Whole food/plant based/oil free vegans really don't. There's multiple studies that indicate lifestyle trumps genetics, check out "What The Health" or "Forks Over Knives" if you can. Animal products and not wearing sunscreen will age you. Genetics have been blamed forever because parents will generally raise their kids to eat as terribly and be as lazy as they are. I've seen people I've ~brainwashed~ about this reverse at least a decade off their appearance and not a single person ever thinks I'm…

Thoughtful response. I think isolation is a huge part of it, you can see this demonstrably happening in places where divides between genders and "otherism" are more enforced. I try to have patience with misguided people that think men and women are a totally different species.. However, a lot of people on Blue Pill will straight up say they have no responsibility to help or give advice to those poor unfortunate souls that end up in certain dark places on reddit. It is frustrating and tempting to…

Lifestyle is such a huge factor. I've met men who I would never assume were in their 40s because they take better care of their minds and bodies than pissjuggers in their 20s, same goes for women obviously. It's such an individual thing with so many variables. I'm regarding "studies" like this less and less and it's starting to seem like people who obsess about this stuff are terrified of their own mortality or something.

I think it's just the difference between people that have had life, friendship and dating experience and those who haven't. It's also the difference between being self aware enough to change behaviour based on that to improve your life instead of wallowing in self pity and bitterness. I can't imagine blindly following advice that dictates two genders must exist in two very boring and narrow roles.

Women are more likely to be planning their wedding and thinking about marriage before they even become sexually active. Women are on a shorter time frame biologically and have to hurry the fuck up and have babies. Anecdotal, but young girls aren't really taught to think of weddings as the highlight of our adult lives anymore. It seems like an outdated form of social conditioning to me. My youngest cousin is 21 and it's not even on her radar in spite of the fact that she's conventionally beautifu…

I'm glad to hear that. It's not something I love telling people about but I think they should be aware it does happen. Also some advice if you ever find yourself being arrested on false charges... They used the fact that I shut up and asked for a lawyer after I was arrested as proof of guilt and I guess that happens a lot. Apparently it's better to categorically deny the allegations from the beginning.

Don't you think my anecdote about having been arrested for domestic violence as a woman was pretty relevant here?

I used to think it only happened to men too though. I thought I was incredibly unlucky or dating someone unusually vindictive. A court clerk hooked me up with a legal organization for women who deal with cases like mine. They told me this happens all the time and that my case is in no way unusual. She basically said during our meeting that I could call the police right then, say she punched me in the face and she would end up in my position even without physical marks or evidence. I also had to …

Hi, I hate having to reminisce about this, but feel like it's my responsibility because I'm always reading that "women are never arrested for DV". I dated someone who sneakily called the police during a break up after a verbal argument while I was moving my stuff out. He hid my phone and bank card so I'd stick around looking for them til the cops showed up. They separate you from your partner to get testimonies so as I was outside trying to deescalate the situation, he was inside lying to have m…

Women who work on improving their bodies, make lots of money, display cuntiness passing for "confidence", acting dominant (i.e. like a ballbusting bitch), and nexting any guy who has any flaw whatsoever, usually end up as Career Girl Carrie Bradshaws This was fine though because it's technically about any woman? How will that work for women? Women who work on improving their bodies, make lots of money, display cuntiness passing for "confidence", acting dominant (i.e. like a ballbusting bitch), and nexting any guy who has any flaw whatsoever, usually end up as Career Girl Carrie Bradshaws, letting an endless stream of attractive men pump and dump them. Or, they end up with shitty, low value, submissive, unattractive men. Then they end up in a dead bedroom, and they're either miserable or divorced. Does t…

There's certain conventional standards of beauty that are achieved by means that are ultimately good for you (exercise/healthy diet) so to me that's harmless advice. When someone starts making permanent alterations surgically it becomes a pretty personal decision. Also what you're saying gives me Twilight Zone feelings and I think we should try not to head in that direction as a society.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/17 02:08 AM
2

Yes, that's totally fine. Quoting "authenticity" like I have it framed on my wall or something, I see you girl. I support anyone who chooses to have cosmetic surgery, I don't agree with suggesting it as dating advice.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/17 01:46 AM

Sure, sometimes that's helpful to improve social skills and become more confident. IIRC there were some savage parts in the book about cosmetic surgery and lots of manipulative bait and switch tactics that seemed fucked up to me.

