowing what you did wrong and getting hit. Neglect and failure to provide subsequent consequences raise some kind of failure. Source? Generational wisdom. New behavioral scientific research has gotten us breeding weak useless snowflakes.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/24 08:13 PM

Most Asian kids turn out non-evil with the disciplining we do. I don’t believe strict discipline is the primary factor, but neglect and a lack of subsequent consequences. And disciplining them in whatever way possible until they don’t need it is necessary. Being fine with less than desirable behavior is what breeds failures.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/24 07:24 PM

It seems to have worked for the purposes it was supposed to serve at least.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/24 06:44 PM

How we treat our kids has changed. Kids need more disciplining from their parents, probably especially boys. Most Asian dads around me beat their sons a lot more for disciplining them. That used to be the traditional way that I know.

Introversion for a non-outlier male should make dating exponentially difficult. Men are usually the ones who have to pursue and initiate partly due to female passivity and possibly also due to difference in libido/desire. Introversion for females shouldn't be that terrible as long as she interacts with humans somehow.

/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/24 01:48 AM
1

Well it could be their perception too, right? The consistent best is their market value unless they are some kind of a weird outlier. Their perception of themselves and/or perception of the men who are willing to give them commitment are skewed if they don't agree with what they are getting.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/24 10:21 PM
1

Eh. That's what PPD might think, but at least in my home country, guys who marry better looking women want their kids to look like the mom. You could throw any top actress into my family photos, and she would not stand out amongst my mom and my aunts. I wanted that.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/24 10:11 PM
1

A lot of people below you will want you especially if you are high value enough. So the best that you can consistently get is your value, not the average value of everyone who wants you. Just because men desire women who look like Victoria's Secret Angels (let's just use them as the desired women in this scenario for the sake of the argument) and possibly shoot their shots, it does not put them on the same level as those Angels or decrease the value of those Angels. If they can only get consiste…

How fucked up in the head was I to have wanted to clone my mom and have her clone as my child, rather than passing on my own genes? My insecurity when it came to my looks was so bad growing up.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/24 09:50 PM
1

It is not the average, but the best you can consistently get commitment from with reasonable effort and within a reasonable timeframe. Everyone (with exaggeration) can desire my mom, but just because mid men want her, it does not lower her value.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/24 09:43 PM

Yeah, you just have to avoid the shittiest people and you are fine in terms of that from the looks of what happens in my family or within my circle in my home country. That is not too difficult to vet for. Almost every male elder in my family is a HVM who can help vet. My mom already got a lot of other family members involved in the process. The worst things usually don’t happen when your elders are not stupid, and you are not stupid enough to dismiss your elders.

As long as you are upfront, I don't think you are necessarily being immoral. Young millennial. I don't feel odd hanging out one-on-one with anyone, so that's a bad metric. I have 3 friends that I would sacrifice quite a lot for, and have their backs. They are the three friends I would love to grow old with and retire together.

women don't like dating a large age gap, contrary to popular myth Yeah, I used to often say this with PPD guys trying so hard to deny it, but I think you are still somewhat in the safe. 35+ feels a whole lot different than 34 and under. I think 35 is the male "wall" while 30 is the female "wall" for what feels "old" to a good portion of dating aged people. I had no luck with women in their 20s on the apps, only women in their 30s with issues. I think only a certain demographic of women usually e…

Millennials are in the leftover market now. Most sane people of both genders seem to have been taken for a while. Like at this point, even if someone isn’t quite up to your standards, you might want to consider grabbing the first sane one you can get. I think you’d probably understand the importance of sanity. Also, I have had better experiences with slightly younger guys in general, and it is probably because their age group’s leftover ratio isn’t as high. It could be better to tap into that be…

I think the new dating culture where strangers attempt to date strangers has gotten way too many people jaded. Not only do we not know the character of the person we are dating, but we are also not as inclined to care for them and be decent when they are not a part of our community. I too ended up jaded, and finally understood why my mom gave me the advice she did which was to date someone from school or from work. /r/PurplePillDebate17/07/24 01:19 AM

I think people more often view this as a chicken or the egg problem when I don't as much. So people here often say virginity is unattractive. I think the reason why people may view virginity in a negative light is often because there is an assumption of an undesirable trait that has lead to him being a virgin, rather than just the virginity/lack of experience being unattractive. I hope I am making sense. That's probably why virginity becomes way more of an orange flag the older you get. Virgins …

No, we are actually giving hoes an out to prove that they are at least having children of one men. Instead, they could be left at the bottom of the barrel or as spinsters if they raise uncertainty, and the uncertainty alarms too many men.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/24 08:24 PM

My boyfriend’s friend group has been the opposite. They have been praising my boyfriend for his weight loss and how much better he looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/24 06:26 PM

I oppose it cause I am even more sex negative than most people here. Uncertain paternity is a consequence of choosing a hoe. Men should also bear the burden of vetting, so that the social contract of non-promiscuity is better maintained. Allow easy women to exist more easily? Then they deserve the uncertainty and the uncomfortable conversations for paternity testing. Just because a hoe keeps popping out children from just one man won’t make the society as non-promiscuous as I want it to be.

