Oh. In my personal opinion I don’t see that as a red flag. I don’t think there are rules in what order someone gifts you. I think after the event was over I’d be happy to receive my presents. That’s a really sweet gesture. Maybe ask your aunt to elaborate? Maybe she thought it would have looked better if he had brought them with him but I mean…would it have made a difference to you?

When you say he brought you gifts you mean he brought them to you and then before going inside the building he put them back in the car? I don’t get it, sorry! But on the other hand a big congratulations to you! As a first generation that is a big deal. Don’t let anybody make you feel bad during such a rewarding day. Keep working; studying hard!

Woah, that’s messed up. I’ve never heard about this? Is the possibility of this happening to someone only if they tear during childbirth?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/04/22 07:19 PM
39

Oh absolutely! Even worse they don’t have the decency to cross your username out. If you don’t have your DMs closed they will blow that shxt up too. Send some kind of mental health prompt. I’m convinced these are the kind of men who would probably retaliate in real life if you reject them or disagree with what they have to say.

What’s an nlog? Anywho, damn I’m sorry that happened to you. That’s so fxckin scary. For all you know it could be someone who came across your old profile who knows you in IRL. Something of that sort happened to my friend. I’m glad it’s down now.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/04/22 06:49 AM

Yes. I try not to dwell on it too much though as much as I wish I could turn back the clock we are here now. Still got time to improve ourselves.

She should really get that checked out at the hospital if he bit her and broke skin. Human bites can be dangerous. The fact that he didn’t even suggest getting it treated after seeing the damage is a red flag and that he doesn’t give af. He’s not sorry. Oh, and the crocodile tears! Some men really go out of their way to put on a show.

For me, absolutely not. Though I understand others might have different lifestyles.

My question to her is “if he wanted to he would” is a logical fallacy then if he wanted to why didn’t he? When it comes to relationships if they wanted to they definitely would. My friend who was in a toxic relationship where they didn’t “but wanted to” and said to her “it’s the thought that counts though right?” She deserved better. A thought doesn’t mean shit without the gesture. Why do people try to excuse the behavior of scrotes? I feel that maybe she’s generalizing but unless if there were …

I was curious and searched what you wrote, and I don’t see anything of that sort? Though one sound trend which was annoying was one that was like “When are we gonna see insanely hot men with average woman.” Edit: Wow. I have no words. I’m disgusted. This really is the dark side of tik tok,

Woah, crazy! Can you elaborate on what rape by deception means? That stood out to me because I recently heard that term before in a case where a guy had protection on and then took it off halfway without the woman knowing. Shit! This is all scary.

Damn. I get it now. Yeah that’s totally wrong! Seriously that’s nothing to boast about. Where has their self-respect gone? Imagine posting this and your friends and family seeing this.

Some would say she’s being good to him to “secure the check” in the end. Realistically, he won’t marry her. He’ll probably waste her time, and end up with someone else.

If possible it’d be rare. For someone to make a drastic change like that I feel like they’d have to go through something traumatically eye-opening to make such a 180.

Yeah, he’s strange. It seems this scrote would rather be bitching at women and stay home and create scenarios in his head that will never happen. I’m getting major red flags. He sounds controlling.

Wow, he’s so damn cheap he can’t even add his own wife on the payroll. I’d take his ass to court. She’s literally working for free. He’s clearly trying to control her. Fuck their family too. Bunch of enablers.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/02/22 05:10 PM

This just proves men or should I say scrotes know what they are doing. They are aware, and won’t hesitate to act that way. I feel for the women who cried and begged. They didn’t know any better. I remember being a teen wasting my tears.

Religious or not there are men out there who would wait till marriage. They either wait because they made that decision or they’d love and respect you to wait. I feel like if many relationships didn’t have sex in the equation people would find there isn’t anything there. Do not feel discouraged. I repeat again no matter what society says, sex isn’t everything and HVMs who have patience and self control exist.