Come on, you know very fucking well RP uses AWALT to explain why women are all inherently bad people and shouldn't be trusted. Look into any RP post about an unfair divorce ruling or a woman making a false rape allegation. They think it's only a matter of time and opportunity preventing every woman from doing these things.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/17 10:44 PM
2

That's the opposite of what AWALT is saying. It's pointing out a specific implication about "all women". If it were about anyone's capacity to be shitty, it would be "APALT" and not even mentioned.

Now we're back to the purpose of my post. If an average/plain looking woman used TRP (gender pronouns interchangeable) would she be successful in securing a Chad who was previously uninterested? Simple question.

RPW is kind of like a failed Stepford Wives experiment, they struggle to remain submissive which is the opposite of what RP aims to teach men. Although I would love if there were more RPW participating in this sub, they're fascinating creatures.

If a woman can't get men its because she is either literally deformed or otherwise severely handicapped, or land whale levels of obese. We'd have to assume the woman is trying to date way out of her league. RP wouldn't exist if its followers were more realistic about their dating options. If she follows RP advice (including getting in shape), would it be Red Pill's success, or simply that she's getting laid by hotter guys because she's now more attractive? Think about this.

They make it sound like all women are born with some weird knowledge that automatically activates when they turn 15 or something... Yep and that's why most of these responses don't answer my question. I'm asking what would happen if a low SMV woman followed TRP and getting AWALT.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/17 06:37 PM
2

Yeah I'm good, I just thought your response was oddly finite considering we both know there's no such thing as AWALT. Example, my goal if I were dating would be to find a great FWB not LTR. Now let's imagine I'm really terrible with people, overweight/terrible style, a pushover, etc etc. Would the sidebar advice be helpful to me?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/17 06:19 PM

Are you seriously having that much trouble suspending your disbelief in this scenario? It would theoretically be a woman using AMALT/Amused mastery/Shit tests on men, not that crazy.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/17 05:57 PM

There is no "women play book" and not all women are hot. My question is whether the female equivilant to your average RPer would be successful with men, using RP advice.

Sorry, this is a case of actual projection on my part (usually accused of this by RP). I agree, when I think about it, RP are probably more likely to trust the motivations of someone with a degree. The rest of us only want to advance the SJW-tumblrina agenda.

It's pretty hilarious to me that women jogging for 30 minutes while listening to music and YOGA is compared to lifting lol. Give me a break. I do both of those in addition to lifting hard When women are apprehensive about weight training it's usually because they believe it will add "bulk", but you're framing this like they're weak or lazy. What I would really love is a society where the norm with a partner that has a low libido is that they allow the other partner to get sex elsewhere. It might be wise to reevaluate the relationship if you find yourself fantasizing about alternate realities.