I think you could be limiting your observation pool to men who at least pass Rule #2. I think women could date below their looksmatch but only if the men pass Rule #2. Nah, sex is normalized enough that it actually deflates celibate women's value compared to the market norm, and normal men want sex enough that it can't inflate one's value in any normal sense. So you have to differentiate between STR and LTR. Yes, women relying on sex to boost their SMV works very well in STR situations. But sex within relationships has been normalized enough to the point that it is an expectation in LTRs as well, and women who decide to stay celibate until marriage are often disregarded from the market. I am lucky that I am from a sex negative culture in that sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/24 08:51 AM
2

It is not that I don’t agree it is heaps better than having no options at all. I just think it is stupid to try to date strangers in the first place. And yeah, those women got lucky if they got what they thought they were getting. My dad said marriage is a gamble and my mom said to only date men from either school or work, cause I need to observe the person in various situations in the wild to actually know the person enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/24 06:57 AM
1

This is what I changed my mind on not too long ago actually due to my own mom. I was surprised and disturbed to know that my mom likes the looks of much younger Asian actors, and told me that men her age are too old to be eye candies. Then I continued to observe older women admiring much younger men's beauty. I genuinely thought we continued to be attracted to our own age group probably because my peers are not deteriorating yet, but now I think deterioration plays a part after observing older l…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/24 05:25 AM

I actually never say that on PPD. Rule #2 almost always apply imo.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/24 05:22 AM
1

The ones you are talking to or observing might not be old enough yet to have deteriorating peers or they could be virtue signaling, who knows? Deteriorating is not a good look.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/24 04:32 AM
1

The women who choose to weed out strangers either have to be naive enough to think she can read minds and is all knowing like God or believe in extreme luck. Either way, it is prime stupidity. I don’t believe it is within the vast majority of people’s capabilities.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/24 04:23 AM
1

The order of importance imo Not being actually short > being facially attractive > Being tall
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/24 03:40 AM
2

I would honestly advise women to stop attempting to vet strangers and stick to men they already know very well if they don't want to waste their time or fail at vetting.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/24 03:28 AM
1

Physically attractive? I doubt it. Masculine and dependable? More likely. I also think there could be a higher ratio of men who want casual sex than women. Women when focusing on relationships would go more for compatibility.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/24 02:54 AM
-1

The Asian guy looks perfectly normal. He actually look better than bottom middle.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/24 02:10 AM
1

I get your point, but weeding out time wasters takes effort and time that you eventually give up trying to date strangers and realize it is smarter to stick to men you actually know very well.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 11:50 PM
2

Men have to care about BF% more than BMI to actually have an attractive body.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 11:02 PM
1

I think out of school dating is MUCH harder for many cause you lose your forced social circle with tons of people. Picking your battleground or your own market to your advantage is always going to be important. Having problems communicating and being socially active will limit one’s access no matter what. If one is asocial, one most likely needs to fix it, and it should not be normalized. And I see OLD as mostly leftover market.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 10:13 PM
1

Ish but probably not in the way you are thinking. Who do these men have access to and who do the women they desire have access to? Different marketplaces will have different standards, and I find it less realistic to combine all sexual marketplace into one. I more often than not have stayed in limited and/or niche markets, so the standards were different.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 09:59 PM
1

I understand, but what actually matters in practice is relative attractiveness within who people have reasonable access to.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 09:50 PM
1

Nice! I just ordered my first set of extensions so I am pretty excited myself. It will be interesting.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 09:47 PM
1

I think it depends heavily on your surroundings and who everyone else has access to.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 09:38 PM
2

I thought men just mindlessly swipe on these women without looking.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 04:55 PM
3

You really didn’t try after a while. Lol
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 04:01 AM
1

Depends on what you value. I believe practicing decency has helped me keep decent people around. Also, facing hardships while practicing virtue gives you a better idea of who’s virtuous and who’s not. It is mostly only helpful in deciding who to keep around you in your personal life.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 04:00 AM
2

Women are fatter statistically, but the statistical difference is quite small especially compared to the ratio of fat men to fat women on the streets we see.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 01:21 AM
1

Makes sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 01:00 AM
3

Having virtuous parents helps the children a lot in forming their own values.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 12:54 AM
5

I asked my bf why we see more fat women on the streets than fat men. He thinks it is because many fat men never go outside. So women get fat by going out and eating and drinking crap, while men get fat by not going out according to him.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 12:52 AM

My mom was cherished by my dad til death did them part. You have to choose well, and make sure you are not mainly valued for your beauty and your youth, but he deems you valuable and irreplaceable for some other reason. You of course have to have traits to be valued like that to that degree however.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 12:15 AM

Choose someone who is more transparent and knows he needs to make you feel special and safe, and ideally someone you know already to be extra safe. I have a lot more experience than my boyfriend, and we both know that. He said, my past is alright but he wants to feel special enough that he never gets jealous or wonders. I think that’s understandable for my less experienced bf to desire. And it probably would be better to choose someone who has been out of a relationship for a while and is quite …

/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/24 09:58 AM
1

I think at one point in time this was true. But with the divorce rate hovering around 50%, maybe its time we consider some fresh ideas. Treating marriage as a test run is not a good fresh idea though. We need to teach kids how to vet better.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/24 09:50 AM
2

Marriage is supposed to be the highest form of commitment WITH SUCH VOWS. Choose someone who would honor marriage and their vows to begin with. This is nonsense. If you can’t trust the vows coming out of his mouth, you should not be getting married to him in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/24 09:18 AM
2

That’s what marriage is already unless you are a degenerate and/or pick a degenerate. It is already the highest form of commitment for those who treat it as such. There’s no need for a dumb tattoo or two wedding bands or another engagement ring and a whole another wedding.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/24 09:08 AM
1

What’s the point of all this? Just get married to someone who believes in til death do us part, and thinks of marriage the same way as you do. I don’t know what people are smoking, but marriage is supposed to be the highest level of commitment already with the person that you would give such commitment to. Vetting should be done before marriage, not after marriage.

And as mentioned before it doesn't seem like a lot of these famous beautiful women prioritize looks in their men anyway. As I often say here, I think rule #2 almost always applies, but rule #1 usually applies to casual settings. Rule #2 plus charm are superior.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/24 01:41 AM

Yeah, I think track record matters too. Regardless, very impressive of Pete Davidson.

Nobody looks significantly better standing next to one another and look up Kim Kardashian without makeup.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/24 12:54 AM

I think it is due to relative perceived beauty. The Kardashians are "considered" to be beautiful, while Davidson is not "considered" to be handsome. I think they are more or less looksmatched though.

