What do you actually want? Sounds like she's got you wrapped around her finger. Why not just say what you want? And then act like it? Her: booty shorts and smirk You: Smirks back; "I'll give you something to smirk about" - grabs her from behind, pushes her against nearest surface, and slides your hand between her legs Her: no You: k, then back to what I was doing. And FFS WHY DID YOU GIVE HER THE SILENT TREATMENT? Ignore her childish antics and just talk to her like an adult. She can ignore you …

...do things and make friends with whichever women show up there. I took ukulele group lessons... women. Drawing meetup... women. Dancing... women. Live music... women. Hell, I even made female friends at freakin' PINBALL tournaments, which is normally a total sausage fest. Join a meetup and just go. Just GO OUT and do stuff. Just to make friends, no other expectations.

Talk to a divorce lawyer. Have papers ready. Document her suicide threats. This is manipulation. Don't accept it. It's super toxic. Don't "put" expectations on anyone. You just live the way you live and she can be a part of it or not. Go re-read the sidebar, hit up some of Rian Stone's series on YT. You're not getting some fundamentals, man.

Responding to emotion with emotion. Fights only happen if you let them. Set some boundaries and enforce them. But remember boundaries are what YOU will tolerate not limits on other people. A clean kitchen is a boundary. Not a want. What are the consequences? None? Your tears? You throwing a tantrum? How's that working out? Someone said here that your wife already has a pussy and doesn't need a second one. Disrespectful wife. Who cares if she takes offense? Is she adding value to your life or not…

This was my thought, too. I host my own domain for like $6 a month. I put my own install of WordPress on it, it's open source. Do people only talk metaphorically about OYS? I take that shit literally, too.

"Why when I did X, she didn't do Y." Covert contract. You don't get other people to do anything. Fix you. "I you don't like how she is but I keep her around." Oneitis. Again, fix you, keep tightening the 1000 ft rope. Is she your dress up doll or a real human being that provides value to you? If her value is in looking nice, maybe you worry too much about what other people think.

An easy way to do this is to realize you are not your emotions; rather, you feel them. I am not scared - I feel fear. I am not angry - I feel anger. Etc. Then feel it fully. Explore it. Ask questions. Basically, deal with your emotions directly.

Yep. I'm keto, too. Just had Mexican for lunch. Street tacos, just get a fork and eat the meat. But there's so much... Guacamole is awesome. Ceviche. Taco salad, no beans or rice, don't eat the shell or ask for a bowl. Etc. You've got a brain, maybe use it next time. Don't make excuses. Pick a place and make it keto yourself. She can come if she wants. Lose the oneitis.

When I say no, I feel guilty. Great book. Not so much about the title, was better than I thought it was going to be.

Carbs are not an essential nutrient. Your body makes all the carbs it needs. Testing has proven that you gain muscle on short-to-intermediate fasts (up to 14 days, maybe more, I don't recall). At the very least, it's muscle sparing not muscle burning. You have to have crazy low body fat to worry about being on keto. When in a low glucose state, your body burns fat so it has energy (ketones). Your fat is just energy storage for lean times. After about 90-100 days of hardcore keto, I had my first …

Yes, it's definitely contentious. Glad you're open to the convo. Cardio is easier because you never hit the wall. I can do crazy long distance on keto, and a lot of ultra marathon runners and distance cyclists are switching. Also, you never see the wobbly leg, delirious people at the end of races when they are on keto. Recovery from a marathon is super easy on keto, too. A day vs. a week or more. If you're doing HIIT, maybe carbs will work better. The science is really leaning towards keto being…

I disagree with your dietary advice. Cardio is better if you are keto adapted, especially recovery. You advised upping carbs but then told him to eat high protein, but gluconeogenesis is highly specific to the person and will change as muscles adapt to burning FFA directly on keto (as will serum ketone levels). Also, ketones cause insulin to spike, too. As you noted, it's an energy storage hormone, and ketones are fuel. I don't entirely disagree with adding some carbs (cycling carbs works great …