First of all, you contradicted yourself. On one hand you're saying "you're assuming the woman hasn't said something legitimate", on the other hand you're saying "you're not talking about how he'd react if a woman made a joke at his expense". Me: We're talking about how a typical RP man would theoretically react if a woman made a joke at his expense. You misread, it happens. Again, that logic doesn't make sense. Yes it is, I gave you main behavior that RP men do that's not serious, which refutes your point that they're too serious. About themselves. You listed examples of how they're able to shrug off "shit tests", women being illogical, etc. That's assuming the woman hasn't said something legitimate and is not what we're discussing. TRP tells men to be dismissive towards shit tests, and not let them get to him. When women are overly nitpicky with something or say illogical shit, it's better to laugh it off. This isn't what we are discussing. Women who are aware of game are some of the unhappiest, because they find a hard time even being attracted to naturals that they'd normally be attracted to, because they start questioning whether any of his behaviors could be construed as game. Being aware that game is being used on a woman turns her off, because she knows the guy isn't "natural", that phenomenon is nothing new since women's brains always look for extra credit reasons and fine prints to not want men. No one has to search hard for these reason and the fint print are actually giant, red letters. ITT RP are using "amused mastery" and "agree and amplify" even though both terms are actually used to describe mostly arrogant behaviour (the opposite of humility). It's the same way evangelicals find relevance by reinterpreting passages to solve their current dilemmas at bible study. A crucial part of RP is being perceived as respected by those around you. I'm saying this inevitably leads RP men to become more threatened by criticism or "ballbusting" than a well adjusted non-RP man.

It's of no consequence to me, just bizarre.. but why are you downvoting all of my replies to you? Not exactly motivating me to engage in a debate with you. TRP is just the latest repackaging of outdated pickup advice that I disagree with because it's generalizations about women are never consistent with reality. If you guys started a brand new club referencing a totally different sci-fi movie, it would still end up filled with the same counteractive advice and useless stereotyping.

I think 'amused mastery' disgusts you if it's phony or put-on (like a mask). I don't see the difference between putting on a mask and wearing it until your face grows over it. I don't think how RP defines "amused mastery" applies to this scenario. You're not really "laughing at yourself", but imagining you're better than everyone so their opinion doesn't matter. I think ultimately, it's about whether you're comfortable enough with yourself and women to laugh along with one who is playfully calling you out about something. About the smug thing, I used to have resting bitch face and now I don't. You have to be conscious of the message you're sending with your body language and eventually it will come naturally. Yes, I know very well what amused mastery is and why it's the absolute worst. I'm saying RP men also use it as a defense mechanism when they fuck up. Smug face, not stone face. That is not showing humility which part of "laughing" at yourself.

Of course "Having standards is a good thing" that has nothing to do with eliminating a huge portion of the dating market based on nothing but generalizations. I think a part of the problem is that some men walk around assuming the women they pass who don't look completely trashed must be in their 20's. How old are you? This would be less weird if you're in your teens or something.

But this is only a subset of the "unattractive men" group. There are plenty of men women won't sleep with under normal circumstances, but will sleep with under special circumstances. This post and the comment you replied to are about how women feel receiving attention from men they do not find attractive. A man who is an undeniable piece of shit, but attractive to women will always find someone to have sex with. Both genders have this advantage, this should be obvious. edit: word

Yeah, it is. Women aren't immune to dragging some guy out of a bar at 3:00 AM and regretting it in the morning; hell, they'll marry guys they aren't really attracted to if they convince themselves they need to settle. There's a difference between regretting hooking up with someone who isn't your type and the revulsion women feel around creepy men they aren't attracted to. There are certain men women will not sleep with even under the influence, unless you're describing a date rape scenario.

"Dating (or sleeping with) multiple women"? If you don't view women as people, I can see how that 3 seconds of effort might feel arduous.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/17 07:34 PM
1

Nope, but I have zero patience for dehumanizing bullshit. I said "refer" to women as plates. What would you call it, poetic symbolism? More like being it, there is nothing to conceal. Congrats on advancing to OT III or whatever that degree of brainwashing is called in your cult.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/17 07:27 PM

A man who disrespects women by referring to them as "plates" and seeks out one night stands on a regular basis is not having sex with me, or any of the women I associate myself with. I guess your point is that men who have been conditioned by RP for longer are better at concealing it? Sorry, I'll still figure it out.

Luckily for me, I don't shape my reasoning behind what "the average redditor" would think of it. That would be a miserable fucking existence. We're getting nowhere here, so enjoy your willful ignorance about women. Really fun arguing against experience and perspective being useless because some random guys said that somewhere on reddit. Night night!