My impression of all or most feminism is that they view these characteristics and resulting personality traits as the result of socialization more than biology. I am a feminist that believes in nature. I think maybe 10% of men are naturally feminine and around 5% of women are naturally masculine enough to the point that they actually want opposite roles, and this happens to be on a spectrum. I used to raise my eyebrows sometimes when listening to JBP, cause his understanding of traditionalism is too surface level to be speaking with such confidence. He is right on some things for sure, but certainly not all. We need no more proof than how his own daughter turned out.

I dunno. My brain has been corrupted by the West. /s Is it because they want to keep their lineage 100% X ethnicity? Partly? I think all East Asian cultures think one's own culture is superior over the others for some dumb reason or just the competition and historical conflicts between the countries breed irrationality. Hafus are discriminated against quite a bit.

/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/24 10:43 AM

Same with my East Asian friends. My boyfriend’s group is a bit more diverse, but they too usually date within their ethnicity.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/24 11:16 PM

Not for the men in my home country. Our beauty standards are just eurocentric.

My menstrual cramps somehow got so much better with keto. My energy crash issue got much better with caring about blood sugar spikes. Btw you might want to look into intermittent fasting if you aren’t doing it already.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/24 09:11 PM

Do you live in a conservative area with maybe less Asians? I can't imagine young people in liberal cities saying such thing. If you do, get out of there. I don't think I have seen anyone dating outside of their social circle tbh.

I've been told by women they would date me if I wasn't brown and that I would be attractive if I was a white guy with the 'same features' but with white skin. Are you sure? Yes, this is partly why I gave formal commitment (introduction to family) to my volcel boyfriend only, and I didn't take forever to do so. I would have accepted someone who has only had sex within very committed relationships and was willing to wait with me too though probably... eventually... This is something I did somewhat change my attitude on, but here's another perspective. So I once thought dating was easier for more average people (more so women in specific), because I felt that it would be easier to tell who likes you as a person, rather than your superficial qualities. It is like people being nice to you because you are rich, and wanting nothing to do with you as a person, but will stick around for superficial reasons. Yes, being more attractive and having more options is ab…

My mom and I were discussing whether people around us are looksmatched or not recently actually. We concluded that her social circle consists of successful men and beautiful wives. At least in my culture, if a man is successful, we think it is normal for him to get a pretty wife.

Yeah, cause it is a factor why a good portion of women often opt to not have a child. Since BMI is the same calculation for men and women, 5'8" is still slightly shorter than average. If you actually combine men and women, 5'6" would be the average, not 5'8". BMI also happens to be a range for a reason albeit there are outliers. And bone mass and frame size significantly affects the East Asian population's BMI. https://preview.redd.it/s3fvrdtd228d1.png?width=544&format=png&auto=webp&s=e92be8a7e4224a03c894c5ed3bc207959aa00d8a

Hope this comment thread is old enough that it doesn't get seen by too many people. People usually don't respond too well to these things. I said here that I'm believably pretty, not unbelievably pretty. I have family members who are unbelievably pretty who look gorgeous in every angle and in every photo without any retouching. Some modeled, and a couple were better looking than the top actors/actresses of the generation. Asian beauty standards are harsh, but I have many family members who fit t…

follow your intuition It would not surprise me if women who ask such questions have very bad intuition. I did not go by intuition much either. My mom gave very easy to follow dating advice and I too developed my own list of traits to look for.

He may not smash another girl That exactly should be what's enforced by law, cause that should be the bare minimum. "Even if we fall out of love, we will remain together" is what I wrote in the first comment. The important part is one's duty to the family, not one's self-centered pursuit of happiness. I speak of the importance of becoming THE GIRL that men can't ever forget. If a woman can't get a man to be down bad for her, it is less likely that she would be cherished for life. I basically lea…

Unless women cheat with other women, it will be the same ratio of men and women. Since the men who can cheat according to you will be in jail. What a brainrot lol My boyfriend is a good looking volcel. Past actions tend to be a very good indicator of who they are, and isn't that why we avoid hedonistic degenerates? Yes, he does get cold approached by women yet he does not believe in casual sex nor does he believe in going on dates lightly just to see where things go. He is even weirder than me t…

Both the women and the men involved in the infidelity went to jail. It was 1:1. Extramarital partner and the one who cheated in marriage were sent to jail, not just one. Lol
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 02:53 AM

I think the right thing to do is to put people into jail for endangering families, and there are a lot of conservative people in my country who still think the same. You return to the family you came from with the child if that happens in my home country.

Kids also need to learn there are consequences of your actions and infidelity will not be tolerated under any circumstances. It was even a jailable offence in my country until things turned to shit.

I grew up with my dad always cherishing my mom, and would always have her best interests at heart. I think he was one of the most virtuous people I will ever know. In that sense, my boyfriend is exactly like my dad. I believe there isn't going to be another man who would forever be able to treat me as well as he does and never change. It is something I learned from my parents' relationship that I decided was the most important factor when choosing a life partner. I am very much like my own dad, …

Get desirable enough that you can go for men who already have those options, but still won't exercise them. They are not that common, so you need to be desirable enough to have your pick of the litter.

Look for a man with strong family values and will put the family above his own pleasure. You need to be able to be and do the same however. My boyfriend and I both agree that the only acceptable grounds for divorce are infidelity and abuse especially after having kids. Even if we fall out of love, we will remain together. How we personally feel or want for ourselves should not affect our dedication to the family. We are both willing to sacrifice ourselves for the family. This is not very common …

I am only bothered by plastic surgery. I don’t wear makeup regularly, but it is fun to dress up occasionally. I probably don’t look too different with makeup on though. It took my boyfriend some time to tell my face with makeup vs. my face without makeup. I think on Asian faces, a lot of makeup can overwhelm the face so easily.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/24 07:01 PM

Oh I so want to say something, but I think I will get in trouble if I said it. I agree with you though.