I don’t recommend. I’ll have to re-read the handbook, but I thought big age gaps weren’t encouraged. All I’ll say, if I could go back to when I was 18 to talk to my younger self I’d tell her she has no business being involved with older men.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/01/22 05:02 PM

I wonder if this is the same OP from that one post about the husband found out the wife made more money and he wanted to revoke the prenup he suggested. Then mentioned how he wanted to quit his job and pursue his dreams of becoming a professional gambler. 🥲

BS. “I added her on Reddit.” There’s no such thing. Plus, if he suggested splitting the bill and she posted about it on here most likely she wouldn’t of wasted 8 months with him. That’s a quick block and delete.

There won’t be a next year. Seriously. If he wanted to he would have planned something for your bday, not a mere couple days before. That’s why that gift was thoughtless. You deserve better.

Oh I’ve been there. The classic friend who lets her boyfriend controls who she’s friends with or/and life. It sucks! Depending how deep she’s in with this guy you might have to mourn the friendship and move on.

I think the only person in this scenario who needs empathy and support is the wife. I wonder how many times she told him to help and he did nothing. Countless times. So funny his heart breaks for his babies, but not for his wife carrying 99.9% of the load. He’s useless.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/12/21 12:48 AM
28

He really couldn’t “sacrifice” the time it would take to drive his pregnant wife around? He couldn’t be bothered to love and serve her in the most vulnerable time ever? So what he had a bad day. That has nothing to do with the wife. She still cooked him dinner after his tantrum and didn’t eat it. I can’t with this guy.

It’s actually freaking me out. I was tagged by these people in their comments and they even reported my comments to send a Reddit Cares prevention message. This has never happened to me before. Is this normal for those being apart of this sub?

The only clown and facepalm here is the guy in this post. He really thought he could go on some dates and talk about how he’s basically still living in the past. Her advice to him seeking therapy is probably the only solid advice he’s ever received in his life (hence the jaw drop.) Props to her who chooses not to date someone still hung up on someone else !

Notice how he didn’t even give her a chance to say what kind of food she was feeling? He just skipped over that and strongly suggested something else (which conveniences him.) Sneaky way to make it look like you had a say/choice when you really didn’t.

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy02/12/21 07:46 PM

Haha, that sounds like the plot of After. I felt that way too when I was younger. The wanting of becoming that ‘special’ girl who would be the exception to the rule.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/12/21 12:39 AM
104

Yeah definitely unmatch him. I’ve heard guys follow weird rules like “don’t contact her until after three days after the date.” It’s your typical trope of I’ll call you later, but he never does. It says a lot about him. No man worth it would keep you waiting like that.

This! Scary true.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/11/21 07:58 PM

This grown ass man thought it’d be a good idea to publicly humiliate her about something that was private. Now he’s invalidating her, and having others join in to do so as well. That’s abusive. She’s way too young to be putting up with this shxt. I hope she realizes she deserves better than this.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/11/21 07:50 PM

Respectfully, I don’t need you to check me. I don’t understand in what way I am being mean. I’m on her side! If I said this to her in person she would know and hear the sincerity in my voice and tone.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/11/21 05:00 AM
18

I was not being catty. It’s a reminder to remember why he was blocked in the first place. It’s super easy to get sucked back in. He clearly didn’t respect her boundaries. There’s no doubt she was doing okay before he contacted her again. She mentioned thinking about the good times, but look at how he’s making her feel already. I was being forward. No disrespect whatsoever to OP. I’ve seen and experienced this before so I can relate.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/11/21 04:50 AM

Seriously? So all it took was a letter to get back into your good graces? Come on. Really? He’s blocked for a reason, and you know why.