In the context of this sub there are clearly two sides. Users even have tags identifying themselves. Those who don't, refer to themselves as "No Pill". RP is rooted in sexism. The existence of satire sub TBP is to mock that sexism. Your example of a group of sexist guys was not relevant to your point... The fact that we have no idea if they're RP or not being the most obvious flaw here.

That's not what's happening. It's Purple Pill's Word of Everyday and you started getting itchy because you hadn't utilized it in the last 20 minutes. You told me BP men don't care about women's perspective when it comes to their own likes and interests. I asked you to prove it. You presented a bunch of guys who definitely probably don't identify as BP. !Strawman!

I listed traits RP encourages and you concluded he sounded like an awkward loser. Congrats, you're Blue Pill! Outside of your other ridiculous strawman, thats not even unique to RP. Who said he was an awkward loser? That's very BP of you to assume that. Something to consider... I've had similar conversations on reddit and not once has an RP guy asked my opinion to better understand women when I've pointed out the flaws in RP's toxic ideology. They've only ever doubled down and assumed the real life RPer wasn't executing the terrible advice well enough. RP and its followers believe that women are so stupid, untrustworthy and incapable of introspection that their perspective …

Have you considered that the original point of this exchange is that RP tactics demonstrably fail on their target demographic all the time? AWALT failed. As an actual target of RP, who has experienced it, my only thought was "What is wrong with this person". "Flirt at every opportunity" i.e: lower standards/ignore better judgment and flirt with women who have obvious problems or nothing in common with you. Oh wait, n/m, according to RP field reports they only encounter HB8-10's. Speaking of field reports, I've laughed at many and I've yet to see a single instance of an encounter that didn't appear forced or like a monologue with interchangeable nouns and verbs. Super duper, a pushy cult member with questionable standards using canned rhetoric on every woman he meets. Sounds like a real winner. Why 10 women? Why not live your life with an open attitude and practice conversation skills with the people (men or women) you naturally encounter, become at ease in any conversation? RP men always seem to completely miss the big picture. I doubt most of them are capable of enjoying any experience without a designated "end game" smh

No. I'm none of those things and I think it's complete garbage. I can immediately tell if someone is following pick up theory because it's fucking obvious. I (like many women) like men who are authentic and have a skill/hobby/interest/talent they're passionate about. The only helpful facet of RP (that is not exclusive to RP) is self improvement.

We're discussing a shift of power from one group (white men) having all to other groups (women/minorities) having some. Of course replacing "white men" with marginalized groups of people sounds worse and that's because it is. Those groups haven't been overwhelmingly responsible for the institutional oppression of white men for hundreds (or LBR, thousands) of years. You can't possibly be denying that the majority of the alt-right movement are white men. This is not just perceptible. The author of the article is speculating why some white men feel the way they do, not referring to them as inherently "bad".

Men as a group do work longer hours. Aside from the argument I've already made that there's no definitive data to prove this, there's plenty of evidence that working longer hours decreases productivity. Are you kidding me? You corrected me when I assumed you were referring to only feminists, and that you meant "women". How else am I to perceive that when I had originally assumed it meant a specific group in the first place? I am specifically discussing my issue with Trump supporters, you have used the term "women". I am not being obtuse here. Way to derail the topic.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/16 11:28 PM
1

Hot damn a list of baseless assumptions made by sexist men before civil rights became a thing. We've discussed the fallacy that all men work longer hours than all women. Maternity/paternity leave should be equally allocated. Both should (technically) be able to file false harassment suits if that's your thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/16 11:08 PM

Your response comes off very "Get out of my room, mom!".
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/16 10:58 PM

1, I said women not feminists. I thought I would use feminists as an example considering they would be the ones theoretically craving power, no? In that case, lots of women support Trump who admittedly represents a loss of power to them considering he's anti-choice. I find it strange that you're comfortable with generalizing that all women are wholly motivated by some kind of secondhand power trip, yet you consider it completely unfathomable that Trump supporters idolize his lifestyle.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/16 10:54 PM