Same. Look up Adrian Gan.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/24 06:28 PM

I cut out most processed foods, refined carbs and sugar from my diet. I think a lot of it should be about what you eat, not just how much you eat. Of course, don’t overeat but Asian diet kept me away from ever getting close to being overweight even when I was stuffing my face with food.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/24 06:26 PM

Strangely enough, women never shamed me for the lack of makeup on my face. Two men had a problem with a lack of makeup on my face however, but that was in the course of my entire life. One guy had a gf who wasn’t as pretty as me even with makeup on. He was a weird dude. I was sick one day, and he said sickly women look better instead of asking if I was alright. The other guy worked in cosmetics. Oh the only girl who shamed me for my makeup had a problem with how I was faking pale skin, but I was…

With such long hairstyles, you need very prominent facial features to hold their ground even when you have attention catching hair, and I would say you probably do. Consider going for a slightly wavy style since if the hair falls too straight, people's eyes follow the same straight line down your face and it could appear even longer. I'd probably also try to find out which area needs more volume or the overall shape of the hair too. Not all long hair has the same shape or cut.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/24 05:45 AM
2

Safe and corporate is fine-ish, but your hair in the picture looks as if some amateur chopped it off with an axe. You honestly have a pretty decent base still that you could probably pull off less safe styles. I'd say try longer. Your face does look long, so avoid styles that would make your face look even longer.

For One Direction, whichever TV show they went on grouped them together, so they became a group like that without being chosen for being feminine and was probably more of a coincidence. I think historical boy bands could have been not all pretty.

/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/24 01:50 AM

Yeah, we have good accountants and my mom is quite literate when it comes to the taxation laws of my home country, but we still have to deal with batshit crazy taxation laws. My boyfriend's mom wants me to get sponsored by my bf cause she too knows how my status is not in favor of my situation at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/24 01:07 AM

Oh my. I rant about taxes almost every day (yes, my poor boyfriend deals with this), and I am currently talking to my mom about which citizenship I should keep according to what's better for me tax-wise. I probably will give one up after getting married.

All guys are in love with different girls LOL I would not believe that in a million years. My mom could write a saga on men who pursued her. Her sister also has a long list of men some of whom are now high profile men who wanted to get with her. I can't even remember every guy who gave me a Valentine, and my boyfriend was anxious when pursuing me, cause he knew many guys who also liked me.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/24 12:38 AM

I don't think you are 75, but someone could be in the leftover market without actually being a bad leftover. The person would still have to deal with the leftover market however.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/24 12:26 AM

I think what's made together could be joint, but what your parents passed on to you should ideally be somewhat separate. I only try to use my dad's money in the ways he would have wanted to. Pre-marital, I think the person who brought the money should have the ultimate say, but with the other person's interests in mind.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/24 12:24 AM

You have to think about what associated characteristics a person who makes certain decisions would have. Ask yourself why in every scenario. If you are only chasing youth, it is definitely a possibility. But if you are looking for other traits, you need to be smart and not miss the boat.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/24 12:13 AM

are married at this age They are usually not married YET, but are in a serious relationship with the future in mind ime. Unavailable cause they are in stable relationships. I think 27 is still doable if you have a large enough community though.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/24 12:03 AM

Yeah, it is way earlier than most people think imo. You know I'm not too old. This likely is about when people are able to find each other. Once sane relationship oriented people find each other, they often are off the market for good.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/24 11:52 PM

It slowly happens once you are out of school imo. I think as an East Asian, you are kinda sorta screwed once you hit your late 20's, and we have more leeway cause we have enough kids who are so focused on their education/career. I think about two years after getting your bachelor's could be when a lot of good prospects are already taken, cause a lot of people get their adult social groups by then.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/24 11:33 PM

Well we are from a minority culture so if what you experience is more of the norm. I shouldn't say much cause it would be disrespectful, but you would be surprised by what's "good enough".
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/24 11:21 PM

Also, a guy friend from my childhood got married, and he was the first male one to go. He was a decent kid. Decent people are really going to start evaporating one by one very soon. I think he dated his wife for a very long time. My boyfriend's friends started to get married en masse last year also with their partners they've been together for years. The leftover market is getting very real now.

There apparently is a girl who hasn't found a stable partner cause she keeps going for bad boys.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/24 11:05 PM

It is not the same thing. You just don't have strong enough values yourself that you care a lot about. Voluntarily celibacy is rare for this reason. Voluntary celibacy is not valued enough by non religious people or people outside of sex negative cultures, and the ones nuts enough to be voluntarily celibate are usually also nuts enough to eliminate based on degeneracy. How often do you actually see voluntarily celibate women that are saving themselves for marriage? I believe the answer would be …
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/24 10:07 PM

Not that I am against coffee dates or for dinner dates, I think it could greatly depend on how well you know the person already. My first date with my boyfriend involved doing more things, cause we knew each other pretty well and hung out often enough on our own beforehand. It was just our first official date. I think people dismiss the getting to know phase and want to jump straight into doing relationship stuff nowadays and are very confused.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/24 08:56 PM
1

You are completely missing the point. It is not solely about attraction. Some people have stronger values to stick to their values than to go for whatever the hell they find attractive. And voluntary celibacy requires one to have really strong values that one would care enough to eliminate when the values don’t align enough. You seem to have no idea how dedicated one has to be to one’s values to stay voluntarily celibate. This is not about women finding virginity attractive in men, but chaste wo…

I keep talking about the leftover market and how if you don’t have a stable partner for a extended period of time, people of both genders with every level of desirability most often get jaded. Getting a sane relationship oriented person gets very difficult over time.

It doesn’t. We deem such values important enough to stay chaste, and would look for a guy with similar values. People don’t just chase attraction especially when you are taught to abstain and agree with it. You wait and restrain yourself until the right one comes along.