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/11/21 01:28 AM

The best advice would be to just leave him. They do know. Men aren’t stupid. They know. You will seriously make yourself sick trying to explain yourself in a million different ways to get your point across and they still won’t even give a shxt (“get it.”) Such a waste of time, and energy. I don’t do second chances.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/11/21 07:54 PM

They’re actually not married. He proposed in 2015. They have two children since then, but they have never tied the knot…yet.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/11/21 07:24 PM

Maybe he’s an open book? I personally think talking about needing therapy on the second date is a bit heavy. It’s too soon.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/11/21 07:16 PM

I don’t OLD, but if you have any tips for those who do that would be great! I feel there are abundance of post of women asking how to go about it. I hate that I have no advice to give because it never worked out for me. I think this would be a great contribution. In your thread (if you decide to make it); as a disclaimer you should link this post here too!

I have the idea that she already knows how this is all gonna end… I mean there are other ways to get ‘exposure.’ Why signup for a dating show if you’re in a committed relationship. It seems like an out. I wonder if it’s the show Por Amor or Por Dinero. It comes on tomorrow. It’s 8 women, and 8 men.

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/11/21 02:27 AM

So she married an unemployed man, and considered this a win because “her persistence payed off” why?! Just why? What could she possibly like about him?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy15/11/21 06:55 AM

They should have worded it “AITA because my husband is an asshole?” She knows better! Of course she isn’t obviously!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy15/11/21 12:53 AM
2

Advice on how to respond? Just don’t. You were nice the first time, and he’s still trying to talk to you. I hate guys who push boundaries. Also, it’s likely he has a queue of messages that he sends to women Instagram. I don’t understand why they go outside of a OLD dating app to talk. That feels like a invasion of privacy.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/11/21 03:49 PM

Lesson learned indeed. A month isn’t long enough. I’ve learned the hard way. Luckily for you he dropped his mask rather quickly. It stings for sure, but you’ll be alright !
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/11/21 07:45 AM
19

Just because he’s good looking, paid for dinner, and has his own place doesn’t make him a HVM. You can’t exactly know for sure quite yet. Please don’t beat yourself up! Him asking you to hangout 1:30am seems a lil sus. When will he be taking you out on a second date?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/11/21 07:15 AM

I feel like after this experience she just gave up, and decided ‘not to’ care anymore about being a forever gf. She stopped trying. What a shell of a life to live.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/11/21 06:04 PM

Nice! If you feel comfortable, could you share more on how you got here? I’d love to know what led you to the man of your dreams, and your love story. ETA: Nevermind. I was under the impression you knew this man for quite some time, and it was an actual FDS success by adhering to what you’ve learned from the handbook.

This reminds me when I was 14. There was a boy in my class, and him and I clicked. He asked me to be his girlfriend of course I said yes. Though he sorta didn’t want to be seen with me - I felt. He gave me my first kiss, and not even a week later I saw him with another girl and found out it was his new girlfriend. He stopped talking to me. That hurt, and from what I can say from this is… be careful. I was taken a back because it was the first time I felt insulted or not good enough. Though I was…

Yes! I basically stopped dating after 23. I had just gotten out of a toxic relationship and wanted to be single. While focusing on myself, I found that I’m much more happier alone. I’m still young, and y el novio can wait!

Uh, I didn’t know this was a thing. This is scary! How can you avoid this? At least with drinks you can keep an eye on them, and it never leave it unattended. This is a possibility I never thought to prepare for.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/10/21 05:07 PM
46

At that point I would keep it real and say this second date is a bit out of my budget (even if it wasn’t)… I can pay for the food, and drinks. However as it was your idea to come here you can pay for the time it cost to hangout here. Thanks.

I was never familiar with the word/act of negging. After looking it up I’m afraid I was negged a few times in my late teens. Wow. i.e: You have broad shoulders. I am usually into (insert woman’s race) because they’re so small, and petite and tiny. I guess at the time I brushed it off. I was such an idiot. Ew. Oh, and not to mention I was 19 and he was 32. It’s crazy how when you get older you realize how unacceptable and inappropriate that was.
