lol for sure. I've been declining dates now if the logistics aren't good or if I see signs of disrespect/low interest. Before I would've just been happy for the opportunity. Called off a date w/a girl who was one of my perfect types (brunette, 5' 8'' leggy) the other day after she all of a sudden wanted me to meet in her neighborhood because she had a class to go to later in the evening. As a guy who's booked several dates in a night I knew exactly what she was doing lol.

Exact same situation dude. Didn't lose my virginity til 27, and it wasn't til 28 where I really starting hitting it hard. Went on some 100 dates last year with plenty of lays. Many of my friends are settling down and I just turned 30. Now I'm more focused on refining my options. I think I'll be happy with a steady rotation of 2-3 girls, with maybe a date and a nightgame session/week to explore new plates and keep myself loose and social.

Well, certainly over 100 in the past year and a half. I'm a late bloomer making up for lost time haha. Have toned it down in the past few months. 2 girls in the rotation and maybe a new date or two a week.

Good no nonsense post. I've been using Tinder and Hinge for about 2 years and have gone on hundreds of dates. It's game on easy mode once you get your photos and text game sorted.

So many issues already in just these few short paragraphs. Besides what's been mentioned, another misconception you have about women is illustrated in "confronted her and pretty much asked her why couldn't answer my 2 phone calls and she came up with a lame excuse I forget what it was and dropped it cuz some women aren't worth stressing too much over at the young age of 22" You're being dishonest with yourself because you ARE indeed stressing over this one woman at the young age of 22 lol. Never had this experience and I'm a year older than you. Dating as low as 20 and as high as 33 at present. In fact, the youngins seem even more willing now that I'm on the cusp of 30.

Great writing dude. I've experienced some bad dates too as a result of not sticking with the plan and choosing the venue etc. Gotta disagree with you about L.A. though. Been out here since undergrad and have found plenty of smart women. I guess I'm lucky to already have my social circle from my college network etc, but my online profile really reels them in too. Why are you using OK Cupid? Hinge and Bumble is where it's at for these types of women. Average about 2-3 dates/wk with mostly cool chi…

In addition to what's been said, beware of the leads that start out one way (sexy texting, big anticipation, your house or her house for the Day 2) but then suddenly veer off in another direction because of a last minute shit test on her part. Sure, she's allowed to have some trepidation about going over to a stranger's house, but that doesn't mean you have to fold like a cheap suit and do a date totally on her terms (a bar on her turf with dudes she knows). As I've gotten more skilled, I've lea…

What better way of assuring a girl you'll be discrete, normal, and non-judgmental if your relationship progresses to sex by blabbing about your female roommate's sexual exploits. It also implies on some level that you're probably not getting much sex either. You see how you messed up, right ?

Other people have hinted at it, but the real issue here is that you're skipping topics. Sure you were very nice and pleasant in your texting and in the future maybe you can add more edge, but the girl seemed game nonetheless. But once you guys got to the cook off topic, you should have dug deeper, made it about you and her, and asked her to do that very activity. Instead, you strangely moved on to yet another topic and yet another barrage of errant and directionless questions. In the future, pin…

Flaking with rescheduling is hopeful, but I wouldn't have responded to the second flake the same way I responded to the first. The second time I either wouldn't have responded to see if she double texted/explained further why she couldn't make it, or even expressed a negative emotion: "eh no worries lol." (I have better ones but I don't want to give them away).

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