Not at all. It is usually a certain type of women that date outside of their culture. You are usually getting the degenerates of our culture.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/24 05:48 AM

I think they could get a better looking girl, but someone who is very loose with her sexuality more often than not.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/24 05:40 AM

I don't really care, but I think it is naive to think they'd be getting a conservative "good girl". Conservative people rarely date outside of their culture let alone a guy who they barely know anything about like his history or background.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/24 05:28 AM

I think it is silly to think that voluntarily chaste women would choose to be with hedonistic men however. It takes certain values to stay chaste as a woman in such culture. I respect my family's values, and I would not dare marry someone without my family's approval. The first and only guy that I thought was worthy of introducing to my family asked me what my dad looks for in my potential partner on our first date. Why can't you eat 4 eggs everyday? I eat 3+ eggs everyday.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 09:44 PM

I raised an eyebrow.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 09:29 PM

I honestly think the way your parents raised you is the right way. I was raised that way, and I will raise my kids that way.

I think you should look for decency. It is good to be mesmerized, but look for a woman who won't abuse it, and will try to reciprocate and care for you too. Choose someone who knows to be grateful, and will keep herself in check to keep feeling grateful. I remind myself of my boyfriend's exceptional qualities at times to keep appreciating him. It is very easy for humans to get complacent.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 03:14 AM

So he basically said my mom was the most beautiful woman in the world privately (she was really beautiful and still is to this day), always said the best decision he made in his life was to marry my mom very publicly, always cherished my mom without ever getting complacent, and his phone background was also my mom's photo. My mom was always the best treated wife in all our social groups.

I feel weird calling myself a Stacy, when I feel like I am just pretty enough. I think to keep a man engaged for decades, not in order to get a man, it is much better to have girl game. I have a mom who secured a very high status man and kept him mesmerized for life. I learned a lot from her.

high inhibition and extreme introversion. neuroticism can't help either.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/24 09:19 PM
2

Interesting that you say that. A lot of PPD men claim women don't have game or it doesn't matter for women, and that it is about how hot you are and sometimes even submissiveness. From experience, it seems to be about whether you can be THE girl that a guy can never forget, and it really is not about being the prettiest.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/24 09:05 PM
2

I keep saying that I am not the prettiest woman in the world. There was a prettier girl than me in school, but she wasn’t outgoing so she didn’t hang with the outgoing kids. We were friendly with each other though.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/24 08:06 PM

Nah. I was focused on having fun with my homies and doing our own stuff. A girl attempted to ostracize me, not the other way around.

/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 05:18 PM

And I think more people should stay sexless and/or single until the right one comes along. Whatever the right one means to you.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 05:07 PM

Idk. That’s the decision I made though. I also think premarital sex could be harmful in a sense that it could make people let their genitals run them more than their heads.

That I am aware of.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 03:26 AM

My point is that it is important to know how to train for what you want, and if it is looks, they can't just work out blindly. Anyway, Mike O'Hearn looks better than all of these models put together. We'd have to agree to disagree on this one.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 03:25 AM

Celebrity trainers do the same. What the ideal for each industry and what the person needs to achieve is different in every case, but I don’t think anyone is doing it blindly if they are trying to go for the looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 03:12 AM

I think that’s more applicable to female high fashion models.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 03:10 AM

Hence “if they care about the way they look”.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 03:06 AM

Hence “if they care about the way they look”.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 03:06 AM

I saw a guy on the elevator that was built too wide. People should really consider proportions more when working on their bodies if they care about the way they look. Modelling agencies hire trainers that know how to take the figure closer to the ideal, not just blindly train for a reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 03:02 AM

Think that's Asian ideal.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 02:57 AM

I think I made just as many mistakes as I did back in school. I tend to skip words or even whole phrases cause my mind races faster than I can write, and I am bad at controlling it unless I really focus.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 02:48 AM

Btw my boyfriend's mom sometimes gets weirded out by how formal I am with her. But it's exactly how I was raised and what my family's expectations are.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 02:38 AM

Yes. Maybe it is my family thing? Idk? But both my mom's family and my dad's family do it. So it could be cultural. Like I've said, we are quite old school.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 02:34 AM

You have no idea how many pages I had to throw out to not use white out.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 02:31 AM

No no. I wrote a handwritten letter to his mom. My mom wrote a handwritten letter to him. His mom did respond to me by writing a nice letter in digital form due to her having to travel the next day.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 02:29 AM

My family is quite old school.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 02:24 AM

I forgot to add. It also signals respect most of the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 02:19 AM

Now that I think about the content of the letters, I think when we want to be seen genuine and have something to say, want to show that we care (about them), we tend to write letters. It might be my family thing or a cultural thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 02:10 AM

I am not sure. My mom's side grandpa still has a letter that my dad wrote him. I have hand written letters I got from my dad's side grandpa and my dad.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 02:07 AM

I wrote my boyfriend's mom a handwritten 4 page letter when we first met. My boyfriend got one from my mom.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 02:01 AM

We need to take social media and stuff away from the kids and throw them out of the house so they'd learn how to be normal humans.

My community back home isn't nearly as big, but I still am very proud to be a member of my family and believe in keeping my family's legacy. I think legacy is not just about celebrating the family's societal success or status, but passing on the right family values and what we have learned as a family. My mom's siblings took turns to keep my mom company at night, gave her a guest room to stay in indefinitely, and her youngest brother called after work on his way back home every single day for mo…

I think depending on my actions/karma, either me or my loved ones would pay the price regardless of my own afterlife. I am not really talking about supernatural stuff. Family members of the people who did good deeds often got taken care of much better by the society.

You gotta be tall and built to make that ogre face work. It looks extremely off on regular builds. The faces that usually are more popular among women are not just ogre looking, but has a pretty and/or pleasing aspect. I am not saying this to virtue signal, but lookspill in the direction that would appeal to more people and work better for more people. I have standing job offers from styling related industries.

I come from a conservative household, and the trad wife thing is fine if people understand how and why it can go wrong and how it is supposed to work. Trad is not about mere gender roles. It is about having to rely on others to fulfill one’s roles. It is not about what they are getting out of the deal — this is what I see too often in trad wannabes. For example, my mom quit her corporate job for the family, and my dad said that in a case of divorce, she gets half. My dad took on the role of the …

I think Chinese actresses could be more striking and Korean actresses could be more natural to look at in a way. The general Chinese makeup style also focuses on really getting to the maximum, while the general Korean makeup style on actresses aim to be more natural.

