1	How much time would a man get for doing this? That's a fair point. There are definitely problems with the system. Though I am a part of it, I am pretty critical of the racism, classism, and "good ol' boy-ism" inherent to the system and many of the people within it. I think we need MAJOR overhauls in how we treat many offenses (especially non-violent and drug offenders). Ima go out on a limb here and suppose that this one case that you don’t know the details of isn’t representative of the system as a whole and may have actually been quite fair due to facts you don’t have. It’s a lot safer assumption than yours. You can always find individual cases, strip them of relevant context, then use them to support whatever point you’d like to make.