Shaky statistics. There is no unanimous agreement that any of what you're saying is true for either gender. These studies are so varied that half will show women have demonstrated more of these qualities. I believe hiring a candidate or determining their salary should be assessed at an individual level based on their suitability and qualifications. Explain to me why I'm wrong about this.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/16 10:27 PM
1

You understand these measures were only created to pry open the doors for qualified women and minorities, right? When underqualified white men were always hired instead of them? The collective goal is that companies won't need to be forced into hiring without sexist/racist bias, even at a subconscious level. That hasn't happened yet.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/16 10:00 PM

Can you explain what feminists are specifically saying that is causing you to feel racially persecuted? Why are they wrong about these assumptions?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/16 09:33 PM

how is that possible when the vast majority of them are voting for Clinton on the basis that she's a woman? The majority of feminists are not voting for the simple fact that HRC is a woman. If that were the case, Jill Stein would have a huge female following (she doesn't). They view HRC as qualified and additionally, she supports issues women care about. Susan Sarandon made a similar comment and feminists have been dragging her all week. P.S: Lots of Bernie supporters were feminists. The absolut…

AWALT is best applied as all people are like that. Given the right circumstances every human looks out for themselves first. Once again picking all the fun, controversial stuff off your RPizza and saying the same thing literally everyone has been saying. So you have no idea what the philosophy really says or why and yet you feel qualified to judge it? The content is rehashed, quoted and paraphrased in nearly every TRP post. Absolutely I feel qualified to judge it. I've always enjoyed people's individualism. AWALT boils down to 4 mechanics, solipsism, Machiavellianism, immaturity, and hypergamy. Every woman has these mechanics in their brain that they use. All of them. You know how on South Park, the caption blinks "THIS IS WHAT __ ACTUALLY BELIEVE"... I'm experiencing that. Thanks, immaturity cog! Honestly though, how do you maintain this theory when it's disproved so often? I feel like I'm getting the evangelical sex-ed version of psychology. TRP believes AWALT which negates the need for experience because women will inherently react the same to proper RP strategy.

So I've wondered this for a while, and I guess here's my chance: Is it possible your girl is into some dom/sub kink and she's really shy about it? I can't understand dealing with the alpha-ing post-orgasm. It's the only way I can wrap my head around these women being on board with all this.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/16 07:30 PM
1

If this were a dating scenario with a person I found attractive and I detected they were using TRP (or TRP endorsed) rhetoric on me I would end the date and even explain why. Flirting, escalating, etc have nothing to do with TRP. Socialized men can detect nuance and whether these behaviours are desired or appropriate. This is why experience talking and listening to women is crucial.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/16 07:26 PM

You mean the chronological events that take place when humans have sex with each other? Thank AWALT for our ancient TRP megalith to teach us such things.

90% of how TRP encourages men to interact with women would be off-putting for me (at best). I socialize with lots of different kinds of people and disingenuous behaviour is obvious to me. I'm not an anomaly. Out of curiosity, how would a flawless RP performance go down in this situation?

/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/16 04:30 PM
1

No, that sounds like we have a very different sense of humour, but there's nothing at all wrong with teasing each other. A lot of RP men seem too sensitive/insecure for playful banter. The way /u/ZazieGallimard described it was: One thread about how to respond to your man when he says something nasty or offensive springs to mind.I remember thinking most of the recommendations were childish. ..So not just eating the last cookie.

You honestly don't cringe at all imagining a grown woman using toddler-speak to address a real problem? I'm all about lighthearted and happy (which is why I despise TRP) but I don't know how your meant to feel that way walking on egg shells all the time... Or using sing-songy names to distract your spouse from being cruel, while simultaneously infantilizing yourself. It seems much more insidious than that and really creepy.

I agree. Most of what TRP describes as an "alpha man" sounds awful to be around. They're generally ignoring you, pretending to be another person, being stoic boring or searching for things to feel disrespected about. Good times.