She is lucky she lives in the States.

What looks good on camera is a bit different. You look fatter on camera, so you need to lose more weight than how you would like to appear irl.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 06:05 AM

Some of us are born with very low bone mass. Our frame size can be very different.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 05:26 AM

I just looked up to her, and knew I would never be her. So many people admired her beauty. It is not just about competing in the same dating pool. Hearing "she must have taken after her dad" when I was younger sank my heart. I did take after my mom quite a bit eventually though thankfully. And it isn't just me. My cousin had it real bad. Her mom is the most gorgeous person I have seen alive who modeled when younger, and she constantly got compared to her mom, and even heard things like "What a s…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 12:38 AM

Meh. They can say whatever they want to make themselves feel better. Growing up with a prettier mom is what made me insecure in the past, not some internet strangers. It is like having a prettier sister, but it is your mom. Non-family members are more generous towards my looks than my own family, and it has always been that way.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/24 11:32 PM

I land safely within the top 5% facially without makeup. I don't know what 8.5 is, but by the sounds of it on Reddit, probably not? I do have family members who modelled in Asia for being conventionally beautiful, but I don't look as good as them. I think Reddit would more likely call them 8.5+. But really, those family members are not people most people come across easily. If you think about it, top 5% is rather common and definitely someone you would see in the wild, just not that attainable a…

Like I keep telling you, the Kpop girls you like are well below 17 BMI.

I dealt with it by finding a good hairdresser.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/24 09:59 PM

Not everyone gets to the point of dealing with baggage. You must see it very often being here. And I do think people of both genders if they are not in stable LTRs get jaded over time, sexually successful or not.

the ones who they respect Oftentimes, yes. are their optimum match What do you mean by this? A lot more men than you think just shoot their shots or Stacy-chase. I don't think men are very good at estimating the amount of interest desirable women get or the quality of the men they get it from. They not just overestimate their own attractiveness, but I've also seen a guy underestimate himself. I am not talking about hookup culture btw.

I would just appreciate it if it is a professional setting, just keep things professional. At least in personal settings, individuals could decide to interact with one or not. Like there's assumptions of incompetence or expectations of femininity that come with being a woman, as I am sure men have the opposite problems. The old school liberal idea was to treat everyone not by the color of one's skin (or gender), but as an individual without prejudices. I am all in favor of meritocracy and perfor…

Vetting is about the negatives while tastes are about both positives and negatives. I think it is important to note that mating for women is an elimination process.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/24 07:56 PM

I think women should instinctively care more about vetting than men do, and they have to for evolutionary reasons. It could come with having to vet and select.

Maybe it is perceived as someone already did the vetting like how employers prefer candidates with prior experience and references.

Well yeah, the good looking ones would be going for younger doctors. To get desirable young women, men would really need to be extreme outliers.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/24 07:44 AM

The extremely desirable much older men are probably able to get with those small percentage of women who like much older men. It is just silly when the redpillers claim that vast majority of women would be into much older men. The extremely desirable older men are still getting the young women, and they probably are happy, but their pool is not everyone.

/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 08:35 PM

Pattern means shapes of the little pieces of fabric that make up a clothing item. Us normies probably would never see clothes from the pattern aspect. But in terms of completed clothing, one thing I found was that pants should be loose enough that it doesn't show the outline of your legs at all so to our eyes, it should go down straight and smooth and elongate the legs, but just tight enough to appear longer. It is very different from dressing as a petite woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 08:33 PM
1

I too have been in a LDR, and my boyfriend and I haven't even worried for a second that someone would cheat. After being on PPD, I think the bare minimum for a marriage should be you being able to trust the other person in a hypothetical LDR. If you don't have such trust in the other person, don't make your vows to them.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 07:52 PM

Nah, beautiful women can always get a husband. But the more desirable you are, the better vetting skills you need, cause a lot of people will act like they will give you the world until they secure you and get complacent.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 07:46 PM

I think it depends on the amount of buccal fat that you have when it is considered your prime. If he can look pretty without the buccal fat, there is a much higher chance he will age pretty. There's some androgynous looking Asian dudes in their 40's who are still good looking, and what I've noticed was the difference in the amount of facial fat.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 07:25 PM
1

Clothes can do a lot for a person. I hope you have found the right pants for yourself too. I was surprised by how much pants mess with our eyes when it comes to proportions on guys recently. With women, it is often low-rise vs. high-waisted, but in men's fashion, the difference in pattern is so slight but the effect is so great that it is like a work of art.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 07:12 PM
3

There is very little room for error in features when it comes to a good androgynous face. Even in looksmaxxing, it is more realistic to go for the masculine look for most guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 06:45 PM
1

I am actually a masculine woman and I have been preferred over feminine ladies quite a lot by guys with options, so it was speaking from experience a bit. The easiest way to tell could be to find one girl in a group of guys. It is usually unlikely for just one guy to bring his girlfriend along, so there is a good chance that she is a bro-worthy gal already accepted by the bros. The more natural way of going about this is having a large enough random sample like a high school and then observe and…

If that’s your preference, you will not only be looking for a unicorn, but will have even worse competition to get that unicorn. A lot of men here think feminine women would be hardest to get, but I actually think the competition to get the masculine one is much worse due to the rarity aspect. I would say the competition could be about twice as hard as it would be normally. I don’t mean a boss bitch, but a bro-worthy gal. A lot of desirable men opt for such women too.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 08:26 AM

Well you were very pretty in your prime. Stacies stay desirable for very long it seems. I know a few in their 50’s.

/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 02:16 AM

Well I know you are a psych student and you must read papers. There could be research on such topic. How common is wanting to drop one's panties for a hot guy spontaneously among women?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/24 11:37 PM
2

Idk. I like to think that we are the normal ones but maybe not? I have no idea. What do the papers you read say?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/24 11:27 PM

Pretty and good looking are not the same descriptors. The pretty boy aesthetic requires very specific features that all tie in together and I think is way more unrealistic in a way. Good looking handsome faces are of course in demand, but pretty boys do quite well too.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/24 10:20 PM
1

You bring up a good point actually. If faces are too long, that face shape deducts from femininity/"pretty". Shorter to normal length face is often considered cute and feminine, and normal to longer length face is often considered more masculine. I guess softer (not chiseled as much) and proportional in terms of length makes what I would consider to be a pretty face on guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/24 10:08 PM
1

Cha Eun Woo doesn't look like a woman. Asian men have different facial features than white men. I think white men often think Asian men look feminine when they look plenty masculine to us. We have weaker brow bone and just a flatter face in general. That Dokyeum guy is just wearing heavy makeup and a lot of it is his styling. I'd say he leans masculine. Jeonghan in the same group was marketed as the pretty boy when they just debuted.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/24 09:53 PM

I actually think that one is more masculine looking, but was made to look more feminine to fit the Kpop aesthetic. He is not that pretty looking, but he certainly is a good looking Asian dude.

I don't think it is just high school. My mom and my aunt still have their orbiters from their 20's. But I guess they went to single gender schools, so their crush in their 20's is kinda like high school crush.

My celebrity crush was Hayato Sumino, but not really for his looks. The only white guy I had a little crush on for his looks was young Jesse McCartney. I am Asian and my favorite celebrity lookswise is Cha Eun Woo, but I wouldn't dare date someone who looks like that. I think my looks preference is someone who would look pretty crying. That's difficult to achieve.

I see. I am not sure about new Pokemon, but older Pokemon was designed for the Japanese kids who had their parents working all the time, and could bond with their Pokemon friends and go on their own journey or something. It is supposed to have more positive effects for the kids. Something I learned while studying Japanese culture.

I think the classic definition of femininity is often too passive and not imposing on others for it to be defined as toxic. However, there are common female actions like passive aggressiveness that I strongly dislike, giving hints without talking directly which annoys me, talking behind people's backs cause they want to appear nice, and not wanting differing opinions are annoying. I guess these come from wanting to be passive though. It is not that men don't engage in such things, it is just mor…

Depends. When it comes to preferences in looks, I don't think it shifts much. I've seen too many rich ladies in Asia fawning over young good looking guys. It is just that women often desire commitment and a relationship/connection, that they go for men their age. Women of all ages are attracted to masculinity in general, but naive women are generally bad at determining actual strength vs. a pretty act. I think even Buss said it is about not being able to tell the difference between what's real a…

You should look into who actually have a billion dollars, let alone 100B+. You have included severe outliers in your scale to begin with. 6 cannot be a big law associate or an ibanker. They are nowhere near the average people if we are to consider 4-6 to be around the average. The vast majority of people do not have access to weird outliers like billionaires, and dating leagues for people who interact with others outside highly depend on who they realistically have access to.

/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 06:26 PM

Well, AutomaticMeaning said he likes Kpop girls. Those girls are well under 17 BMI. You need very small frames naturally to have such figure though. I think it is more about bone mass at this point. I too have slightly below 17 BMI, but my boob size is actually above average for an East Asian (still not big at all, just not flat).
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 05:16 AM

This is totally me pulling things out of my ass, but if you do not like muscular guys, the max height a guy can be usually is around 5'11 without looking like a literal stick. But the easier explanation could be that Asian men tend to be shorter, and you did express that you've always been into Asian men. 6' Asian guys are very out of the ordinary in our generation.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 02:49 AM
4

You might think that, but your attraction may work differently. If I compile all the guys that I have been into, the minimum height has been 5'7". It was never a set height requirement, but just who I found to be attractive.

Asian women who date white men are considered unsuitable for the Asian marriage market. They basically are not considered “good girls” and they are undesirable. We have a derogatory term for them too. Even the women who used a working holiday visa are considered to be promiscuous whores very often.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/24 10:49 PM

Not in Asian marriage market. 35 is the male wall to get desirable women. He can still get less desirable women if he is successful. 30 is the female wall successful or unsuccessful.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/24 10:38 PM

Female wall and male wall both exist according to matchmaking services. However, the obsession with plastic surgery isn't all about the wall. It is due to women's value being primarily linked to their appearance.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/24 10:28 PM

Americans are pretty much the fattest and American airlines are the safest apparently.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/24 10:24 PM

No, it is because the only thing that women can change to increase their value is pretty much their appearance wall or no wall. Rhinoplasty and boob jobs are done to women of all ages, and Asians often get something done to their eyes even if they are young.

It CAN happen, but it isn't like I became best friends and fell in love. It is more like there was this incident that made me fall for him. It is more about suddenly observing something attractive about the person. It happened to me twice, and they were my strongest cases of attraction.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/24 04:25 PM

Confirmation bias. He mainly interacts with women who engages in such behavior ON A PARTY ISLAND. People who get drunk are very often degenerates. I am genuinely a very caring person that just loves to take of people, but I am scared that I am going to look “too excited” and in general be perceived as someone who is trying too hard. Keep being that way and look for reciprocation. The guy who appreciates you will try to look for ways to make you feel appreciated as well. I am actually against women wanting men to pay, partly because it makes treating you too easy. Don't get excited over what people do for you with money, and pay for things …

My most unrealistic standards are character traits I was looking for in a partner. I met about one guy a year who had all of them. When I said them all to my mom, my mom said that’s unrealistic, and when I introduced my bf to my mom, my mom liked him in less than two hours, saying she can tell. I believe I meet these character traits myself. I also want him to embody Christian virtues. I try as well. I usually try to find someone who I think is a better person than me. I too found a virgin guy somehow, but my criteria was someone who never had sex outside of a very serious relationship and would wait to have sex until marriage with me. I don't believe my personal pleasure is more important than what I consider to be the moral grey area, and that it is possible to have restraint. My parents were virgins when they got married.

My dad said the guy has to learn our language to marry me actually. I also prefer to date within my culture but I have dated non-Asian Christians. My dad was a devout Christian himself, so what non-Asian Christians learned and what I learned were somewhat similar. But after my father's passing, I realized I am so much more Asian than I thought I was to the point that westerners probably would have a harder time understanding, so I decided to just stick to Asians.

The more monogamous and anti-hookup culture the society is, the easier it is to realize your mate value cause it is basically just LTR market. LTR market forces the market to even out for the general participants. It sounds like you don’t have access to the market, but that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/24 06:41 AM

If you mean Asia, that’s inflated value cause Asia has eurocentric beauty standards and westerners have the advantage of being able to earn more in the west and have ridiculous purchasing power in more developing countries. It is like mid-in-Asia Asian women’s value getting inflated, cause westerners have different beauty standards. That’s not their normal mate value. As an Asian who knows Asian beauty standards, the most mismatched couples I see are interracial couples.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/24 06:22 AM

And what you have to settle for is your mate value. Whoever says otherwise is not accepting that it is a market in the first place. A person is not better than what the market tells the person.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/24 05:59 AM

Mate value is determined who the person can get. You thinking someone is a 4 doesn't make the person a 4 if the person can get 6's to commit. The market dictates one's value, cause both men and women look for what's the best for them. In LTR market, it evens out.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/24 05:36 AM

SMV and RMV are different. The women who use SMV instead of their RMV are only temporary placeholders. The sexual marketplace with its mate value only exists because people do have to stay in their lanes in general. And yes, your mate value is who you can realistically attract. What you are describing is the hookup culture.

To me, it is about only wanting women to uphold the social contract, when realistically for women to be chastite, it requires both men and women to abstain. I disagree with shipping my money off to Ukraine and Israel as well. she and her partner have paid into the system for I believe she is getting a lot more than she paid for cause she is receiving welfare, and according to her, she isn't being supported by her partner so her words are inconsistent. We all pay tax, but only certain people get welfare. People who do not receive welfare are supporting those who do.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 08:28 PM

I am not in your wallet. I am sure you are cause I receive 0 social welfare, and conveniently this time, you talk about how your partner is also taxed when you claimed earlier that he doesn't support you financially. :) And no, people who are against (excessive) welfare are the ones who hate the big government, not you who is trying to milk the system.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 07:45 PM

legality ≠ immorality MY taxes are higher along with many other's. I have no interest in paying for your kid or your lifestyle. I feel this is far beyond what I have paid into this system for. That's how everyone feels apparently, but I doubt it if you only work part time.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 07:19 PM

Sure, you are doing what makes sense to you, but you are still taking tax money that you theoretically shouldn't be getting if you are just holding off on marrying your partner just for the welfare benefits and are getting financially supported by a guy. It is immoral to take advantage of the system when other innocent people are paying the price for your decisions.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 07:10 PM

Men actually treat women differently depending on how high value he deems her. If her value to him is just sex and not much else, he would try to hit that ASAP hence pump and dump. The women he deems worth waiting for, he would wait and not push and drop her fast.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 05:21 PM

Seeking to marry virgins is not realistic at all these days. Virginity in men was emphasized basically as a testament of one's values, discipline and his attitude towards the social contract. With an absence of those things, virginity doesn't mean much. I somehow found a virgin man who has all those things, but the realistic best you can hope for is someone who has only had sex within serious relationships and would wait for you.

I think most guys know what is desired superficially, but what they think of that or how they deal with that can differ. There is a wide range of what they think is needed to be successful with women. Some are also more relationship oriented than others.

Well I had enough fond memories of him to want to give it a chance, but it wasn’t like I didn’t date anyone else in between. He was using my name as his password for a decade and never liked or kissed anyone else.

My mom told my boyfriend to start working out too. Lmao

I would not pass. Think that would be extremely rare.

Yeah. But getting a second opinion of someone you can trust can really help. My mom was in fashion and she comments on my boyfriend’s fashion too. I do think knowing the classic styles you look good in is a real good start. My boyfriend essentially has only the basic items shopping finished.

That method is less reliable anyway cause enough people have shit taste and could throw you off and you probably don’t have that many varied items to begin with.

Female. High school. Then reunited when I was back on Facebook for a week. After a while, I could tell that he still had feelings for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 10:45 AM

Well there are a lot of designs out there. Lol You could also compile the info on things people have complimented you on or get a friend who could potentially know how to do this to help you out.

There are t-shirt + jeans guys, but hire a stylist if you really care. Depending on your features, you will have to avoid some colors, know what kind of fabric patterns you should choose (small/big/or none at all), the stiffness of the fabric, types of clothing that look good on you, and etc.

I think it is about whether a woman prefers masculine traits or not. Asian culture thinks of masculinity to actually include extroversion. I am a rare breed of uber masculine woman who actually doesn’t prefer a masculine partner.

We both look alright. Like we would have way more competition in Asia where there's a lot more Asians, but in the West, it is difficult to find Asians as good looking as us. We both have family members who were/are models/actors in Asia. Those relatives of course look better than us though.

Yes. He got lucky (maybe) that he got his first and only pick. It is insane to be THAT picky and still get what you want.

Eh a bit of both? It is very out of the ordinary cause he doesn’t believe in dating casually to see how things go. I was the only one he could see a future with ever apparently, and that’s the bare minimum for him to want to date someone (i called him weird in your place already). Whereas I dated around a lot more.

My boyfriend was using my name as his password for a decade. He never kissed anyone else either. His mom also flew him out to my city in the hopes of seeing me, but he never contacted me when he came. We went out briefly in high school then reunited a decade later.

People claim both extroverted and introverted women like extroverted men, but as an extroverted woman, I don’t really have a preference. My boyfriend is introverted.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 07:30 PM

If it was a point apart, sure. Not whole 3 points. Lol and you don’t even need to go down that far to optimize non-superficial traits.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
